Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 435: Three Death Gods (Bonus)

”Letʼs begin the discussion.”

Surprisingly, the Pope raised his hand, stopping Vivian from continuing. ”Please wait. We are still thirty minutes too early.”

”Huh?” The other sovereigns couldnʼt help but notice why he did this.

”Iʼm sorry, but he has never come to a meeting like this. Is there a need for us to wait?”

”Just a basic courtesy.” The Pope waved his hand. ”Iʼm sorry, but I donʼt think itʼs fair to start the conference even if he doesnʼt come. He still has the potential to come, so letʼs wait for another thirty minutes.”

The Pope ultimately glanced at Vivian.

Vivian nodded. ”I understand. Weʼll wait for another thirty minutes and officially start the discussion.”

”Thank you.” The Pope smiled.

”In that case, since weʼre here, why donʼt we talk about something unrelated to the discussion today?” The king of the Liaystian Kingdom, Robert Viti Liaystian, opened his mouth.

The king of the Beast Kingdom, Balzak De Hermiess, crossed his arms. ”What kind of topic are you talking about?”

Robertʼs expression turned solemn as he looked at Vivian. ”If possible, I would like Vivian to be fair.”

”Fair? If Iʼm not fair, I wonʼt even come here.” Vivian pointed at herself, confused.

”No. As I said, Iʼm not talking about the discussion.”

”If itʼs not about magic weapons, then what?” Vivian crossed her arms. ”Have I been unfair?”

”Yes. This is not fair.” Robert pointed at each sovereign. ”Look at them! The Azilia Kingdom has Selena, the Holy Kingdom has Serafina, and the Beast Kingdom has Alavenya. Why is there no one from the Liaystian Kingdom?”

”…”

”…”

”…”

”Pfft!” Sullivan couldnʼt contain his laughter as Zack slapped his back to stop him, reminding him not to be rude.

”But…Pfft…” Sullivan simply couldnʼt contain his laughter, even if he did his best. He never thought Robert would open the topic with this one. And heʼd just tried persuading Vivian, but to no avail.

”What do you mean my kingdom has Selena Ashton? Donʼt you know the current situation?” Juliusʼ eyebrows twitched. If he wanted to mention someone, it would be better if it were Noelle or Flora. But Selena could defect at any time due to her householdʼs problems.

”I donʼt care. Itʼs your problem.” Robert snorted.

”Wait. The Dragon King might have been a person of my kingdom, but he mostly stays in the neutral zone, as if he doesnʼt want to stay in my kingdom.” Balzak denied that claim.

”I donʼt care. Itʼs your problem.” Robert repeated his answer.

”Serafina is a good student of mine, the only saintess that doesnʼt follow the natural order of the Holy Kingdom, and Iʼm proud of her.”

”I donʼt care. Itʼs you—” Robert abruptly stopped. He is proud of her? Then, it wasnʼt even a problem. The Pope just admitted it blatantly. ”See? This is unfair.”

The Pope could only chuckle. In the end, he was similar to Sullivan. He had a hard time containing his laughter.

”This is ridiculous. Are you going to start an argument here? We are here to discuss the magic weapon, not that! Itʼs your problem.” Julius snorted. ”If you are going to start something, just watch if you dare to harm him!”

Balzak crossed his arms before pinching the bridge of his nose. He couldnʼt help but wonder why he even came here.

Vivian sighed. ”No matter how many times youʼre asking me, my response will remain the same. I wonʼt interfere with my discipleʼs love life.

”If you want to start something, make sure itʼs genuine. If you dare to scheme against him… I will do anything in my power to stop it.”

As they were about to start an argument, a deep but gentle voice suddenly rang in everyoneʼs ears.

”What is this? I thought we were supposed to discuss the magic weapon? But how did it suddenly change to a political marriage discussion?”

”!!!” That voice alarmed all the people whose strength was at the same level.

Sullivan, the Pope, the Beast King, and the magician raised their guards as if they were ready to fight.

”What is this? My summoner has never participated in such a meeting, but when he decides to attend it for the first time, he is met with such hostility.” A hoarse voice followed right after as the giant double door was being opened from the other side, revealing four people on the other side.

The one who opened was a large man with a scowling red face, bulging eyes, and a long beard. He wore traditional robes and a judgeʼs cap that bore the character for ”king.”

”I donʼt know what youʼre talking about. Iʼm here just to see the tombʼs guardian. But I canʼt sense his presence here.” A man with rotten skin who had been bandaged all over his body shrugged.

He carried a crook and flail that represented his authority.

”Thatʼs true. All I want is to find my brother, but I donʼt think he is here. Itʼs a shame, but I guess this meeting is a disappointment. Where is my brother? Is he enjoying his freedom?” The woman possessed an otherworldly beauty to the point where all the people in this room, including Sullivan, got their breath taken away.

However, if one had higher-level ability, they could see there was an artifact on her chest that contained the power of illusion. If they could bypass that ability, they could see that the left side of her body was rotten like that of a zombie.

Still, Vivianʼs eyes were directed at the man with long black hair. His appearance wasnʼt outstanding, but the aura he had felt like it was clutching her chest. It was just hard to breathe because his presence alone carried the meaning of death.

”Well… I never thought you would be interested in this meeting.” The Pope released his own power, neutralizing the death aura coming from that guy.

As soon as she managed to catch her breath, she couldnʼt help but think, ʼSo… this is the man who is said to be the greatest genius in the world right now, the only person with three lifebound familiars in this era, Elysion Aquamoon?ʼ
