Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 777: Cursed Demon Bell

Upon their arrival at the Xi Clan, Xi Hongyan and Xi Qiuwei went straight to Shang Xishunʼs room.

Shang Xishun, who had recovered from his injuries, was frightened to see the two. Some time ago, Xi Hongyan had tortured her so severely, leaving her traumatized. ”What... what do you want to do to me?”

”Heh!” Xi Hongyan snorted and unsealed Shang Xishunʼs cultivation, confusing her. ”Even though you still have your consciousness, you are my slave now, and I can kill you whenever I want. Your first task is to return to the Shang Clan, and you must find a way to bring Shang Ziyuan to me. If you fail to do so, I will kill you directly.”

Shang Xishun wanted to refute that, but no words came out of her mouth because Zhang Fei had already bound her soul to Xi Hongyanʼs soul, and she had no choice but to follow her orders. ʼWhat happened to me? Why canʼt I refute her?ʼ

”Are you confused by that?” Xi Hongyan asked mockingly. ”I have asked for help from a soul cultivator, and he has bound your soul to mine. Therefore, if you donʼt want to die a horrible death, you must move your ass and bring Shang Ziyuan to me at all costs.”

Shang Xishunʼs face turned pale after hearing that; she didnʼt even know when Xi Hongyan did such a thing to her, especially since her condition at that time was horrible.

”Go!” Xi Hongyan shouted.

Shang Xishun immediately got out of bed, took out a returning jade, and disappeared from their sight instantly.

”Do you think sheʼll make it?” Xi Qiuwei asked.

”From the start, I wasnʼt sure that she would succeed in bringing Shang Ziyuan to me, but I also had nothing to lose if she failed, and the Shang Clan would be the one to lose for losing an experienced elder like her.” Xi Hongyan then turned around and left the room. ”For now, we just need to wait for the results, and Xi Yinying will report to me whether she succeeded or not.”

Although they were able to maintain their sanity, Zhang Feiʼs hormone manipulation still greatly affected Shang Ziyuan and Shi Wuxian. As soon as they arrived at the Shang Clan, they rushed to their room to relieve their lust.

Shang Ziyuan and Shi Wuxian hurriedly took off their dresses, sat facing each other on the bed with their palms pressed together, and channeled their Qi into each otherʼs bodies.

Unfortunately, their efforts ended in vain, and their lust continued to increase, causing Shi Wuxian to curse. ”Damn it! This effect is similar to what I experienced when that male demon used his abilities on me back then, but itʼs much stronger.”

”What did you do to relieve the effects at that time?” Shang Ziyuanʼs chest continued to rise and fall as she struggled to keep her sanity.

Shi Wuxianʼs condition was no different from hers, especially since the effects of Zhang Feiʼs hormone manipulation were simply too strong. ”I was forced to satisfy myself for a whole week at that time, but I couldnʼt do it by myself. I asked several women to help me, but they couldnʼt help me relieve it either, so I asked my old partner for help. In the end, we dual-cultivated for a week nonstop, and I almost died from Qi depletion at that time.”

Shi Wuxianʼs last sentence caused Shang Ziyuan to frown, especially since she never wanted to have sex with another man, and the last time she did so was hundreds of years ago with her daughterʼs father.

*Knock... Knock...*

Both women immediately checked out of the room, and they saw Shang Xishun, who had just returned, standing in front of the room.

Shi Wuxian knew Shang Ziyuan didnʼt want to have sex with men, so she spoke to her. ”Itʼs impossible for the two of us to relieve our lust together with our conditions like this, so we need other peopleʼs help. Let that woman in and ask her to call some other woman to help us.”

”Come in.” Shang Xishun walked in with a shocked expression, especially after seeing Shi Wuxian and Shang Ziyuan naked. ”Xishun, call some other women here; we need their help to ease our condition.”

”Yes.” Nine women quickly arrived in the room after Shang Xishun called them. ”What should we do?”

”Get naked now and sit behind us.” Shang Xishun and the others were taken aback by Shang Ziyuanʼs orders, but they immediately followed her instructions and sat behind them. ”Channel your Qi into our bodies and help us suppress our lust first.”

They immediately carried out Shi Wuxianʼs orders, but they wondered about the condition of the two women. Shang Xishun, who was sitting behind Zhang Ziyuan, racked her brains to carry out Xi Hongyanʼs order to capture her. ʼSigh! I have to think things through slowly, or I will die in her hands.ʼ

Xi Yinyin, who sneaked into the two womenʼs rooms, immediately informed her matriarch about the matter. Xi Hongyan told her about Shang Xishunʼs status as her slave, and she asked her to cooperate with her to bring Shang Ziyuan to their clan. ʼI will wait for their situation to calm down first, and then I will take her away through the shadow.ʼ

After he spoke with Hong Quan and the others, Zhang Fei immediately left the Hong Clan and went to the Shang Clan, monitoring the clanʼs residence through the map, especially Shang Ziyuanʼs room. ”Oh? They asked those women to help them quell their lust, eh? Hehe! Unfortunately, they will never be able to do so, and they will be tormented by their lust until I help them.”

[Do you want to join them now, Master?]

”No.” Zhang Fei immediately refused. ”Let them suffer long enough, and I will meet them once their condition is critical. By the way, open the four rewards from the quests, Mei.”

[Sure.]

[You obtained the Cursed Demon Bell. Grade: Heaven.]

[You obtained the Demon Heartstone. Grade: Heaven.]

”The Spiritwood Bracers can help a wood element cultivator to speed up their element usage speed, so I will give them to Shi Wu, especially since Lillea and Janette donʼt need them.” Zhang Fei immediately took out the three demon items and dripped his blood on them. The Demonʼs Eye Orb immediately floated to his side, and the Demon Heartstone stuck to his chest. ”Hmm? This orb can help me monitor other areas like my demon familiars, but it can see through inanimate objects. As for the heartstone, it can only help me absorb demon aura ten percent faster, but I think itʼs better than nothing.”

Zhang Fei scrutinized the small black bell closely, but then Mei spoke to him. [Master, this bell is really good, especially since it will spread insanity and chaos once you ring it. Iʼm not sure whether it will affect high-level cultivators like Shang Yanhan and the others, but Iʼm sure it will affect their younger generations, and you can use it to create chaos in the Shang Clan.]

”Haha! Letʼs try the bell.” Zhang Fei immediately activated his invisibility ability and infiltrated the Shang Clan, where he rang the Cursed Demon Bell several times.

*Ding... Ding... Ding...*

Every time Zhang Fei rang it, a black wave immediately swept across the entire area of the Shang Clan, which quickly affected almost all members of the clan.

Zhang Fei suddenly sensed Shang Yanhanʼs aura moving towards his location, especially since the old man also experienced the effect, so he immediately teleported away.

Although Zhang Fei was confident in his invisibility ability, he did not want to risk being discovered by the old man, especially after Du Yuanjia had previously discovered his presence.

In the shadow, Xi Yinying was also experiencing the effects of the Cursed Demon Bell, and it almost caused her to lose her sanity. She was afraid of losing control because of it, so she rushed to leave the Shang Clan.

Zhang Fei, who noticed Xi Yinyingʼs movements, immediately followed her from a distance. He left the Demonʼs Eye Orb in the Shang Clan to keep an eye on the clan, and he saw that Shang Yanhan had arrived at his previous location.

Shang Yanhan tried to find the source of the bell sound using his senses, but the screams of many people suddenly resounded from every corner of his clan. In a short time, some of the senior generations and all the younger generations of the Shang Clan went berserk, and they attacked everyone around them like madmen, causing enormous chaos to break out within their clan. ”What the hell is going on here? Were they affected by the sound of the bell just now?”

An old woman immediately appeared behind Shang Yanhan. ”Ancestor! This is terrible! The bell sound earlier almost affected my sanity, but I managed to ward off its effects. Unfortunately, some of the senior generations and all of our younger generations were affected by its effects, which caused them to go berserk.”

”Order the other elders to move to knock them unconscious.”

”They already did, but several elders are currently in Madam Ziyuanʼs room.” Shang Yanhan turned to the old woman with a frown. ”Something happened to her and Shi Wuxian, and they are helping them to get rid of their bad conditions.”

”Go help the others.” After the old woman disappeared, Shang Yanhan checked Shang Ziyuanʼs room, but he hurriedly withdrew his senses because all the women were naked. ”What happened to them? Didnʼt they previously go to the Jin Clan? Jin Ruyue is quite strong, but she wouldnʼt be able to do anything to them, especially with Shi Wuxian present. Furthermore, where does the sound of the bell come from? Who dares to infiltrate my clan and ring it?”

After he thought about everything and couldnʼt find the answer, Shang Yanhan immediately flew into the air and spread his senses as far as possible, causing the leaders of the other clans to be on alert to face his attack.

Unlike them, Hong Quan and the others did not think much of Shang Yanhanʼs actions because Zhang Fei had already told them that he had deliberately caused chaos in the Shang Clan, and the old man was furious because of it.

Shang Yanhan eventually gave up after he couldnʼt find Zhang Fei, who was still following Xi Yinying using his invisibility. Moreover, he realized that his actions would only provoke the other clans, so he quickly withdrew his senses because the situation in his clan was really chaotic, and their important people were not in good shape. After that, he activated his clanʼs protection so no one could infiltrate and cause trouble within his clan.

After moving around for a while, Xi Yinying finally arrived at the outskirts of the city and came out of the shadow directly. She then sat cross-legged on the ground and tried to eliminate the influence of the Cursed Demon Bell on her mind, but the effect really messed up her mind, making it difficult for her to control herself.

Xi Yinying froze when she felt a hand grab her shoulder, but she suddenly felt the chaos in her mind slowly diminish. ”I have no intention of harming you, so you donʼt need to be afraid of me, and I will help you get rid of the effects.”

Xi Yinying nodded slightly and allowed Zhang Fei to help her calm down the chaos in her mind. In a few minutes, he had already pulled his light qi back and helped her stand up.

Xi Yinying immediately opened her eyes and turned to Zhang Fei, but she was shocked that she couldnʼt detect his cultivation. ”Who are you? How did you follow me? Are you the one who previously infiltrated the Shang Clan? Were you the one who rang the bell earlier?”

”You asked too many questions, Yinying.” Xi Yinying frowned upon hearing her name from Zhang Feiʼs mouth, but she simply smiled and sat down on a rock near them. ”Youʼre correct; I was the one who sneaked into the Shang Clan earlier, and Iʼve been aware of your presence there ever since Du Yuanjia healed Shang Huaqiang and Fei Qinyuan. Youʼre also correct that I was the one who rang the bell, primarily due to my desire to instigate chaos within the clan. As for your name, I canʼt tell you how I know it, but I know Xi Hongyan sent you to spy on the clan. By the way, your matriarch knows my identity because I met her two weeks ago, and I came to your clan with my senior brother, Lin Moxian.”

Xi Yinying still had doubts about Zhang Fei, and she immediately contacted her matriarch to confirm his identity. Xi Hongyan told her that his name was Lan Xiaolong and the Soul Emperorʼs disciple, especially since Lin Moxian introduced him to her using that name, and she asked him not to go against him because it would be detrimental to their clan.

ʼI really didnʼt expect that he would be the Soul Emperorʼs disciple.ʼ Xi Yinying then cupped her hands toward Zhang Fei. ”Thank you for your help; I would have gone crazy if not for it.”

”Hehe.” Zhang Fei chuckled. ”You donʼt have to thank me, right? I was the one who caused you to become like that, so itʼs my duty to help you. By the way, the situation in the Shang Clan is chaotic right now, and Shang Yanhan has already activated his clanʼs barrier, so you wonʼt be able to infiltrate there.”

Xi Yinying nodded in understanding. ”In that case, Iʼll wait for them to deactivate the barrier before infiltrating again, or my matriarch will punish me if I neglect her duties.”

”Wait a minute.” Xi Yinying raised an eyebrow at Zhang Fei. ”Where did you get your shadow demon bloodline?”

”How... how did you know about my bloodline?” Xi Yinying stuttered.

Zhang Fei shook his head at her. ”I wonʼt do anything to you, so you donʼt need to worry. In fact, I myself have shadow techniques, so Iʼm curious about your techniques.”

”Eh?” Xi Yinying was surprised to hear that, but she was even more surprised when a black clone appeared from Zhang Feiʼs shadow. ”A shadow clone?”

”Thatʼs right.” Zhang Fei then asked. ”Can you also create a shadow clone from your shadow?”

Xi Yinying nodded and created a clone of her shadow immediately. ”I got the shadow demon bloodline from my father, but he is not a demon, and he inherited it from my grandfather.”

”Does that mean your ancestor was a shadow demon?” Zhang Fei curiously asked.

”No.” Xi Yinying immediately denied it. ”According to my grandfatherʼs story, my ancestor got the shadow demon bloodline from someone, but he did not know the identity of that person. Since then, the bloodline has passed down to all his descendants, and all of my generations have it in our bodies.”

Zhang Fei immediately canceled his technique and stood up. ”You can leave now, but you must be careful when infiltrating the Shang Clan.

Xi Yinying was stunned that Zhang Fei had just left, but she also felt relieved by his departure. ”Will I be able to meet him again in the future? He has shadow techniques, so I want to discuss with him our techniques. Unfortunately, he is the Soul Emperorʼs disciple, and his status is higher than a servant like me.”

Xi Yinying let out a soft sigh and entered the shadow again, but she suddenly received a voice transmission from Zhang Fei, causing her to smile.

Zhang Fei wanted to enter the training space, but he suddenly remembered the long-distance message he got from Mai Xiaomeng two weeks ago, and he immediately returned to the Nine Stars Realm before going to see Linghu Yincheng and her family.

”Zhang Fei.” Bai Shaoyi, who was sitting in front of the residence, called out in surprise. ”Did you come to do something to that man?”

Zhang Fei nodded at her. ”I donʼt have much time now, so please lead me to him.”

Bai Shaoyi was disappointed upon hearing that, and she felt that Zhang Fei always used the excuse of not having much time to avoid her. ”Please follow me.”
