Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 327: Chapter 325: Beyond Expectations

Gu Shuangshuang really couldn’t stand it anymore and said to Guan Kexin, ”You are really disgracing your grandfather! He’s a provincial leader. How could he raise a granddaughter like you...”

Before she could finish speaking, Xu Yinuo tugged at the hem of her skirt. She shook her head at Gu Shuangshuang to signal her not to offend someone upon just arriving.

Just as Gu Shuangshuang was about to speak, the secretary said, ”Guan Kexin, you are not uniting with your classmates on the first day of reporting. How will you get along with everyone in the future! I will report this matter to the old leader when I go back!”

”Report it if you want!” Guan Kexin was angry, ”I’m going to find Yan Ye! Let him handle this!”

She even insisted on taking a top bunk—the very one An Hao had!

Having said that, she stormed out, slamming the door behind her.

Watching Guan Kexin leave, Gu Shuangshuang gave An Hao a thumbs up, ”Impressive! I admire you, An Hao! That’s how you should teach a missy like her!”

After this incident, An Hao got a clear picture of the situation in the dormitory.

But it didn’t matter; she wasn’t here to live a life. She was here to study. What was there to be afraid of?

As An Hao was thinking, there was a knock on the door. A strange girl walked in and asked, ”Who’s An Hao? There’s someone looking for you downstairs!”

The girl standing at the door, tall and fashionably dressed, her almond-shaped eyes scanning the room, waved her hand to the person behind her, ”You, come in...”

------------

”Someone’s looking for me?” An Hao was puzzled. It was the first day of school, and she didn’t know anyone. Who could it be?

”He said his name is Qin Jian,” the female student said.

Qin Jian! He had actually come!

An Hao was overjoyed. She could hardly believe it. Qin Jian actually showed up on campus on the first day of school.

”Thanks, classmate!” An Hao got down from her bed, put on her shoes, and quickly ran downstairs.

As soon as she stepped out of the dormitory building, she saw Qin Jian, dressed smartly in a shirt and trousers, standing tall and straight.

It was the first day of school. Students dressed in various-colored clothes were coming and going, including upperclassmen and women in military uniforms, but no matter where, Qin Jian was definitely the most eye-catching presence.

His handsome and distinctive appearance, his unique aura, wherever he stood, attracted countless female students’ gazes.

An Hao paused, thinking if she rushed over excitedly, would she become the center of attention for the whole school the next day?

So, she decided to restrain herself and keep some distance for the time being.

Qin Jian saw An Hao standing in place for a long time without moving, a variety of expressions on her face, unsure what she was thinking inside.

Seeing that she was hesitant to come over, Qin Jian had to wave at her, ”Come here!”

When An Hao saw Qin Jian signaling to her, she looked around and saw no one was paying attention, she quickly walked over to him, and without a word, pulled on his sleeve and dragged him to a quieter area beside the building.

”How did you know I was in that dormitory?” An Hao saw him and asked.

Qin Jian looked around at the surroundings, frowned, and asked An Hao, ”How come you look like a thief after not seeing you for half a month?”

”You’re the one who looks like a thief!” An Hao laughed, ”Aren’t I just afraid of being seen and becoming the subject of gossip?”

”Let them talk!” Qin Jian didn’t care at all. He raised an eyebrow and glanced at a young man who had been staring at An Hao as he passed by and said, ”Let people know you are already taken. That will save the trouble of others getting ideas about you!”
