Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 313: Chapter 311: Eloquent

An Hao watched the scene from behind the counter, somewhat taken aback.

She hadn’t expected her strategy to cause such trouble for the store.

True, their jeans were cheaper than his, but not by an outrageous amount.

The competitor just wanted to sell at a high price in pursuit of high profits.

But one had to consider whether people’s purchasing power and awareness had reached that level.

Seeing the storeowner bullied with no power to retaliate, and the group blocking the entrance, it seemed they were intent on smashing up the shop today.

An Hao felt she couldn’t just sit by and do nothing.

As she stood up, an idea had already formed in her head.

She walked out from behind the counter to face the crowd, her expression remarkably calm, showing no sign of panic, ”I want to ask all of you, do you really believe that blocking his business will make yours as prosperous as his? Wrong! The reason he can thrive is that he has good strategies. If you also want to prosper, then you need good strategies as well. And I happen to have a good strategy to offer.”

Hearing what An Hao said, Little Huzi was somewhat incredulous, ”Just by you?”

”Yes, just by me!” An Hao said looking at him, affirming with certainty, ”Don’t underestimate others. If you want to make money, drop those sticks in your hands, and let’s have a proper discussion. If you really intend to provoke, then I can only say one thing, by doing so, none of us will have good days in the future.”

”You really have a solution?” the bearded man asked An Hao incredulously.

”Yes.” An Hao surveyed the crowd and said leisurely, ”The cost of these jeans is less than twenty yuan. That’s why we go for low profit and high turnover. The purchase price of your jeans is very high, so you dare not sell them too cheaply. I can cooperate with all of you. If you all get your supply from me, I’ll give it to you at wholesale prices, much lower than the market wholesale prices elsewhere. I can also guarantee that my store will never sell this model of jeans from now on!”

”Hey, hey, An Hao, you need to think this through, take it easy!” the storeowner hadn’t caught most of the conversation but heard one phrase, ”will never sell this model of jeans.”

If he didn’t sell jeans anymore, would he have to survive on Northwest wind?

An Hao turned her head and gave him a glare, ”Would I harm you?”

This was an excellent opportunity, as the others had declared that their store challenged the entire city. If they withdrew, letting the whole city’s merchants compete, what was wrong with that?

The thought made the storeowner sway, transforming from a small storeowner to a wholesaler overnight, expanding his market across the entire city in an instant!

Why would it be bad to not sell this model of jeans?

He could sell denim shorts, denim skirts, denim jackets, right?

With fabric, a processing factory, and an established sales channel, it was like a pie falling from the sky.

If their denim shorts and skirts were well received in the market, no, she was sure they would sell well, then he could directly become a wholesaler, even skipping retail.

It couldn’t get any better!

The storeowner, catching An Hao’s gaze, gradually got the point, ”Alright. Let’s do that!”

Little Huzi, being a businessman himself, sensed an opportunity in An Hao’s words, ”That’s fine, but on one condition, your jeans can only be supplied to me!”

He would become the city’s secondary distributor!

Put simply, An Hao would supply all the jeans to this man at a fixed price, and he would then resell them.

He could then avoid retailing as well.

”Deal!” An Hao agreed readily.
