Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 780: A New Weapon

Zhang Fei was already in the Yin-Yang Space, and he immediately woke Gu Jinling up before handing the self-detonating Gu Insect to her. ”Is this the insect inside the manʼs soul, Master?”

”I enslaved the man who controlled this insect, and he helped me release it.” Zhang Fei then asked. ”Can you tame this insect? Or do you need his help to do it?”

Gu Jinling immediately explained to him. ”Master, the gu insects are worse than humans who are infatuated with their partners, and they will be completely loyal to their master. Therefore, I need his help to control his insects, and we might be able to work together to create the Gu heart that you want.”

”Oh! Thatʼs right! I canʼt learn the Gu technique without the Gu heart.” Zhang Fei immediately took Gu Jinling out of the Yin-Yang Space.

Zhang Fei had already brought Gu Jinling to Li Tiannanʼs room in the Huangfu Palace. ”I want you to teach her all your Gu techniques, and I want the two of you to work together to create the best Gu heart for me.”

”Do you want to become a Gu master like us, Master?” Li Tiannan asked.

”Gu insects are quite interesting, and I have long wanted to learn about them. Unfortunately, Jinling cannot create the Gu heart by herself, so I brought her to you specifically to create one.” Li Tiannan immediately explained to Zhang Fei about how to create one, and his explanation was not much different from what Gu Jinling explained to him a few months ago, but his knowledge of Gu insects was much deeper than hers. ”Can you create the Gu heart in this realm? Or do you have to take Jinling to the upper realms?”

Li Tiannan answered immediately. ”Master, there are so many beasts in the Seven Divine Realms in this realm, so we donʼt need to go to the upper realms to create the Gu heart. However, to create one requires a long process, and we need around six months to a year to do so.”

”All right, you can start right away, but I want to get the best results, so you donʼt need to rush into it.” Since almost everyone in the Huangfu Royal Palace was already under his control and his slaves, Zhang Fei left Li Tiannanʼs room at a leisurely pace. He went to see Huangfu Lian in his room, where he was having fun with a woman who was one of his fatherʼs concubines.

”Who... who are you?” The woman stuttered as she pulled the blanket to cover her body.

”Fei Yan, you donʼt need to be afraid of him because he is our master.” The woman was confused to hear that, but Huangfu Lian immediately got out of bed and covered his lower body. ”What can I do for you?”

”Have you still not succeeded in seducing your fatherʼs other concubines?” Huangfu Lian smiled bitterly and explained everything to Zhang Fei. ”You must succeed in seducing them as soon as possible because I will move soon, and you will be the emperor of this kingdom at that time. If you have difficulty seducing them, you can ask Li Tiannan for help.”

Huangfu Lian raised his eyebrows for a moment, but he immediately realized that Li Tiannan had also become Zhang Feiʼs slave. ”I understand.”

”Who exactly is that young man? Why do you address him as your master?” Fei Yan inquired after Zhang Fei had left.

Huangfu Lian immediately climbed onto the bed again and pinned Fei Yan under him. ”He is a powerful monster, and the other four kingdoms already belong to him. Soon, this kingdom will also be his, and we wonʼt be able to do anything to stop him. I donʼt want to die, so I acknowledge him as my master, and you have to act the same if you donʼt want to die.”

”Does that mean he will kill your father?” Fei Yan asked with a frown.

”I donʼt know about his plans for my father yet, but I donʼt think he will kill him because of the people from the Huangfu Clan. Nevertheless, they wonʼt be able to do anything to help us either, especially since the people behind him are much more powerful than them.” Huangfu Lian then warned her. ”Fei Yan, I know your thoughts, but you must stay out of this matter, okay? He is always monitoring us, and he will kill you if you get involved in this matter, especially if you tell my mother about everything.”

Fei Yanʼs face turned pale, and her body shivered as she did not want to die. ”I understand; I will keep my mouth shut. Moreover, I canʼt possibly tell Sister Yueyi about it, or she will be suspicious of me. If she finds out about our relationship, she will probably kill me herself.”

”Yeah.” Huangfu Lian nodded at her. ”After my master has settled everything, he will crown me as the emperor of this kingdom, and you will replace my mother as the empress.”

Fei Yanʼs smile widened, and she put her arms around his neck. ”Are you really going to choose me as your empress?”

”Yes.” Huangfu Lian replied with a smile. ”Before that, you have to help me seduce my fatherʼs other concubines, okay? Guang Yi is the most difficult among them, and I have failed many times to seduce her.”

Fei Yan responded with repeated nods. ”I am very close to Sister Guang Yi, so I will help you seduce her, and she will fall for you soon. Love me, Lianʼer.”

”Sure.”

Helian Yueyi, who was sleeping on her bed, immediately opened her eyes. She immediately turned to Zhang Fei, who was lying beside her. ”What are you doing here?”

”Donʼt you already know my purpose?” Zhang Fei asked back with a faint smile. ”Itʼs been another two weeks since I was last here, and your time is getting shorter and shorter. If you donʼt make a decision soon, you already know the consequences, right?”

Helian Yueyi immediately sat up in bed and stared hatefully at Zhang Fei, especially since he gave her the most difficult choice in her life: to choose between her husband or her children. She loved Huangfu Shou very much, but she didnʼt want her children to die in his hands. Even so, she couldnʼt bear to kill her own husband for the sake of her safety and that of their children, which made her really depressed. ”Please, Iʼm willing to do anything for you for my children, but I canʼt kill my husband. If you want it, I will serve you forever, but you must spare my children and let them go.”

”Hehe.” Zhang Fei chuckled before sitting in front of Helian Yueyi, and he then lifted her chin. ”You are indeed attractive, but you are not attractive enough for me. If I wanted your body, I could have had you since our first meeting in that bar, and you wouldnʼt have been able to refuse me. I went this far because I only wanted revenge on you and your husband, especially since you two have threatened the safety of my son.”

”But—”

Zhang Fei interrupted directly. ”To tell you the truth, I donʼt usually give my enemies a chance to choose, and I will eliminate them down to their roots so their descendants will not bother me with vengeful problems in the future. Actually, I wanted to eliminate your family, but I changed my mind, so I gave you that choice. If you kill your husband, I will let you and your children go, and I will never bother you again forever, so the choice is up to you. Anyway, Iʼll give you two weeks to decide, and I will finish everything then.”

Helian Yueyi fell onto the bed as soon as Zhang Fei disappeared, and the sound of her crying immediately filled her bedroom. ”Why... why is he so evil? Why... why does he keep forcing me to kill my husband?”

.

.

.

”Mhmm.”

Linghu Yincheng, who was sleeping, immediately opened her eyes as soon as she heard the groan. She then looked at Bai Yaowei, who had already opened his eyes. ”How do you feel, husband?”

”Ugh.” Bai Yaowei groaned again as his mind was still muddled up after being under Li Tiannanʼs control for so long. ”I feel really bad, wife. My mind is really messy, and I feel like thereʼs a lot missing from me.”

Linghu Yincheng let out a sigh of relief before holding her husbandʼs hand and channeling her qi into his body. ”I felt the same way when I first woke up, and you just needed time for your consciousness to fully recover. Someone freed us from that personʼs control, and he also saved our children, so everything will be back to normal again.”

”Who saved us from that person?”

Linghu Yincheng immediately explained everything to her husband, especially about Zhang Feiʼs identity. ”By the way, you donʼt need to think about all that for now, and you should rest your mind first. When your mind is calm, weʼll talk about everything.”

”Yeah.” Bai Yaowei immediately closed his eyes again, but he was not really sleeping, and he tried to calm his mind as soon as possible.

After she told her three children about their fatherʼs condition, Linghu Yincheng immediately hugged Bai Yaowei and accompanied him to sleep, and all the burdens in her heart were completely gone now.

Zhang Fei was already at Duan Zhaoʼs residence, and the old man immediately gave him the new weapon. He immediately tried it out by channeling a little of his fire Qi into the crystal before shooting it toward a huge boulder not far away, and a ball of fire straight shot out from it.

*Boom*

Even though Zhang Fei only used a little of his fire Qi, the boulder instantly exploded into small pieces after being hit by his attack, which satisfied him. ”This weapon is just what I want, Senior Duan.”

”Kid, the more you use your fire Qi on that weapon, the greater its explosive power will be.” Zhang Fei nodded to Cheng Gaoji. ”Different elements have different effects and strengths, so the results will depend on which one you use.”

Hearing that, Zhang Fei immediately channeled his wind Qi into his weapon, and he shot it toward the trees standing in a row.

*Swoosh*

Unlike when Zhang Fei used his fire Qi, those trees didnʼt explode, and his wind Qi pierced through their trunks, leaving large holes in them.

Zhang Fei then tried to use his darkness element and fired it at another tree, but the effect was not as he expected, and the explosive power was too small. However, his darkness quickly spread to every part of the tree, causing it to turn black.

”Oh?” Cheng Gaoji and Duan Zhao were surprised to see that. ”Your darkness element seems to have a corrosive effect, and it is corroding the tree from the inside.”

”Normally, my darkness element doesnʼt have such an effect, but I used one of my abilities, so it had a corrosion effect.” Zhang Fei then turned to Cheng Gaoji and pointed his new weapon at him. ”Stay still, old man. I want to know the effect of my light Qi if I use it through this weapon.”

Cheng Gaojiʼs lips twitched because Zhang Fei wanted to use him as a guinea pig. ”Do it then.”

Zhang Fei shot a bit of his light Qi at Cheng Gaoji, but the old man did not feel the slightest pain. Instead, he felt his light Qi spreading into his body and enveloping his old injuries while healing them.

”What do you feel, old man?” Zhang Fei asked.

”Hmm?” Cheng Gaoji thought for a moment before explaining to him. ”If your darkness element has a corrosive effect, your light element has a healing effect. The effect is slow because you only used a little light qi. If you use more, it will be faster.”

Zhang Fei nodded in understanding. ”My light element does have a stronger healing effect compared to other light elements, and combining it with this weapon is much more beneficial. This way, I donʼt need to get close to people to heal them, and I can heal them from afar, especially during battle.”

”Thatʼs right.” Cheng Gaoji then asked. ”Do you want to produce more of this weapon? Iʼve been gone for a few months, and my customers must be looking for me, so I have to return to the Xianjin Realm as soon as possible. If you want to produce more of this weapon, I can do it there, and I will bring little Duan with me.”

”You donʼt need to go back to the Xianjin Realm, old man.” Cheng Gaoji frowned at Zhang Fei. ”My third clone and Lin Moxian are on their way to that realm, and we will arrive there around two weeks. After they arrive, I can send you two so you donʼt waste months traveling.”

Cheng Gaoji was no longer surprised to hear that, especially since Zhang Fei had previously brought him from the Sky Jade Realm. ”Tell me the truth, kid. What is your relationship with the Heavenly Fox Race? In this entire universe, only their race has the ability to open a gate like yours.”

”Haha! Shouldnʼt you already know the answer, old man?” Zhang Fei transformed into his complete fox form, and his six tails danced behind him, which proved Cheng Gaojiʼs guess. ”I am a heavenly fox, but I am not one of them. Instead, they are my enemies, and I will go to their realm to destroy them after I have reached their level.”

Zhang Fei wanted to return to his human form, but Xian Xian suddenly ran at full speed from inside the residence, and she jumped onto his back directly.

”Wow! I didnʼt expect you to be such a cute and huge fox, Zhang Fei!” Xian Xian said as she lay on Zhang Feiʼs back and rubbed her face against his soft fur. ”Hehe! I love your fur! Theyʼre so soft!”

Gang Zhishou and the two men, who had just walked out of the residence, could only shake their heads at their sisterʼs behavior. However, they were also shocked after learning that Zhang Fei was a fox beast, but they still didnʼt know his demon identity.

Zhang Fei sighed helplessly at Xian Xianʼs behavior, especially since all the women always acted like her if they saw his fox form. ”Senior sister, please get off my back now so I can return to my human form.”

”No!” Xian Xian shouted in refusal. ”Let me enjoy your soft fur first!”

Instead, Zhang Fei jumped into the air and returned to his human form, and he carried Xian Xian before landing again, causing her to purse her lips. ”Come down now, Senior Sister.”

”I donʼt want to.” Xian Xian refused as she put her arms around Zhang Feiʼs neck. ”I wonʼt come down if you donʼt return to your fox form.”

Zhang Fei folded his forehead in response, but a faint smirk suddenly appeared on his face, making Xian Xian shudder. Before she could react, he had already sealed her lips, causing her to fall into a daze.

Gang Zhishou and the others were stunned to see Zhang Fei kissing Xian Xian, and Duan Zhao smiled strangely as he watched that, but they immediately burst out laughing.

ʼUgh! This kid stole my first kiss without my consent!ʼ Xian Xianʼs face was completely red like a ripe tomato, but she panicked when Zhang Feiʼs tongue invaded her mouth, and she didnʼt know what she should do to respond to that. She eventually closed her eyes, hugged his neck tighter, and tried to follow his kiss. ʼMhmm! Kissing a man isnʼt as bad as I thought all this time.ʼ

ʼSheʼs so old, but she has no experience in kissing at all.ʼ Zhang Fei inwardly muttered and led Xian Xian into a deeper kiss while guiding her, which she enjoyed.

After kissing for a few minutes, Zhang Fei broke off their kiss, but Xian Xian immediately jumped down from his arms and ran away like a shy rabbit. ”You stole my kiss, so you have to be responsible for me!”
