Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 787: Take Over Two Demon Kingdoms

”Xinxin, cripple those old demons.” Hong Xinxin and the others were confused by that, but Zhang Fei told them right away. ”Their demon essence has nothing to do with their cultivation.”

Hong Xinxin immediately crippled the cultivation of the Zheng Clanʼs three ancestors, plunging them into a deep state of despair. ”Done.”

”Thank you.” Zhang Fei gave a faint smirk as he looked at the three.

[Master, the demons from the Dark Demon Kingdom are starting to move towards this location.] As soon as Mei warned him, Zhang Fei turned to the others, and they immediately moved to stop the demons, forcing them to retreat.

Zhang Fei suddenly sensed a gaze directed at him from a distance, and the map showed that its owner was Ximen Gui, the demon of the Ximen Kingdom who was assigned by Ximen Changtian to protect his kingdom.

An hour later, the black demon had disappeared after Zhang Fei absorbed all its demon essence.

[You gained 25,000,000 demon essences.]

Zhang Fei sighed in disappointment, especially since the amount of demon essence he obtained was too small compared to his previous estimation. ʼHow much more essence do I need to reach the archduke rank, Mei?ʼ

[Less than one hundred million, Master.]

The three ancestors of the Zheng Clan trembled as soon as Zhang Fei looked at them with a vicious smile on his face, but their eyes widened as soon as he transformed into his lust demon lord form.

Cheng Gaoji was also shocked by Zhang Feiʼs demon identity; he then turned to Hong Xinxin and Shang Yumei. The two women simply nodded at him, assuring him that they already knew about his identity. ʼThis kid is truly abnormal! How could he have three different identities? No wonder Tian Baitian and Tian Baixing wanted to capture him, especially since the demon heavenly fox was a disgrace to their race.ʼ

Unfortunately, Cheng Gaoji misunderstood that, and the two ancestors of the heavenly fox wanted to capture Zhang Fei not because of his demon identity but because he was the main candidate to become the successor of the ten-tailed fox, which would threaten their existence.

Zhang Fei immediately tied three of his six tails to the three ancestors of the Zheng Clan, and he wasted no time in absorbing their demon essences.

Unlike the black demon, the three ancestors of the Zheng Clan were much weaker, and Zhang Fei did not need too much time to drain their demon essences dry. Even so, their total amount of demon essence exceeded that of the demon they summoned.

[You gained 30,000,000 demon essences.]

[Master, another 66 million demon essence, and your demon rank will rise to the archduke rank.]

ʼ66 million, huh?ʼ Zhang Fei then opened the gate to the Netherworld Realm. ”Yanluo, we can handle these demons ourselves, so you can return to Ju Yingzhiʼs side now.”

Given that she had been apart from Ju Yingzhi for four months, Xin Yanluo simply nodded and went straight through the gate.

”Hey, kid. How can you be a demon?” Cheng Gaoji asked once Zhang Fei returned to his human form.

”Old Cheng, I have three identities because of a mysterious little girl.” Zhang Fei told Cheng Gaoji the general outline. ”At first, I thought she lived in the Xianjin Realm, but I thought my guess was wrong, and she should live in the Paradise Realm.”

”The paradise realm?”

”Yeah.” Zhang Fei pointed to the location of the Star Tower. ”The Paradise Realm is beyond the upper realms, but we can only reach it by climbing the tower.”

”The realm beyond the upper realms does exist, huh?” Cheng Gaoji murmured as he gazed in that direction. ”Old Xia once told us about his theory regarding that realm, but we thought he was talking nonsense. We once tried to go to the edge of this universe, but we were blocked by an invisible wall. The nameless one once tried to bypass it by using his void element, but he didnʼt manage to do it, so we thought that realm didnʼt exist. Unlike us, he kept trying to prove his guess for thousands of years, but we never heard of him succeeding.”

”The invisible wall blocking you all is the void wall that protects this universe, and only cultivators with a profound understanding of the void element can pass through it.” Cheng Gaoji and Mai Xiaomeng were confused by Zhang Feiʼs answer. ”You can imagine the wall as a bottle, and this universe is inside it. There is only void outside the bottle, and this universe will disappear if it is destroyed. The nameless one has the void element, but his understanding isnʼt deep enough to bypass it. Furthermore, ten mythical ancient beasts guard the place behind the wall.”

”Ten mythical ancient beasts?”

”Yeah.” Zhang Fei nodded at them. ”I donʼt know anything about those beasts yet, but I got information about them from someone from the Paradise Realm, and I met him at the Star Tower. Anyways, letʼs talk about this matter later, and we will take over the Dark Demon Kingdom first.”

When they arrived at the kingdom, Ximen Yan was already waiting for them in front of the royal palace along with two old demons. He immediately greeted Zhang Fei with great respect, especially since he was his slave.

Zhang Fei looked at the two old demons. ”Who are they?”

”Master, they are my fatherʼs confidants, Ximen Qing and Ximen Hong. I have already given them the pills you gave me, and they are completely loyal to me now.” Ximen Yan respectfully replied.

”I see.” Zhang Fei nodded in understanding and led the others into the royal palace, followed by Ximen Yan and the two old demons.

On the way to the throne room, the demons of the kingdom kept watching Zhang Fei and the others with great fear, especially since the aura of some of them was more powerful than their emperorʼs and empressʼs.

Before long, they arrived at the throne room, and there were dozens of demons waiting for them inside. Zhang Fei casually stood in front of the throne and looked at them one by one, and he did not forget to check their strength. To his surprise, the demons were too weak compared to the Zheng Clan members, and only the two old demons had significant strength. ʼZheng Moyue deliberately limited their strength, huh? No wonder she and her clan held full control over this kingdom, and Ximen Gongfu was just their puppet.ʼ ”Ximen Yan, I want you to clear out the remaining demons from your motherʼs clan.”

”Yes, Master.” Ximen Yan turned to Ximen Qing and Ximen Hong, who immediately left the room to carry out Zhang Feiʼs orders. ”What about the Ximen Kingdom, Master? Are you going to take over it?”

”Yeah.” After he gave some other instructions to Ximen Yan, Zhang Fei led Cheng Gaoji and the two women to the Ximen Kingdom.

When they arrived, Ximen Gui was already waiting for them in front of the palace. Although his expression looked calm, he was tense in his heart because he had witnessed how Cheng Gaoji razed the Zheng Clan to the ground in just one attack.

Shang Yumeiʼs lips curled upwards as she observed Ximen Guiʼs expression. ʼThis old demon was smart enough not to attack us, and he also stopped the other demons from this kingdom from approaching us.ʼ

Hong Xinxin, Mai Xiaomeng, and Cheng Gaoji also thought the same as Shang Yumei. Moreover, Ximen Gui was no less powerful than the three ancestors of the Zheng Clan, so it would be a shame if he had to die at Zhang Feiʼs hands.

Zhang Fei walked to Ximen Guiʼs side and patted him on the shoulder. ”I know you are a powerful demon, and I need someone like you by my side. Moreover, you have witnessed our actions before, so you should already know our strength, right?”

”What do you want from us?” Ximen Gui asked.

”This realm has been in chaos for hundreds of years, and I want to stop it all once and for all.” Zhang Fei embraced Ximen Guiʼs shoulders and led him into the palace. ”The five human kingdoms are under my banner now, and I also have favorable relations with the Beast and Natural Race Kingdoms. The Zheng Clan has been destroyed, and I use Ximen Yan to control the Dark Demon Kingdom, so only this kingdom is left.”

Ximen Gui was inwardly shocked as he listened to Zhang Fei. ”Are you also going to destroy this kingdom?”

”Everything depends on Ximen Changtian and Nu Huangjin.” Ximen Gui raised his eyebrows as he turned to Zhang Fei. ”If they are willing to submit to me and stop causing chaos in this realm, I will not take over this kingdom, and they can continue to lead this kingdom under my banner.”

Ximen Gui felt a little relieved hearing that. ”Unfortunately, the two of them are in the Star Tower right now, and I donʼt know when they will return.”

”I know.” Zhang Fei then looked at the two men walking towards them, but one of them frowned. ”If you donʼt want to die, you better not think about doing anything stupid, Ximen Hongwu.”

”You—”

”Stop it, Big Brother.” Ximen Yueliang stopped her brother. ”Even Grandpa Gui doesnʼt dare fight them, so youʼll only die in vain if you fight them.”

”Hehe.” Zhang Fei chuckled. ”How do you feel after swallowing my pills and Yang Qi for the last four months, Princess? Are you satisfied with the results?”

Ximen Hongwu turned to his little sister with a shocked look. He did not expect that Ximen Yueliang had such a relationship with Zhang Fei, and he was even willing to swallow his Yang Qi.

”Our relationship is not what you think, Big Brother.” Ximen Yueliang then told Ximen Hongwu about Zhang Feiʼs actions toward her and Ximen Yan in the survival challenge. ”I managed to survive our cousin because of him, and I immediately gave up the challenge after that. However, he planted something in my soul, so I couldnʼt fight him.”

”Bastard!” Ximen Hongwu dashed toward Zhang Fei, but the demon extermination sword suddenly appeared and flew towards him. The sword instantly pierced through his right chest, forced him backward, and nailed him to the wall. ”Argh!”

Ximen Gui wanted to move, but Hong Xinxin immediately restricted his movements, immobilizing him.

Zhang Fei quickly moved in front of Ximen Hongwu and sealed his cultivation. He then grabbed the hilt of his sword and pressed it deeper. ”Argh!”

Ximen Yueliang panicked upon seeing that and immediately begged him. ”Zhang Fei! Please! Donʼt kill my big brother!”

Zhang Fei paid no attention to Ximen Yueling and coldly stared at Ximen Hongwu, who looked in so much pain. ”I told you not to do anything stupid, right?”

”Please! Spare my big brother, Zhang Fei.” Ximen Yueliang tried to beg again. ”You can do anything to him, but donʼt kill him.”

Zhang Fei immediately pressed his palm against Ximen Hongwuʼs chest and implanted his demon slave mark into his soul, but he left his memories intact.

”Argh!” Ximen Hongwu screamed in pain as soon as Zhang Fei pulled the demon extermination sword out of his shoulder, causing black blood to flow from his right shoulder.

Ximen Yueliang was relieved that Zhang Fei didnʼt kill Ximen Hongwu, but she realized that her big brotherʼs fate was not much different from Ximen Yan, and he had become his slave. ”Thank you.”

ʼBastard! Iʼll—ʼ ”Argh!” Ximen Hongwu fell to the ground and rolled around in pain as he had evil intentions toward Zhang Fei, which was the result of his demon slave mark in his soul. ”Argh! Bastard! I will kill you! Argh!”

”Haha.” Zhang Fei simply laughed at that and led the others to go to the throne room. Ximen Gui could only follow them resignedly, especially since Hong Xinxin still restricted his movements.

Ximen Yueliang felt pain seeing Ximen Hongwu in such a condition. ”Big brother! Throw that thought out of your mind, or you will continue to be tormented like this! He has implanted his mark into your soul, so you will never be able to do anything to him. Furthermore, the four people by his side were much more powerful than our parents and Grandpa Gui, capable of destroying our kingdom with ease.

Even though he was still furious with Zhang Fei, Ximen Hongwu realized that his little sisterʼs words were true. He quickly calmed himself down and cleared his mind, causing the pain in his body to swiftly subside. ”Hah... Hah....”

”Phew.” Ximen Yueliang immediately lifted her big brother to his feet. ”I donʼt know what he has planned for us, but we should follow them now.”

Zhang Fei was already sitting in the throne room as he looked at Ximen Gui, Ximen Yueliang, and Ximen Hongwu. Shang Yumei then asked him. ”What are your plans now?”

Instead, Zhang Fei turned to Mai Xiaomeng. ”I want you to go to the Star Tower now, and my clone will meet you there.”

”Eh? What do you want to do?” Mai Xiaomeng asked in confusion.

Zhang Fei pointed at Ximen Yueliang and Ximen Hongwu. ”I will ask the old man to expel their parents from the tower, so I want you to bring them here afterward.”

”Oh! All right, Iʼll go there straight away.”

”Haha.” Hong Xinxin laughed after Mai Xiaomeng disappeared. ”Are you going to continue ignoring her? She really wants to get close to you, and sheʼs willing to do anything for you to do so.”

”I donʼt want to think about her for now, and weʼll see how it goes in the future.” Zhang Fei then observed the entire area of the realm through the map. ʼSigh! I hope those foxes wonʼt find me here too soon.ʼ

Sometime later, Mai Xiaomeng had returned to the Ximen Demon Kingdom. She brought Ximen Changtian and Nu Huangjin, who were still in shock.

They were still fighting with the beasts in the Star Tower, but they were suddenly expelled from there. Before they could react, Mao Xiaomeng suddenly appeared in front of them and sealed their cultivation, and they were now in their kingdom.

”Father! Mother!” Ximen Yueliang shouted as she approached them. ”Are you two okay?”

”Yueliang, what happened here?” Ximen Yueling shook her head at Nu Huanjing and pointed at Zhang Fei, causing her to frown.

Ximen Changtian also looked at Zhang Fei, who was casually sitting on his throne. ”What do you want from us?”

”Submit to me or be destroyed.” Zhang Feiʼs answer made Ximen Changtian and Nu Huanjing frown, but they then looked at Mai Xiaomeng and the others. ”Zheng Clan has been destroyed, and the Dark Demon Kingdom is mine now. Ximen Gongfu and Zheng Moyue are still alive, but they will die soon. If you two do not want to suffer the same fate as them, you must think carefully about your choices.”

Ximen Gui immediately spoke to Ximen Changtian. ”Emperor, if they wanted to destroy us, they could have done it so long ago. I witnessed them destroy the Zheng Clan in a single blow, proving that we were no match for them.”

”Grandpa Gui is right, Father.” Ximen Yueliang joined in. ”Zhang Fei has enslaved Ximen Yan for a long time, and he is helping him to control the Dark Demon Kingdom. Moreover, all the kingdoms in this realm, including the Beast and Natural Race Kingdoms, were also on his side.”

”I see.” Ximen Changtian nodded in understanding before speaking to Zhang Fei. ”Since the beginning of your appearance in this realm, I have guessed that you are not ordinary cultivators, and the four of them are cultivators from the upper realm, right?”

”Thatʼs right.” Zhang Fei nodded to him. ”So what is your decision? As long as you submit to me, you and all the demons under you can live freely in this realm, and the other kingdoms will never bother you again. If you guys prove your loyalty to me, I will make you all stronger, and I will take you to the upper realms. However, I hate traitors the most, and I will eliminate all of you if you dare to betray me.”

Ximen Changtian turned to Nu Huangjin, who nodded at him. ”All right, we will submit to you.”
