Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 782: Foxes - Demons

”You should be careful in spreading your senses, Tian Jianxia. Have you forgotten that the Phoenix Princess lives in this realm? We came here to check whether that kid is still living in this realm or not, so we better not offend her, or weʼll be in trouble.” Tian Jiyuan then spread his senses towards the southern and eastern regions, but he still couldnʼt find Zhang Fei. ”There are only a few weak people related to that kid in this realm, but I canʼt find any signs of his presence, so I think he has left this realm.”

”Where do you think he went?” Tian Dan asked. ”The last time we came here was nine months ago, and his cultivation was still at the soul realm at that time. Moreover, he was born in these lower realms, so he shouldnʼt be able to go too far, right?”

Tian Chen nodded in agreement. ”He may have gone to other planets in these lower realms, but these lower realms are too vast, and we would waste a lot of time searching for him on all planets.”

”Senior Jiyuan.” Tian Jiyuan turned to Tian Gongzhu. ”Could it be that Zhang Fei is hiding in the Netherworld Realm? Back then, he deliberately lured us into that realm, and Tian Wangzhi died there because of it.”

”Letʼs check into that realm.”

.

.

.

”Tch! A demon realm is always disgusting!” Tian Gongzhu grumbled as soon as they arrived at the Netherworld Realm. ”We—”

*Swoosh*

”Move!” Tian Jiyuan shouted as a large fireball shot towards them, and the others immediately followed him to avoid the attack.

Yan Jiang, the lava lion demon beast, appeared before them with a ferocious look. However, he smelled a familiar scent from their bodies, and he was sure that it was the same as Zhang Feiʼs. ʼAre they friends of that kid? I donʼt think theyʼre his friends, especially since they look evil.ʼ ”Who are you guys? How dare you sneak into my realm?”

”Heh.” The five of them snorted and suppressed Yan Jiangʼs bloodline directly, causing the demon beast to fall from the sky and slam into the ground with a loud bang.

ʼDamn it!ʼ Yan Jiang cursed as he tried to break free from their pressure. Although his cultivation was at the 1-Moon Divine Manifestation Realm, the power of their bloodlines was too strong for ordinary demon beasts like him. Moreover, not only one of them was suppressing him but five at once, rendering him unable to move an inch.

”Do you think you are worthy to stand in front of heavenly foxes like us? Your cultivation has indeed reached the Seven Divine Realms, but your insignificant bloodline is trash in our eyes.” Tian Jianxia then landed on Yan Jiangʼs head and pressed her foot against his head. ”Since you donʼt know your place and are trying to block us, you can die now.”

Just as Tian Jianxia was on the verge of killing Yan Jiang, hundreds of black crows unexpectedly materialized and launched a direct attack on her. She immediately abandoned her intention to kill the lion demon beast and flew away before attacking them, but her light element seemed useless against them.

Tian Jiyuan and three others moved to help Tian Jianxia get rid of the black crow, but a huge black wave pushed them back. Soon, Morgana and Oz the First appear before them, shocking them.

Tian Jiyuan and Tian Gongzhu had been to the Netherworld Realm when they were chasing Zhang Fei, so they knew that there should be no demon cultivators in that realm, yet two powerful demon cultivators suddenly appeared in front of them.

Shang Chongyun and the three others naturally felt the arrival of the five heavenly foxes, but they decided not to interfere in their affairs, and they only observed them from a great distance.

Tian Jiyuan and the others were apprehensive about the appearance of Morgana and Oz the First because they had no information about the two, and their cultivation was clearly in the Seven Divine Realm, especially since they couldnʼt detect it.

”Heavenly foxes, huh?” Morgana muttered as she looked at them one by one, and she could immediately guess that they had come to look for Zhang Fei.

Morgana turned to Oz the First, who immediately nodded and took out an interspatial communication device, causing Tian Jiyuan and the others to frown.

Oz the First disregarded their reactions and sent a long-distance message to Zhang Fei, informing him of the arrival of the five Heavenly Foxes.

”How is the result?” Oz the First informed his wife via voice transmission, and Morgana then spoke to the five. ”What are you five doing in our realm? If you canʼt explain your reason for coming here and beating up our guardian beast, I will capture all of you and imprison you in this realm.”

”Humph!” Tian Gongzhu snorted. ”Do you two think you can capture us? You—”

*Slap*

”Ahh!” Tian Gongzhu screamed as Morgana suddenly slapped her cheeks so hard, causing both of them to swell. ”You—”

”Stop it, Gongzhu.” Tian Jiyuan then spoke to them. ”I know you two are much stronger than us, but Iʼm sure you guys donʼt want to have trouble with us. If you capture us, our ancestors will send our elders to attack this realm, and all of you will be destroyed in their hands.”

Instead, Morgana shrugged her shoulders. ”Do you think we are afraid of Tian Baixing and Tian Baitian? This realm is not our home realm, and we took over this realm for a certain purpose. Thus, it doesnʼt matter to us if this realm is destroyed, and we can find another realm to replace it. On the contrary, the five of you will suffer if we imprison you all here, and you guys will turn into demon beasts as time goes by.”

Tian Jianxia looked furious at Morganaʼs threats, but she was fully aware that the five of them would never be able to stand against her and Oz the First, with such a huge difference in their cultivation.

Tian Jiyuan let out a soft sigh and said to them. ”We came here to look for someone, and your guardian beast attacked us first, so we have the right to defend ourselves, right? Since that person is not in this realm, we will leave now.”

Morgana and Oz the First didnʼt say anything or stop them, and Tian Jiyuan directly opened the gate leading to the Sky Jade Realm. He then led the others to enter, but Tian Gongzhu hatefully glared at the witch demon for some time before following them, and the gate immediately disappeared.

Yan Jiang then flew next to Morgana and Oz the First. ”Did they come here to look for Zhang Fei?”

”Zhang Fei is a heavenly fox, but he is not one of them. Instead, they are his enemies, and they hunted him to this realm several months ago.” Morgana then warned him. ”Your cultivation is indeed high, but they are mythical beasts, and not many cultivators dare to fight their elders or ancestors. Therefore, you must be careful if they come to this realm again, or you will die in their hands.”

”I know.” Yan Jiang answered with a nod, but he was furious because of how the five heavenly foxes treated him previously. ʼTch! I hope that kid will come here soon, and I will ask him to help me become stronger. When I am truly strong, I will tear apart and devour those five damn foxes.ʼ

After that, Yan Jiang returned to the dead forest again. Morgana and Oz the First returned to the demon palace, and they ordered the demon kings and queens to be fully alert, especially since there was still a possibility that the heavenly foxes would return to their realm again.

.

.

”What should we do now? Do we really have to search for Zhang Fei on all the planets in these lower realms?” Tian Jianxia asked in an irritated tone.

Tian Jiyuan sighed softly. ”We have no other choice, right? Our ancestors ordered us to search and find Zhang Feiʼs whereabouts as soon as possible, so we have to spread out and search for him on all the planets.”

”I think we should ask for more people to help us, or else we will waste too much time just looking for him.” Tian Dan spoke.

Tian Chen immediately opened the gate to their realm. ”You guys wait here, and I will return to our realm to meet our ancestors to discuss this matter. I will also report the presence of the two demons to them so they can make a decision about them.”

After Tian Chen left, Tian Gongzhu asked. ”Do any of you recognize the identities of those two demons?”

”The male demon is a celestial demon, and the abilities of his demon race are quite terrifying. Even our ancestors had to think twice about confronting them, but their race also never looked for trouble with our race.” Tian Jiyuan then thought about Morganaʼs identity. ”The crows that the female demon summoned earlier were strong, and they had resistance to the light element. However, I donʼt know for sure what her demon race is, and I feel that she is not a pure demon.”

”What do you think their purpose is to take over that realm?” This time Tian Dan asked. ”Since they know the names of our two ancestors and their cultivation has reached the Seven Divine Realms, they should be demons from the upper realms. Meanwhile, the Netherworld Realm is a demon realm in the middle realm, and there are no demon cultivators there, so I feel strange about their existence there.”

Tian Jiyuan answered him with a shake of his head. ”Just like humans, the demons have complicated problems with their own races, such as the demons of the Blackthorn Abyss Realm. Their affairs are none of our business, so we donʼt need to bother with them, and we should focus on our task of finding Zhang Fei.”

After they waited for some time, Tian Chen returned to the Sky Jade Realm again and informed them about their ancestorsʼ decision. ”The five of us must still look for Zhang Fei, and they will send some others to look for him in the middle realms.”

”The middle realm?”

”Yeah.” Tian Chen nodded at them. ”Ancestor Baixing thought that Zhang Fei might have gone there, so they decided that.”

”Letʼs go! Weʼve wasted a lot of time.” Tian Jianxia immediately flew out of the Sky Jade Realm, followed by Tian Chen and Tian Dan.

Tian Jiyuan turned to Tian Gongzhu. ”You should forget about going to the Netherworld Realm again because you are not the opponent of those two demons, and you will be the one to suffer if you fall into their hands. Additionally, we will part ways here, and I cannot protect you, so you must be careful when traveling. Although this area is the lower realms, we do not know if there are powerful cultivators hiding on other planets, so you must not act rashly. If you encounter a critical situation, you must escape immediately and return to our realm using the gate. Do you understand?”

”Yes.” Tian Jiyuan immediately shot out of the realm, but Tian Gongzhu did not right away follow him and the others. Instead, she tried to find Zhang Feiʼs whereabouts there by monitoring several other places, such as the Ye and Gu Clansʼ residences. Naturally, she could only find guards and maids in the two clans, causing her to sigh. ”I have to find that bastard quickly to take revenge for my brotherʼs death, or he will never rest in peace in the afterlife.”

Tian Gongzhu wanted to leave the realm, but a cold air suddenly enveloped her. She immediately channeled her Qi to relieve the cold, but it quickly froze her body.

Even though Tian Gongzhu was frozen, her consciousness was still awake. Feng Jinqiuʼs sudden appearance shocked her, and the ice phoenix sealed her cultivation directly. ʼShit! Why is there an ice phoenix in this realm? Isnʼt Feng Yao the one protecting this realm?ʼ

”Honestly, I have no problem with you or your heavenly fox race, but my princess asked me to help Zhang Fei, so I was forced to capture you.” Feng Jinqiuʼs words frightened Tian Gongzhu, and her worries came true as a gate opened in front of them before Zhang Fei [5] walked out of it. ”The other four searched for you in the lower realms, and their ancestors sent other foxes to the middle realms. Therefore, you must be careful, or you will be in big trouble if they manage to find you there, especially since the rules do not prevent high-level cultivators from causing trouble there.”

”Thank you for your help.” Zhang Fei [5] immediately restricted Tian Gongzhuʼs movements as soon as Feng Jinqiu melted her ice, and he also took her storage ring. ”Hehe! You didnʼt expect to fall into my hands, right? Youʼre lucky that I couldnʼt kill you, or your ancestors would have discovered my location. However, I can still make you suffer, and you will never be able to return to your race again.”

Tian Gongzhu wanted to curse Zhang Fei [5], but he immediately took her away through the gate before closing it.

Feng Jinqiu shook her head after they disappeared. ”That female fox will regret it for the rest of her life.”

.

.

.

Tian Gongzhu was horrified as soon as they arrived at the Nine Hells Darkland and saw the wandering souls circling above them, and she finally realized Zhang Fei [5]ʼs purpose in bringing her to that realm. Moreover, her cultivation was sealed, leaving her vulnerable to their influence. ”Please! Donʼt leave me in this realm! I donʼt want to become a demon!”

”Thereʼs no point in you begging me.” Zhang Fei [5] directly pulled Tian Gongzhuʼs soul out of her body, replicated it, and returned it again afterwards. She was shocked to see her soul replica, but he immediately merged it with his soul. ”You will become a demon fox soon, and you will never be able to commit suicide because your life is under my control. In addition, you will die if I die, but I will live if you die.”

As soon as Zhang Fei [5] left her, several wandering souls immediately rushed towards Tian Gongzhu, forcing her to escape from them. Unfortunately, they were too fast for her with her cultivation still sealed, and they directly entered her body and spread their negative emotions to her.

”Argh!” Tian Gongzhu screamed as she rolled on the ground while holding her head. ”No! Get out of my body! I donʼt want to become a demon!”

Tian Gongzhuʼs scream actually provoked the other wandering souls to come to her, and more and more of them entered her body, causing her mind to become increasingly filled with negative emotions.

Zhang Fei [5] watched Tian Gongzhu from a distance with an evil smile on his face. ”I want to see her desperate expression after she becomes an evil demon.”

[Wouldnʼt this be a loss for you, Master? If she becomes a demon fox, you wonʼt be able to send her back to the Heavenly Moon Realm, especially since those foxes will immediately kill her once she returns there.]

Zhang Fei [5] shook his head. ”Tian Gongzhuʼs cultivation has now reached the quasi-divine realm, but she certainly has no influence in her race. Therefore, I have no intention of sending her back there, and I will use her to lure the other foxes to come to me, especially that Tian Jiyuan. By the way, I have to think of something about those foxes looking for me in these middle realms, and I am certain that they are foxes cultivating in the Seven Divine Realms. If they manage to find my traces in the Nine Stars Realm, they will create chaos there, and those people will suffer because of me.”

[Are you thinking about moving them to another realm, master?]

Zhang Fei [5] let out a heavy sigh. ”They havenʼt appeared in the past nine months, but they suddenly appeared, so I havenʼt prepared anything to face them. Iʼll talk to my two fathers-in-law and the others first, and Iʼll decide on my plans afterward.”
