Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 792: Meet Fei Qinyuan

Zhang Fei answered Hong Quan by taking out the soul replicas of Fei Qinyuan and Shang Xishun. ”Grandpa Quan, I have no intention of attacking them openly because it will be detrimental to us, especially with the presence of Shang Yanhan and Shang Yanjun. I have already done something to Shang Huaqiang, and his soul will continue to weaken without him knowing, so he will not be a threat to us. The solution I have in mind is that we should weaken those two old men, and I am thinking of controlling the two women through these two soul replicas.”

”Fei Qinyuan may be strong, but she is still no match for those old folks. Shang Xishun is indeed one of the important elders in the Shang Clan, but she wonʼt be able to do too much.” Hong Quan paused for a while. ”Compared to the two of them, Shang Ziyuan is much more useful. Can you do something to her?”

Zhang Fei nodded. ”One of my abilities continues to torment Shang Ziyuan and Shi Wuxian, and its effects will not abate unless I remove it. Iʼve also gotten Xi Yinying from Xi Hongyan, and her shadow abilities are quite peculiar, so she can help me do something about those two women.”

”Eh?” Zhang Feiʼs revelation about Xi Yinying stunned Hong Quan and the others. ”Since when did you get that woman? How did you persuade Xi Hongyan to hand her over to you?”

”Grandma Yinzhi, Xi Hongyanʼs soul was injured due to a demon attack, and she will die if it is not healed.” Zhang Fei explained to them how the woman got her injury. ”She sent Xi Yinying to approach me, so I met her two days ago and exchanged their lives.”

”Haha.” Cai Yinzhi laughed at that. ”Xi Hongyan must be angry with you because you treated her like that, but she would never dare attack you with your status as Hun Diʼs disciple.”

”Are you going to start your plan now?” Hong Chong asked.

”I plan to infiltrate the Shang Clan now, and I will do something to Shang Ziyuan.” Zhang Fei decided to merge the two soul replicas with his soul, especially since he could not use both of them for soul weapons. ”Grandpa Quan, I want you to start suppressing the Wang and Dai clans, as well as the few clans who choose to be loyal to the Shang Clan. Once I succeed in doing something to that woman, I will use her to get rid of Shang Yanhan and Shang Yanjun as quickly as possible.”

Hong Quan immediately pulled his son to his feet. ”We will meet the other leaders of the clans on our side, and we will begin to suppress the Wang and Dai clans.”

”Iʼll join you two, Old Quan.” Jin Ruyue hurried after them.

Murong Qianying then spoke to Zhang Fei. ”Longʼer, you must be careful when you infiltrate the Shang Clan, okay?”

”Thatʼs for sure! Iʼll go to that clan right now.” After Zhang Fei left, Murong Qianying said goodbye to Cai Yinzhi and Yan Yizhen.

Yan Yizhen let out a soft sigh and said to her mother-in-law. ”I feel sorry for Qianying because sheʼs the only one who doesnʼt know Zhang Feiʼs true identity, and she still thinks that heʼs a 10-year-old kid.”

”Sooner or later, Zhang Fei will reveal his true identity to Qianying, so we donʼt need to interfere in their affairs.” Cai Yinzhi then stood up from her seat. ”Letʼs go; we will help our husbands to do other things.”

Zhang Fei was standing on a tree not far from the Shang Clan. He first confirmed Shang Yanhanʼs position, and he found the old man was in his private room. After that, he looked for Fei Qinyuan and found her in her room with Shang Huaqiang.

Zhang Fei then looked for Shang Ziyuan and Shi Wuxian, and the two women were quickly asleep in each otherʼs arms due to exhaustion, especially after they had tried to quell their lust for four days. ”Haha! This way, I donʼt need to do too much with them, and I just need to sneak there to replicate their souls.”

Zhang Fei activated his invisibility and teleported to the front of Shang Ziyuan and Shi Wuxianʼs room before sneaking in without the two of them realizing. Despite this, he waited until he was certain that both women were indeed asleep before making any moves.

Once he was sure that Shang Ziyuan and Shi Wuxian were unaware of his presence, Zhang Fei directly pulled their souls out of their bodies. He directly replicated their souls before merging them with his own. After he returned their souls to their bodies, he also used the soulbinding curse on them to use their soul power to enhance his. ʼThis way, they are in my hands now, and I can start messing with this clan.ʼ

After he left their room, Zhang Fei carefully infiltrated Shang Yanhanʼs private area, and he created several kinds of plants to mess with the old manʼs mind.

Zhang Fei then went to another area, but he found Fei Qinyuan leaving her room and going out of the Shang Clan, so he hurried to follow her.

A while later, Fei Qinyuan arrived at a simple residence, and Zhang Fei followed her inside, where he saw her meet an old woman. From the system scan, he learned that the old woman was Fei Shuya, and he guessed she was the ancestor of the Fei Clan, especially since her cultivation was one minor level below Shang Yanshan.

”Why did you come here again, Qinyuan?” Fei Shuya asked.

Fei Qinyuan let out a soft sigh and sat down beside Fei Shuya. ”Grandmother, Iʼm still confused about my husbandʼs condition; I donʼt understand how his thing could suddenly disappear.”

”Iʼve thought about that too, but I donʼt have an answer for you yet.” Fei Shuya then turned to her. ”Since your husband can no longer satisfy you, I think you can find another man to satisfy you, but you must be careful in doing so.”

Fei Qinyuan was stunned for a moment. ”Are you still thinking about me having a relationship with Huo Chunlai?”

”Yes.” Fei Shuya blatantly admitted it. ”You yourself know that your late grandfather wanted you to marry Huo Chunlai, but you chose Shang Huaqiang instead. The Shang Clan is indeed powerful, but the Huo Clan is much stronger than them, especially with the support of that Lin Clan. Furthermore, Chunlai has never stopped waiting for you, so I think you can start meeting him and building a relationship with him.”

”Grandmother, I—”

”Are you still unaware of the Shang Clanʼs situation?” Fei Shuya asked with narrowed eyes. ”The strength of the Hong and Xi clans has increased rapidly now, especially after the other clans joined them, which put the Shang clan in a tight position. I understand your feelings, but I donʼt want you to die along with them because you are the future of our Fei Clan. You must leave them before itʼs too late, and I think now is an appropriate time given your husbandʼs condition.”

Zhang Fei, who was eavesdropping on their conversation, smiled faintly. ʼThis old woman is smart enough to think of that, but I will not let Fei Qinyuan off so easily, and she must help me destroy the Shang Clan first.ʼ

”Iʼll think about it first, Grandmother.” Fei Qinyuan replied with a soft sigh.

Fei Shuya could only shake her head because Fei Qinyuan was too stubborn, but she then turned to Zhang Fei. ”How long are you going to hide there, kid?”

”Huh?” Fei Qinyuan immediately turned to where her grandmother was looking and used her senses to check. ”Who are you talking to, Grandmother?”

Instead, Fei Shuya spoke to Zhang Fei again. ”You donʼt need to hide anymore; I have been aware of your presence since you set foot in my residence.”

”Haha.” Zhang Fei chuckled as he canceled his invisibility. Fei Qinyuan wanted to move to capture him, but her body didnʼt listen to her commands. ”Are you surprised that you couldnʼt attack me?”

”You! What did you do to me?” Fei Qinyuan angrily asked.

Instead, Zhang Fei questioned Fei Shuya, particularly intrigued by the old womanʼs apparent awareness of his presence. ”Why didnʼt you move to capture me or kill me if you were already aware of my presence?”

”Even if I wanted to capture or kill you, I still couldnʼt do it, right?” Zhang Fei responded to Fei Shuya with a smile. ”I have been monitoring the Shang Clan using special methods, so I have long known about you, including your actions in causing chaos in the clan. I used the same method in this house, so it wasnʼt difficult for me to notice your presence. I know that you poisoned my daughter and her husband from your conversation with Du Yuanjia, and I know that you are Hun Diʼs disciple. You have done something to my granddaughterʼs soul, and I am certain that she will die if I kill you.”

Fei Qinyuanʼs eyes widened in shock as she stared at Zhang Fei. She knew that Hun Di had already taken a new disciple, but she didnʼt expect that he was his disciple. She was even more shocked by her grandmotherʼs last sentence. ”Is that true, Grandma? Has this guy done something to my soul?”

”Havenʼt you experienced the effects yourself? You canʼt move your body to attack him, right?” Fei Qinyuan nodded to Fei Shyua. ”What do you want from us, kid?”

*Clap... Clap...*

Zhang Fei clapped his hands before speaking. ”You are indeed amazing, old woman. Ever since I gained my ability, not many people have been able to notice my presence, and you are the third person who has managed to do so. Honestly, I donʼt have a problem with you or your Fei Clan, but I have a problem with your granddaughter and the Shang Clan.”

Fei Shuya frowned when she heard that, but Fei Qinyuan immediately shouted at Zhang Fei. ”Whatʼs your problem with me? Why are you doing this to me? Weʼve never even met before!”

”Youʼre right that weʼve never met before, but that doesnʼt mean you canʼt have problems with me.” Fei Qinyuan narrowed her eyes at Zhang Fei, but she was confused as to how she could have a problem with him. ”You should still remember about the Sky Jade Realm and the broken portal, right?”

”You—”

”Thatʼs right.” Zhang Fei nodded to Fei Qinyuan. ”Because of you and your husband, several of my wives suffered from the deaths of their father and husband. Not only that, my brother-in-law and my sister-in-law turned into demons because of your actions. Since they are my family, I must avenge their suffering, right?”

Zhang Feiʼs revelation left Fei Qinyuan confused, shocked, and frightened. He was a cultivator from the lower realms, but he could go to the upper realms and do so much to her and the Shang Clan.

”You and your husband sent Shang Chongyun and the other three to the Netherworld Realm to start your second plan to invade the Sky Jade Realm, right? Do you think I will let you guys do that?” Zhang Fei then took out the teleportation portal. ”Your second plan has failed because I have already captured them, and I seized this portal from their hands.”

Fei Qinyuanʼs pupils constricted as soon as she saw the teleportation portal in Zhang Feiʼs hand. Fei Shuya exhaled heavily. ”What must I do so that you will be willing to free my granddaughter?”

”I will never free my enemies, and your granddaughter must be held accountable for her actions.” Fei Shuya immediately stood up and prepared to attack Zhang Fei, but he swiftly moved and captured Fei Qinyuan while pressing the hongxi dagger to her neck, causing her neck to bleed. ”Old woman, your cultivation is indeed much higher than mine, but you will not be able to stop me from killing her, and you will also not be able to stop me from leaving. If you attack me, I will make sure that your Fei Clan disappears from this realm, so you must think carefully before acting against me.”

Zhang Feiʼs threat made Fei Shuya furious, but the speed he displayed just now made her realize that she wouldnʼt be able to stop him from killing Fei Qinyuan, and her Fei Clan would suffer a setback if she died.

Fei Qinyuan, who was in Zhang Feiʼs hands, was also furious at his treatment of her. Unfortunately, she still couldnʼt move her body to fight against him. ʼThis bastard! I really want to kill him!ʼ

Zhang Fei smiled at Fei Shuyaʼs expression. ”Even though I wonʼt let go of your granddaughter, I wonʼt kill her because I still need her. If you are wise, you should separate your Fei Clan from the Shang Clan, or your clan will be destroyed along with them.”

”All right.” Fei Shuya immediately agreed. ”I will separate my Fei Clan from the Shang Clan, so I hope you keep your word not to attack us.”

”I am a man of my word, so you donʼt have to worry about that.” Zhang Fei immediately let go of Fei Qinyuan and disappeared from the residence.

Fei Shuya and Fei Qinyuan immediately spread their senses to search for Zhang Fei around the residence, but they couldnʼt find him anywhere.

”Grandmother, you must save me from that bastard.” Fei Qinyuan persisted with a grim expression.

”If only you had heeded your late grandfatherʼs advice not to marry Shang Huaqiang, none of these would have happened.” Fei Qinyuan had a sour face hearing Fei Shuyaʼs words. ”I donʼt know what he plans to do next, but he wonʼt kill you now because he still needs you, so I still have time to free you from him. For now, I will take care of our clan, and I will meet my old friend after. I donʼt know if she will be able to free you from him, but I will meet her first.”

”Thank you, Grandmother.” Fei Qinyuan then left her grandmotherʼs residence.

Fei Shuya walked to the front of her room, crossed her hands behind her hips, and looked up at the sky. ”Old man, what would you do in this situation if you were still alive? Iʼm more senior and stronger than him, but I feel powerless to face him. Heʼs Hun Diʼs disciple, and his master will definitely make a move if I attack him, which will bring destruction to my Fei Clan.”

Before long, Fei Qinyuan had returned to the Shang Clan, and she immediately returned to her room to think about her situation.

”What happened to you? Why are you so serious?” Shang Huaqiang asked her.

Fei Qinyuan wanted to tell her husband about Zhang Fei, but none of her words could come out of her mouth, making her even angrier in her heart. ”I was just thinking about our situation, especially about the identity of the person who poisoned us. I asked my grandmother to help me find that person, but she still couldnʼt find the culprit, and she suspected that the person had something to do with the chaos in our clan four days ago.”

”I thought so too.” Shang Huaqiang replied with a nod. ”However, I donʼt know where to start looking for that person, especially since we donʼt know where and when we started being affected by the poison. What about Ziyuan? Has her lust still not subsided?”

”Not yet.” Fei Qinyuan shook her head in response. ”If my guess is right, the culprit who made Ziyuan like that is the same person who poisoned us and caused chaos in our clan.”

Shang Huaqiang immediately stood up and walked out of their room. ”I will leave for a few days, and I will start looking for the culprit from the Northern Region.”

Fei Qinyuan then lay on her bed and covered her face with one hand, thinking about Zhang Feiʼs next plan for her and her husband. ʼWhat does he really want from me? Is he thinking of using me to kill my husband? He doesnʼt want to kill me, but he makes me unable to fight him.ʼ
