CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 2047: Chapter 2055: Twelve

For some girls, it seems that the more people like her and secretly love her, to her, it’s an honor, and also a way to satisfy her vanity.

But for some people.

For example, like Jane Sampson, perhaps, Jane Sampson never thought about letting anyone have such feelings for her.

She can’t reciprocate, and others’ efforts are a heavy burden for her.

Perhaps it is also because of this understanding that Kane Forest doesn’t dare to let anyone discover the feelings in his heart, and James Black also never mentioned these to Jane Sampson when she wasn’t home yet.

The fear was that she might get flustered due to this matter, overthink, feel unwell, and it would affect the subsequent arrangements.

Of course, Peter Gingery thinks that James Black’s jealousy is definitely not negligible.

”Thank you for coming to see my brother, I know your troop is busy, and with Jane being murdered, the Black Family is also busy. Don’t worry, we are looking after everything here at the hospital. These days, you attend to your matters first. When it’s time for Jane’s funeral, send me a message on WhatsApp to let me know. Then, Jasmine Seven and I will come to send her off for the last time.”

Alexander Forest saw Peter Gingery to the elevator entrance, ”Also, when Jane Sampson was alive, she loved her younger brother Bright Sampton the most, and Bright Sampton was also faultless in his affection for her as a sister. Now that Jane Sampson is gone, apart from your family, the most pained person would be Bright Sampson. Plus, the Sampton Family is in such a state now, so when you have time, spend more time with Bright Sampson. That kid is younger than all of us and needs someone to guide his emotions properly.”

Peter Gingery mumbled to himself, Alexander Forest is really concerned about so much.

However, these thoughts, he didn’t voice out, after all, the reason Alexander Forest is worrying so much is also because, with Jane Sampson gone, he is helping to care for her family, so Peter Gingery is quite grateful to him on Jane Sampson’s behalf. After leaving the hospital, Peter Gingery went straight to the Black Residence. It wasn’t until very late that he went out with Old Master Black to repeat what they did yesterday, going to the airport to pick up Bright Sampton.

Halfway there, Peter Gingery was checking Twitter on his mobile phone while talking to Old Master Black, asking about the progress on James Black’s side.

”It’s been a day, has my brother sent any messages back?” Peter Gingery asked.

Old Master Black shook his head, ”No news has reached me here for now. It might still need some time to wait, but within this one day, as many as twelve corpses have been dug up from that villa.”

The number twelve brings tears to the eyes of those who hear it.

It’s not just a number, but twelve vibrant human lives.

”Currently, the forensic doctor over there concludes that all twelve bodies are female. The longest burial time is approximately four years ago. The youngest victim’s age is around thirteen, and the oldest is not yet thirty. These are the corpses that the police have dug up so far, and there are still some more being dug up.”

The villa is large, and the fresh flowers all around the garden are blooming splendidly, even some trees appear greener than those elsewhere.

Because the police force is limited, the task of digging up the corpses can only be carried out one area at a time.

So far, two-thirds of the garden has been turned over, and already twelve corpses have been unearthed.

And these bodies buried in the garden as flower fertilizer were quite casually buried. They just dug a pit and threw them in to bury. Over the years, there might be two people in one pit, or one person’s upper body with another layer of earth below where it’s another person’s lower body.
