CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 2043: Chapter 2051: Get to the Point

Peter Gingery rolled his eyes at Jane Sampson, clearly displeased with her using the term mother-in-lawish to describe him.

”You wanted me to talk, so here it goes.” Peter Gingery snorted, ”President Forest was shot three times, later urgently transferred to the Capital Province Hospital, and he hasn’t returned from the ghost gate yet, still in a coma.”

”President Forest got shot?” Jane Sampson almost fell off the bed, ”What happened? Who did it? How come he was shot just like that?”

From Jane Sampson’s tone and expression, Peter Gingery knew that Jane Sampson wasn’t aware that President Forest, to take revenge for her, went alone to confront the kidnappers.

This news is currently under lockdown, and the outside news media aren’t aware of it. The Forest Clan Group claimed publicly that President Forest was on an international business trip these days.

However, Peter Gingery thought, James Black should know about this.

Peter Gingery didn’t quite understand why James Black hadn’t told Jane Sampson?

”Why are you staring at me? Just tell me what’s going on!” Jane Sampson was very anxious, pushing Peter Gingery, ”What’s actually happening with President Forest?”

Nowadays, firearms control is very strict. President Forest is a businessman, and Jane Sampson couldn’t figure out why President Forest got shot just like that.

”Because of you.” Peter Gingery sighed, ”Although I don’t know why Brother didn’t tell you, I think it’s better for you to know about this.”

Seeing Jane Sampson’s baffled face, Peter Gingery sighed.

To be honest, even before this happened, even Peter Gingery, even Alexander Forest and the rest, didn’t see that Kane Forest had always liked Jane Sampson.

”After the Public Security Announcement about your supposed death, President Forest believed it. When Bright Sampton went to claim the remains, Kane Forest secretly followed, and later met that paparazzi, from whom he got information about your kidnappers, then that evening, he went alone with a special iron rod to the pub where the kidnappers frequently went to confront that kidnapper.”

Peter Gingery said, ”Originally, with Kane Forest’s physical abilities and the special iron rod he brought, even if he wanted to kill that kidnapper, it wouldn’t be a problem. But Kane Forest didn’t expect that the kidnapper was carrying a gun. The kidnapper, after being hit on the waist by Kane Forest, realized and drew his gun, and in a moment of crisis, fired three shots at Kane Forest, each bullet hitting critical areas.”

”Jane, because of what happened to you, President Forest nearly went mad, lost his rationality, and was willing to sacrifice everything to personally avenge you. First, he spent ten million to buy a piece of information, then, doing unscrupulous things like digging up graves to threaten that paparazzi for information on the kidnappers, reckless and desperate to avenge you.”

At this point, Peter Gingery sneaked a glance at Jane Sampson, witnessing her expression of sheer shock, just like when he first heard about these things.

For a while, Peter Gingery finally said, ”President Forest likes you, and it’s that strong kind of liking, so strong that hearing about your alleged death made him impulsive, like a madman; do you know? After he was injured, he still sent an email to the police exposing the kidnappers, and left a final message to a good friend of his.”

Although Peter Gingery didn’t continue further, Jane Sampson inexplicably felt that the message Kane Forest left might be related to her.

Sure enough, Peter Gingery went on to reveal the content of the last message.
