Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 1632: Chapter 1632: Let’s Talk Terms

When she was driving home in the afternoon, she drove down the main street, and suddenly, out of nowhere, a person appeared right in front of her car.

She braked urgently, preventing a tragedy, but it triggered another one.

She got out of the car to check the other person’s condition, and after seeing that they were not injured, she got back into the car relieved.

Before she could even start the car, she felt a chilling sensation on her neck.

Without looking down, she could see the situation from the car’s rearview mirror.

There was someone in the back seat of her car, not just anyone but Wang Jiu, his face twisted in a sinister grin, holding a sharp knife to her neck.

”Let’s go! Drive!”

”Where to?” Lin Qiushu’s heart pounded severely, she could even hear the tremor in her breaths.

”To the place we should go.”

”What place should we go to?” Lin Qiushu tried to calm herself down, wanting to buy some time by talking.

”You talk too much damn nonsense.” Wang Jiu muttered under his breath and struck her hard on the head.

Lin Qiushu felt a dull pain rush through her, stars exploding in front of her eyes, and then she completely lost consciousness.

When she woke up, she found herself in this rundown place, sitting alone.

She tried several times to break free from the bindings, but little did she know Wang Jiu was an experienced old hand at this; he knew exactly how to tie knots that got tighter as one struggled more.

Lin Qiushu was in despair when suddenly she heard footsteps approaching from afar.

She quickly closed her eyes, leaning against the pillar while waiting for the other person to arrive.

The footsteps drew closer and closer, finally stopping in front of her.

Then she heard a smack, and a harsh slap landed on Lin Qiushu’s face.

”Stop faking! Open your eyes, dammit!”

Lin Qiushu slowly opened her eyes, tears filling up due to the pain: ”What do you want to do?”

”I’m going to deal with you.” Wang Jiu’s mouth twisted, and he stood up to undo his pants.

Lin Qiushu’s face paled with shock: ”What are you doing? Wang Jiu, you need to think clearly about the consequences of doing this.”

”Clear! Of course, I’m fully aware!” Wang Jiu sneered, ”I’m not even planning to save my own life, why can’t I have a taste of you before I die?”

”Don’t mess around. We... we can negotiate...”

”Mess around? I just want to mess around.” Wang Jiu clenched his teeth, grabbing Lin Qiushu’s jaw with his forceful hand like a pair of pliers, ”This look of yours, especially pitiful under the moonlight, makes one want to comfort you...”

”Wait!” Lin Qiushu forcefully jerked her head, throwing Wang Jiu’s hand off, ”I’ve never wronged you, why are you doing this to me? I don’t believe a man like you would be short of women.”

”Yes. You’re right. I’m not lacking in women, but you, you’ve angered me, cut off my income, and my friend’s income, how do you think I should treat you?” Wang Jiu looked down at Lin Qiushu from above.

”It all comes down to money. How much can your friend give you? I can give you so much more!” Lin Qiushu said.

”Really? You think I would believe you?”

”I’ve taken over four branches of Nanguofeng, do you think I don’t have enough financial power?” Lin Qiushu stared back at him, her chest heaving slightly due to nervous breaths.
