Chapter 2033: Chapter 2041: What Female Ring

Regarding Kane Forest being injured and sent to the surgery room for emergency treatment, everyone in the Forest Family had the exact same initial reaction as Alexander Forest.

Kane’s father, upon hearing what Alexander said, his first reaction was to open his mouth to refute it, thinking it was impossible, and felt that Alexander, the nephew, was being cheeky, trying to make fun of his elder uncle, and was planning to reprimand Alexander properly.

But as Alexander spoke more in detail and more urgently, Kane’s father had no choice but to take this absurd news seriously.

Just when Alexander was discussing with the family about whether or not to call the police, the police had already knocked on Jack Yummy’s office door.

Jack Yummy led the way.

”Jack?” Alexander was momentarily stunned, looking at the few police officers coming in, he wasn’t sure what was happening and thought maybe Jack had gone out and, without waiting for him to make a decision, had already called the police on his behalf.

But then again, even if Jack had gone out and called the police, it’s only been two to three minutes, the police couldn’t have arrived so quickly.

”Don’t look at me, I’m as baffled as you are.” Jack waved his hand at Alexander, ”Your brother sent an email to the police, delivering the evidence he’d found.”

Captain Carpenter walked over to Alexander and said, ”After receiving the email, we looked into it and realized something happened to Mr. Forest, who was being resuscitated in the hospital, so we came over to check on Mr. Forest’s condition.”

Captain Carpenter’s main purpose for coming was still to confirm that last night, it was Kane Forest’s sudden action that hurt someone.

Over the phone, Kane’s father got the gist and then asked Alexander to cooperate with the police while the seniors booked flight tickets to hurry over.

Alexander agreed, then hung up the phone, asking an unnecessary question, ”When did my brother send you the email?”

”Calculating the time, it should be about ten plus minutes before Mr. Forest entered the hospital,” Captain Carpenter said, ”We also found out that indeed a ten million transfer was made from your brother’s private account today.”

”How exactly did my brother determine who killed little Jane? Did he mention it in the email?” Alexander asked more, this was something he always wanted to know.

”Someone took Mr. Forest’s ten million using a clue that pointed directly to that paparazzi who was sent to the police station by Jane and her friends in the hotel back then. Early this morning, your brother went to the police station to see that paparazzi alone. Your brother threatened the paparazzi with a female ring found at the paparazzi’s house to get the murderer’s information from him.”

Captain Carpenter said, ”The paparazzi had been in a stakeout for several days, preparing to take photos of Jane’s news, and just in time, he also encountered the murderer tracking Jane, so he also took photos of the murderer. Later, the murderer found out about the paparazzi and used money to buy all the photos the paparazzi had about him. That paparazzi had some mental issues, and after being caught, no matter how he was interrogated, he stubbornly refused to reveal anything about the murderer.”

”Female ring?” Jack Yummy asked a follow-up question, ”What female ring?”

”The engagement ring of the deceased fiancée of the paparazzi. Mr. Forest, he... cough cough...” At this point, Captain Carpenter found it difficult to continue and glanced at Alexander, then continued, ”Mr. Forest threatened that if the paparazzi didn’t tell him who kidnapped Jane, he would have someone dig up his fiancée’s grave and feed her ashes to a dog.”

As a result, to such a threat, it actually cracked open the mouth of the hard-headed person.
