Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 1622: Chapter 1622: Unforgettable for Life

Lin Qiushu was bewildered.

Her pretty little face instantly flushed red like an autumn apple. It turned out that when he mentioned wanting to taste the lipstick, this is what he meant...

And she had even pulled out her own lipstick and handed it to him.

Years later, when Lin Qiushu recalled this moment, she still felt her face burning with embarrassment. Her intelligence at that instant seemed like it had vanished!

This was utterly mortifying!

Years later, Yan Ye still chuckled when he brought up this event, claiming that Lin Qiushu was mesmerized by his handsome presence.

However, at this moment, Lin Qiushu stood frozen as if a spell had been cast on her, immobile.

She observed his gently closed eyes, felt his tentative nibbling, savored the crisp and fragrant scent of alcohol coming from between his lips, and felt her heart pounding violently, her blood boiling.

Lin Qiushu could feel her stiff limbs gradually loosening up, her hands gently resting on Yan Ye’s shoulders, and then tenderly kissed him.

A gentle spring breeze came along, rustling the leaves above their heads, and bright sunshine filtered through the gaps in the branches, casting mottled shadows on the pebble-filled path.

Surrounded by this warm spring scenery, Lin Qiushu felt her dormant youthful heart revitalizing instantly.

After a long while, the two slowly parted.

Lin Qiushu looked up at Yan Ye: ”Did you drink too much just now? Were you not clear-headed?”

”What do you think?” Yan Ye asked with a light laugh.

Looking into his clear eyes, where was any hint of drunkenness?

”So, you weren’t actually drunk just now?” Lin Qiushu said in astonishment, his acting had been too convincing, she didn’t notice at all.

”What would you like to hear? If I said I wasn’t drunk, would you scold me? Or even hit me?” Yan Ye looked down at her.

”You weren’t drunk, that’s a relief.” Lin Qiushu pursed her lips and smiled, her eyes and brows rippling with a spring-like vibe, ”But now, I want to ask you, how does the lipstick taste? Was it as good as you imagined?”

Yan Ye raised his finger, gently touching his lips, seemingly reliving the taste: ”Soft, sweet, unforgettable!!”

The corners of Lin Qiushu’s mouth curved up, and she pulled out a handkerchief from her bag, raising her hand gently to wipe clean the lipstick from Yan Ye’s mouth: ”There, all clean!”

Yan Ye also smiled, reaching out his hand to her.

Half an hour later, the two finally managed to buy the vinegar.

As soon as they entered the house, they were teased by everyone.

”It took you so long to buy vinegar? Even a snail moves faster than you guys,” An Hao said with a laugh.

”Oh?” Yan Huan suddenly stood up, seemingly having discovered something significant. However, given the presence of elders and certain jokes being inappropriate, she dragged the two aside and whispered, ”Brother, could you tell Qiushu where her lipstick went?”

Lin Qiushu: ”...” Your eyes are too sharp.

They eventually managed to deal with everyone’s teasing and finally had their lunch.

When it was time for the Yan Family to leave, they invited Lin Qiushu to visit their house.

Lin Qiushu politely declined.

She thought that by the next time, when her relationship with Yan Ye would be closer and more natural, visiting them would feel more natural.

The Yan Family left, and Yan Ye was initially going to stay a bit longer with Lin Qiushu, but then an emergency surgery came up, and he had to leave early.
