Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 429: Space Ability, Unlock

While the others had gone for their respective enemies, Nathan was still riding Fenrir.

Out of curiosity, Fenrir couldnʼt help but ask, ”Are you going to take all three of them by yourself? Donʼt underestimate them because they might attack you with lower-level familiars, not just their strongest familiars.”

”Yeah. Donʼt worry about it. In fact, Iʼm planning to end this mission quickly.”

”!!!” Fenrir looked stunned. ”Are you going to test that ability?”

”Yep.” Nathan smiled, thinking, ʼThe money is just right. Even though I have to sacrifice a thousand ena for this, I can buy a lot of cores with the money alone, so itʼs not really a problem.ʼ

Fenrirʼs expression turned solemn. ”Alright. Make sure you test it this time. After all, the next mission will be much more dangerous since weʼre going to poke that Divine Hand organization.”

Nathan nodded. While leaping off his body, Nathan said, ”Good luck, partner.”

”You too.”

As soon as Nathan landed on the ground, he summoned all the bullets he had, sending them to the three targets. They had to know they would be fighting him.

”!!!” Andreas and Gray leaped back while the familiar, the giant ox that stood with both feet, moved forward.

With a wave of his giant mace, it created a wind gale that was so violent that the ena made those bullets scatter.

”Take care of him.” Andreas ordered and moved as far as possible. Unlike Gray and the ox, he couldnʼt fight after all. In fact, his ena was only used for summoning.

Hence, Gray and the ox charged forward.

The ox slammed the ground with his giant mace, kicking up the rock underneath the soil.

Nathan was launched into the air by one rock. Gray aimed his bow at him and released it with all his strength.

The ena in that bow was extremely sharp. When Nathan created a barrier to block it, he could feel the energy was trying to shred him, but fortunately, the uniform withstood all that energy.

Seeing the ox was ready to intercept him the moment he landed on the ground, Nathan formed all the bullets he had and merged them. Instead of only ten composite bullets, he was actually able to create twelve bullets.

He sent all those composite bullets toward the ox while the remaining bullets toward Gray and Andreas.

The ox wanted to go back to protect his summoner, but the composite bullets couldnʼt be underestimated. The ox had to strike them personally to destroy them, which forced him to be unable to get away or intercept Nathan.

On the other hand, Gray released his arrow that somehow split into ten, intercepting as many bullets as possible.

After that, he moved back toward Andreas as they formed a barrier, protecting each other.

Once Nathan landed, the ox moved forward and smacked him from above.

Nathan hurriedly leaped back, avoiding the strike that turned the ground into a small crater.

When the ox wanted to chase after him, Nathan took out his pistol and shot the ox. That massive beam forced the ox to put the mace in front and block it. No, it even pushed the ox back.

With Nathan focusing on the ox, Gray released a few arrows in rapid succession.

Fortunately, Nathan saw them and avoided every single one of them, but each arrow created a burst with a similar power to the oxʼs swing.

It was practically like Nathanʼs pistol, but it had a much sharper form.

Since Gray was being a nuisance, he aimed up and shot three times.

During his fight against Alavenya, Nathan had never done this, but the bullets actually curved and created a parabolic movement that fell right on top of Gray and Andreas. With such a height, even the ox couldnʼt jump and reach it.

”Move away!” Gray grabbed Andreas and dragged him to the side, barely avoiding the three bullets.

On the other hand, the ox had to stop worrying about his summoner and took down Nathan, because it was the only way to win.

”Oooohhh!” The ox let out a roar and swung downward.

When Nathan wanted to leap away, he suddenly lost his footing due to the ground getting reduced to a crater. As a result, he needed a split second before his body reached the ground.

The ox was the same. Since the crater was centered on him, he had to fall much longer than Nathan.

But during that fall, the ox had already made another swing.

”!!!” Nathan widened his eyes in shock as he raised both arms while forming a barrier.

That swing was so powerful that the gale actually tore apart his barrier and blasted Nathan away.

His body bounced a few times on the ground. By the time it stopped, Nathan had to roll a few times as several arrows fell from the sky, almost hitting him.

He raised his pistol while glancing to the side. He noticed that the count seemed to be distracted by a few things, especially his knightʼs performance.

”I guess itʼs time.”

Seeing the situation had become much more complicated and the people would be more focused on other things, Nathan thought this was a perfect time to conduct the test.

[In exchange for 1,000 ena, which will be paid by Nathan Reckmoon, Party A will be able to use the space element, specifically the portal that shrinks the space into two points for 10 minutes. This contract will take immediate effect the moment Party A says, ʼSpace Ability, Unlock.ʼ]

Nathanʼs expression turned solemn. Even if he brought Selena and Sera in the next mission, going against three hands would be disastrous. They had to buy enough time and make sure those three hands didnʼt realize their scheme.

That was why he might have to show this trump card at that time. To ensure the safety of Selena and Sera, he wanted to test it first, even if it meant wasting 1,000 ena.

And this would be the first time for him to experience why the power of Space and Time was considered one of the strongest in all novels he read.

With a small smile on his face, Nathan muttered, ”Space Ability, Unlock.”
