Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 337: Chapter 335: Lying

When Gu Shuangshuang asked, An Hao looked up and asked her, ”Shuangshuang, do you believe me about this?”

”Of course I believe you.” Otherwise, she wouldn’t have spoken to the instructor like that.

”Just now there indeed was a foot that tripped me. Think about where we were standing. You were coming from the diagonal direction, I was right behind Xu Yinuo, and where was Guan Kexin? She was beside me but slightly behind, and only she could have stuck out her foot quickly enough to trip me.” From the moment she fell, she knew it had something to do with Guan Kexin.

”That’s what I thought! So, what do you plan to do next, An Hao?” Gu Shuangshuang asked.

”If the instructor doesn’t pursue this matter, then let’s leave it at that. If he insists on a conclusion, I will definitely tell the truth.” She was not afraid of some leader’s granddaughter.

Even if the leader came, he would have to be reasonable.

------------

”Alright. I support you!” Gu Shuangshuang said firmly.

After the morning training, most people had left the field, and Xu Yinuo and Guan Kexin finally returned.

The instructor asked Xu Yinuo, ”How is it? Is the injury severe?”

Xu Yinuo nodded, ”The wrist is quite bad, there is a soft tissue contusion, and it’s swollen quite a lot now.”

After speaking, she stretched out her wrist for the instructor to see.

The instructor looked and frowned, ”You don’t participate in the training for the next few days, rest in the dorm for a while.”

”Thank you, instructor.” Xu Yinuo even found fortune in misfortune.

”No need to thank me. You and Guan Kexin explain what happened at the time,” the instructor said as he looked around and saw everyone was gathered, then brought the topic back to the morning’s events.

”Is there a need to explain? I saw it all clearly from behind. It was An Hao who pushed Xu Yinuo down deliberately to get a few more hours of rest,” Guan Kexin accused first, insisting that it was An’s fault.

”You’re lying! It’s obvious that you resorted to tricks because you couldn’t grab a stool for yourself. Guan Kexin, it was you who tripped me!” An Hao said with certainty.

With two people giving two answers, the instructor was also somewhat unclear for a moment and asked Xu Yinuo, ”What did you feel at the time? Did she push you? Or did she hit you?”

Xu Yinuo looked at An Hao, then glanced at Guan Kexin, and seeing that she was staring at her unblinkingly, Xu Yinuo felt somewhat intimidated.

She had been warned in the infirmary. If she spoke out of turn, Xu Yinuo wouldn’t have a moment’s peace for years to come.

The most important point was that upon graduating from Medical University, jobs were assigned.

If Xu Yinuo dared to oppose her, then she could expect to have no job in the future.

This was exactly what Xu Yinuo was worried about.

She clearly felt that An Hao had hit her unexpectedly, without any malicious intent to push her from behind, but still, she was timid. Threatened by Guan Kexin, she went against her conscience and told a lie.

”I feel... feel like An Hao pushed me. But I’m not certain!” Xu Yinuo said in a low voice, looking down.

Seeing Xu Yinuo’s timid demeanor, Gu Shuangshuang knew she was lying.

”Yinuo! How can you lie! Say it as it is, don’t be intimidated by someone bullying you by borrowing power from others,” Gu Shuangshuang said somewhat angrily.

”I... I’m not. I just feel she pushed me, but I’m not sure,” Xu Yinuo said, looking down and avoiding Gu Shuangshuang’s eyes.
