Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 758: Two People Fight

Zhang Fei, Hong Xinin, and Jin Ruyue were already not far from the Ren Clan, waiting for Fei Qinyuan, who was getting closer to the clan.

”What exactly are you planning to do to them?” Jin Ruyue asked Zhang Fei.

Zhang Fei just smiled and didnʼt tell her anything. ”Be patient, and youʼll find out once Fei Qinyuan arrives at the Ren Clan.”

Fifteen minutes later, Fei Qinyuan had arrived at the Ren Clan, but he didnʼt go inside right away. Instead, she checked the surrounding area of the clan with her senses to make sure, and she entered it after finding nothing suspicious.

”You guys wait here, and Iʼll sneak in.”

Jin Ruyue wanted to stop Zhang Fei, but he had already disappeared before she could. ”How could he disappear like that?”

”Thatʼs one of his unique abilities, and he still has many other unique abilities.” Jin Ruyue frowned because Hong Xinxin was too secretive. ”Whether you believe it or not, no cultivator in this realm can catch him; even Grandpa Yan canʼt keep up with his speed, let alone other cultivators.”

”Does his speed really surpass Yan Liebao? How did he train his speed to be that fast?”

”Zhang Feiʼs speed is already much faster than my grandfatherʼs even before he uses his wind element, and his speed will be even faster if he uses it.” Hong Xinxinʼs answer shocked Jin Ruyue because she knew that the Yan clan was one of the fastest clans in the upper realms, and only two other clans could surpass them. ”Honestly, I still donʼt know how he was able to train his speed to that fast, but Iʼm willing to bet that the people from the Lei Clan wonʼt be able to catch up to him either. Perhaps the only person who can match his speed is the Nameless One, especially with his void element.”

All of this made Jin Ruyue feel that Zhang Fei was too mysterious, and she found it difficult to gauge his depth. ”How could you be interested in him? Werenʼt you madly in love with Shang Guangming back then?”

”Haha.” Hong Xinxin had no intention of telling her the truth, so she made up a story. ”I donʼt know how to say it, but I was attracted to him at first sight. Iʼve spent a few months with him to guide him on the body cultivation path, and Iʼm determined to be his wife now.”

”Love and feelings are always strange and difficult to understand.” Jin Ruyue said with a faint smile on her face. ”The first time I met my late husband, I immediately fell in love with him. We didnʼt date for too long, and we got married a month after we met. Unfortunately, his talent in cultivation was too low, and he died of old age because his cultivation was stuck in the ten mortal realms.”

”At least you guys lived happily for several thousand years, so thereʼs nothing for you to regret, right?”

Jin Ruyue nodded in agreement. ”Even though we couldnʼt be together longer, I am completely delighted with our time together for several thousand years, and our memories will always remain in my heart forever. Hey! They are already gathered in the main hall, so letʼs eavesdrop on them.”

”Yeah.”

Ren Dongcheng was annoyed by Fei Qinyuanʼs visit, especially since Shang Ziyuan had come to see him two months ago, and he had firmly refused to join their Shang Clan.

”If you came here to persuade me to join you, you can go back to your clan right now.” Fei Qinyuan wanted to interrupt Ren Dongcheng, but the old man hurriedly continued. ”I have no interest in joining people with too much ambition like you and your husband, and I have no interest in joining the Hong Clan either. I only want a quiet and peaceful life for my clan members, so I decided to join the Huo Clan. Moreover, Huo Jiguang has a favorable relationship with Tian Shuixiang and Lin Jingxia, so joining them is our best choice, and my son is discussing it with him now.”

ʼI didnʼt expect this old bastard had already made up his mind to join the Huo Clan! If I fail to draw the Ren and Jin Clan to our side, our sideʼs strength will not be able to match the Xi Clan, and Xi Hongyan will definitely attack us one day.ʼ Fei Qinyuan then asked Ren Dongcheng. ”How can I change your mind?”

”Are you and Shang Huaqiang able to supply us with the best pills, potions, and elixirs like the Huo Clan?” Ren Dongchengʼs mocking question caused Fei Qinyuan to frown. ”Heh! Tian Shuixiang and Lin Jingxia are the best alchemists in this universe, and your Shang Clan has no relationship with them. Therefore, you can go back to your clan and donʼt waste my time, especially since I will never change my mind about joining the Huo Clan.”

Fei Qinyuan was completely furious and exerted her cultivation straight away, causing Ren Dongcheng to tremble in shock, forcing him to jump away from her. ʼFuck! This bitchʼs cultivation has already broken through to the 2-Moon Divine Ascendant.ʼ

”I came here to speak nicely to you, but you kept mocking me since earlier.” A blue sword immediately appeared in Fei Qinyuanʼs hand. ”Since you canʼt speak nicely, I will force you to submit to us.”

ʼShit! This bitch has gone mad!ʼ Ren Dongcheng immediately took out a guandao and summoned his clan members to surround Fei Qinyuan. ”You are indeed stronger than me by one level, but you are in my clan now, and I will not allow you to act tyrannically here.”

*Drap... Drap...*

Quickly, several groups of men from the Ren Clan had surrounded the main hall, and some of them moved inside and stood behind Ren Dongcheng while holding their respective weapons.

”Do you think you guys can stop me?” A blue aura quickly enveloped Fei Qinyuanʼs body, and her aura instantly spread out, suppressing the Ren Clan people.

*Bam... Bam...*

Fei Qinyuanʼs aura caused some of them to fall, and others supported their bodies with their weapons. Their bodies were shaking, and sweat began to wet their clothes.

Ren Dongcheng directly fought back against Fei Qinyuanʼs pressure with his own, but he couldnʼt fully dispel it, and his people still felt pressured by her. ”Even if I have to die by your hands today, my son and family will attack your Shang Clan with the help of the Huo Clan, and you will understand how terrifying Huo Jiguang is.”

”Heh!” Fei Qinyuan snorted and wanted to attack Ren Dongcheng, but she suddenly inhaled something unusual, which caused her Qi and aura to become chaotic. ʼWhat the hell is this? Why did my Qi suddenly become like this?ʼ

Ren Dongcheng noticed Fi Qinyuanʼs reaction and wanted to move to attack him first, but smoke suddenly entered the main hall and quickly filled it, which made it difficult for him and his men to control themselves.

However, the smoke did not affect Fei Qinyuan, and it only affected Ren Dongcheng and the other men. In a few seconds, the sclera of their eyes turned red, as if they were berserk.

ʼWhat the hell with this smoke? This is bad! This smoke makes them like that!ʼ Without thinking twice, Fei Qinyuan immediately ran out, but Ren Dongcheng and his subordinates right away attacked her like madmen.

Even though her Qi was still chaotic, Fei Qinyuan was still able to easily knock the people from the Ren Clan back, but Ren Dongcheng rushed over and swung his guandao towards her back.

Sensing that, Fei Qinyuan spun around and parried Ren Dongchengʼs guandao, but his brute force was stronger than hers due to her chaotic Qi, pushing her back several steps.

ʼShit!ʼ Fei Qinyuan inwardly cursed, realizing that Ren Dongcheng was clearly not himself, and his killing intent was already controlling him. She immediately turned around and ran away, and she took out her returning jade to return to the Shang Clan straight away.

Fei Qinyuan panicked when her jade vanished from her grasp before she could break it, as Ren Dongcheng and his subordinates pursued her relentlessly. Additionally, more people from the Ren Clan surrounded her after hearing the commotion, and they immediately helped their patriarch and other members.

ʼI have to escape as soon as possible, or I will die in their hands.ʼ Fei Qinyuan tried hard to stabilize her Qi as she paved her way to escape from the Ren clan by attacking the people who stood in her way, leaving most of them seriously injured. She also contacted her husband, but Shang Huaqiang was busy discussing with his ancestors.

Fei Qinyuan suddenly felt Ren Dongcheng dart toward her from behind with intense killing intent. She immediately took out an artifact and threw it at him, but it also disappeared on its own. ʼFuck! I bet someone did this to us on purpose! That person definitely wants us to kill each other!ʼ

*Clang*

Ren Dongchengʼs guandao hit the ground as Fei Qinyuan dodged it, which made him even more furious, and his killing intent became even more terrifying.

Fei Qinyuan continued to run forward while attacking everyone in front of her without caring about Ren Dongcheng, who was chasing behind her with his eyes even redder than before. When she arrived not far from the gate, she was frustrated because the gate suddenly closed by itself, forcing her to use her chaotic Qi to fly, which had a detrimental effect on her.

Just as Fei Qinyuan was sure that she could escape from the place, she felt someone grab her right leg and restrain her movement, giving Ren Dongcheng the chance to leap toward her and slash his guandao at her back.

”Argh!” Fei Qinyuan screamed in pain after being hit by Ren Dongchengʼs attack, and blood flowed profusely from her deep wound, soaking the back of her dress.

Ren Dongchengʼs subordinates immediately charged toward Fei Qinyuan to kill her, but the hand holding her right leg suddenly let go of her leg. She swiftly flew away as fast as possible, leaving the Ren Clan with heavy injuries on her back.

Meanwhile, Ren Dongcheng and his subordinates were bounced back, but an artificial forest immediately appeared and trapped them inside, with many tree roots binding their bodies. They immediately destroyed those roots and tried to break out, but they kept regenerating until the forest spread throughout the residence, turning the residence into a forest.

Zhang Fei, who was hiding in the invisible states, smiled with satisfaction when he saw the situation of the people from the Ren Clan. He immediately burned a bunch of herbs and directed the smoke towards those people using his wind element to neutralize the effects of his other herbs that caused them to go berserk, and he immediately returned to Hong Xinxin and Jin Ruyue afterwards.

Zhang Fei then led the two women to chase after Fei Qinyuan, who was struggling to fly away from the city. Unlike Hong Xinxin, who already knew quite a lot about him, especially his demon identity, Jin Ruyue was completely astonished by all his actions in the Ren Clan.

Far ahead of them, Fei Qinyuan was repeatedly looking back to check whether Ren Dongcheng and his subordinates were chasing her or not. She felt relieved after she couldnʼt find them behind her, and she immediately looked for a place to hide and stop her bleeding, especially since the wound on her back was so deep. ”Damn it! Who actually wants to pit me against those damn people? Iʼm sure that person caused my Qi to become chaotic, and he or she also caused those idiots to become berserk. Moreover, he or she also snatched my returning jade and restrained my movements, causing me to suffer serious injuries.”

After she had flown quite far from the city, Fei Qinyuan landed on the edge of a cliff with a flowing river and a waterfall at the end. She immediately fell to her knees and breathed heavily, especially since she had overexerted herself using her chaotic Qi.

Meanwhile, Zhang Fei and the two women landed a little far from Fei Qinyuan and hid their presence behind the dense trees on the other side of the river.

After her breathing stabilized enough, Fei Qinyuan immediately took two kinds of pills and swallowed them. She finally got a reply from Shang Huaqiang, so she gave him the coordinates of her location and asked him to pick her up as quickly as possible, as she was worried that Ren Dongcheng and his people would come after her again.

After hearing that, Shang Huaqiang immediately left the Shang Clan and flew at high speed towards the northern region to save his wife, and he also brought several powerful cultivators from his clan to take revenge on Ren Dongcheng and his Ren Clan.

After that, Fei Qinyuan walked towards the river and took off her dress, leaving her naked. She cleaned her wound first before she could apply ointment to treat it. ”Sigh! I hope my husband gets here soon, or Iʼll be in trouble if Ren Dongcheng manages to find me, and Iʼll definitely die by his hands.”

After the wound was clean, Fei Qinyuan painstakingly began to apply ointment to the wound on her back, causing her to repeatedly grimace and groan in pain.

A few minutes later, Fei Qinyuan had finished treating her wounds and putting on her spare dress. She then sat on the side of a big tree with her back slightly leaning against it, and she thought about the incident in the Ren Clan previously. ”Who exactly is that mysterious person? Could it be someone from the Hong Clan? Hong Quan is an upright man, so Iʼm sure he would never use such a sneaky method. Perhaps that person is a member of the Xi Clan, especially since Xi Hongyan is famous for using sneaky methods to bring down her opponents. Unfortunately, her group is already too big with all the clans in the western region forced to submit to her, so we cannot attack them rashly.”

While she was thinking about all that, Fei Qinyuan was suddenly hit by extreme drowsiness, and she finally fell asleep despite her efforts to fight her drowsiness.

Zhang Fei then brought the two women to land in front of Fei Qinyuan, but Jin Ruyue immediately took out a dagger to kill her.

Zhang Fei immediately stopped her. ”Donʼt be rash! She is not our only enemy, but we still have to face Shang Huaqiang and his Shang Clan. If you kill her now, he will immediately lead his clan members to attack this region. Moreover, he still has Shang Yanhan and Shang Yanjun behind him, and those two men are too strong for us.”

”Youʼre right.” Jin Ruyue immediately put away her dagger again. ”So, what should we do with this woman?”

”She is a soul cultivator, and her cultivation and soul power are still too high for me, so I canʼt do much to her.” Zhang Fei then squatted in front of Fei Qinyuan and took out a bottle containing a clear liquid. ”I made this liquid using the Serpentʼs Kiss Flower, and its poison has no odor, so she and Shang Huaqiang wonʼt notice it.”

”What effect does it have?”

Zhang Fei explained to them directly. ”It will cause internal organ failure, and its poison is not easy to neutralize, so she and Shang Huaqiang will suffer for quite a while, giving us plenty of time to better prepare our group.”

”Why donʼt you use a stronger poison on her?”

”Do you want to destroy your clan?” Zhang Fei then smeared the liquid on Fei Qinyuanʼs lips and some other parts of her body, and he also did a few things to her. ”They have Shang Yanhan and Shang Yanjun behind them, and the two old men will attack us immediately if they die too quickly. Since she was injured in this region, the two of them will attack the clans in this region first, including your Jin Clan.”

”No.” Jin Ruyue replied with a shake of her head. ”In that case, letʼs use your plan.”
