Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 303: Chapter 302: Business is Booming

Seeing An Hao’s gaze turn to Bai Yanjiao, the boss smiled and introduced her briefly, ”The person you see here is one of our workshop team leaders. She does her job pretty well, and she will be in charge of your order this time.”

An Hao frowned upon hearing this.

If Bai Yanjiao really took charge of the order, there was no telling what trouble might arise. To avoid a difficult situation later, An Hao decided to speak frankly in advance.

”These pants must be one hundred percent quality assured. If even one is defective, then you will have to compensate at full price.”

”We have mentioned this in the contract, I’m aware of it.” After all, fabric for the pants is not easy to buy inland.

An Hao nodded, and looking at Bai Yanjiao walking increasingly away, said to Mr. Li, the boss, ”It would be best if you don’t let your team leader interfere with this batch of orders. Otherwise, you will be fully responsible for any issues.”

Mr. Li nodded hastily, ”Don’t worry, I will personally supervise this matter.”

”That would be best,” An Hao left, satisfied.

After signing the contract with the garment factory, he rushed back to the city, where the owner of the clothing store signed a revenue-sharing sales contract.

The material for this piece of clothing was eight yuan per meter, plus the processing cost, which totaled eleven yuan.

The two of them calculated and found that their cost price was half cheaper than what they would pay to get goods from a supplier.

If they sold it for twenty-five yuan, the sales would certainly be very good.

So the final price for the first batch of clothing was set at twenty-five yuan.

In this way, An Hao, who had only played a role in bridging connections, never allowed others to communicate directly with the factory.

Thus, without spending a penny, she could earn a profit from selling the clothes.

The factory worked day and night and managed to produce a whole hundred pairs of jeans in less than a week.

An Hao collected the jeans and personally took the goods to the city’s clothing store.

As soon as she entered, the store owner’s joy was so great he could hardly hide his grin, ”I tell you, An Hao, I’ve been anxiously waiting for you like waiting for the stars and moon, and finally, you’re here. All my pants are sold out; I’ve been waiting for your custom-made ones.”

While unloading the goods, An Hao asked, ”How many pairs of pants have you pre-sold in total?”

The owner counted in his notebook, ”Quite a few, more than thirty.”

”What? That many? How much did you tell them?” An Hao stopped what she was doing and asked.

”I didn’t give them a specific price, I quoted a range, saying twenty to thirty yuan. After all, with new pants coming out, we can’t sell them too cheaply,” said the store owner, who was shrewd in business, which reassured An Hao.

After unloading the goods, the store owner bought two ice pops from the shop next door and handed one to An Hao, ”I say, why don’t you act as a model for a bit? As soon as you stand there, our sales will soar.”

An Hao looked at him and smiled, ”I knew you were up to no good when you smiled.”

”So do you agree?” the store owner asked.

”Hmm.” An Hao nodded, went to the back to change clothes, and then stood at the entrance of the shop to chat.

There were many passersby back and forth on the street, and the store owner seized the opportunity to call out, just as a group of female workers from the printing factory who had just finished their shift came out for lunch.

The crowd gathered around asking for the price.

”Flat rate of twenty-five!” the owner declared without hesitation.

No sooner had the words left his mouth than a swarm of people pushed forward to buy the pants.

An Hao had anticipated good business, but she had not expected it to be exceptionally booming.
