CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 2039: Chapter 2047: Going Back

”When you go back, listen well, eat well.” James Black’s palm rubbed Jane Sampson’s back of the head, ”Don’t make yourself thinner, understand?”

Jane Sampson nodded forcefully and hummed, and the person who was hiding also came out, glanced at the couple, and said, ”The car to pick up sister-in-law is arriving soon, I’ll take her downstairs first.”

James Black let go of Jane Sampson’s hand, gently pushed her toward the direction outside the door, nodded, and said quietly to her, ”Go home.”

After saying this, he raised his hand and made a waving gesture towards Jane Sampson. Seeing Jane Sampson turning her head to look at him, he smiled at her. A very faint smile appeared on his face, meaning that after sending Jane Sampson away, he could calmly continue to execute the increasingly dangerous mission.

”I’m leaving.” Jane Sampson gritted her teeth, turned her head, and followed the person downstairs.

The person in front walked quickly, and Jane Sampson kept pace without lagging behind.

Outside the main gate, a luxury car was parked. The person pulled the car door open and swiftly pushed Jane Sampson into the car, then quickly got in himself.

The moment the car door closed, the car started promptly and drove forward.

Jane Sampson looked out the window and saw a figure at the room window.

It was James Black, standing there watching her leave.

At this moment, Jane Sampson regretted thinking she should have hugged him before she left.

”Sister-in-law, don’t worry, our big boss is really capable.” The person next to her, seeing Jane Sampson wistfully looking outside the window, tried to comfort her, ”In no time, the big boss will finish this mission and return.”

In such a residential community, a luxury car traveling on the nighttime road wasn’t conspicuous at all. The car carried Jane Sampson smoothly out of the community and headed straight to the airport.

James Black stood upstairs watching as the car took Jane Sampson further and further away until it was out of sight before hurriedly going downstairs.

Although Jane Sampson left, the things that needed to be done still had to be done.

James Black, just in case, took the shovel and dug a little in the garden, flipping the soil.

But upon flipping, James Black’s mood truly started to become cold.

Previously, he heard from that young man that many people were buried in the garden as fertilizer, at first, James Black really did not take it seriously.

Even though James Black knew the young man had many lives on his hands, he really didn’t expect there would be bodies buried in the garden like this.

The shovel dug less than a meter deep, and the turned soil emitted a rancid smell. Continuing to dig, he suddenly uncovered a section of white human bone, which seemed to have been buried here for not less than a year.

No wonder the corner’s flowers and grass grew particularly lush.

James Black filled the soil back, returned the shovel to its place, and stood in the courtyard, lighting and smoking a cigarette.

He needed to calm down.

In a few days, when the police come and take control of this place, they’ll know exactly how many lives are buried in this courtyard.

——

After leaving the villa district, Jane Sampson headed straight to the airport. Upon arrival, she went through a special passageway, the car drove directly in, stopping right under a helicopter.

Before getting out of the car, the driver took a bag from the front seat and gave it to Jane Sampson, reminding her, ”Put on the coat, wear the hood, mask, and sunglasses, temporarily take off any identifying items, don’t let people recognize you through what you wear.”
