Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 402: Shocking Everyone (Bonus)

”And now I shall explain how this works.”

The people snapped back after hearing Vivianʼs voice.

”Hurry up! Tell us. Is it really possible for a normal person to wield ena? Is this not a dream?”

”What the hell did he do earlier?”

”Was the guard a summoner, by any chance?”

”Idiot. The guard was a normal person.”

”That was definitely something only ena could do.”

”Vivian!”

Their voices erupted, and Vivian simply shouted back, ”If you donʼt give me a chance to speak, how am I going to explain anything?!”

Most of the people immediately shut up like a docile kid. Some people who were still running their mouths got their mouths covered by people near them, begging not to continue because they wanted to hear it.

In just a few seconds, the hall became quiet once again.

Vivian sighed. ”First of all, this work has been patented, and Iʼm still perfecting the prototype. As such, the final product will appear only after I present it directly in this place in the next conference, which is six months from now. As for how it works, I will leave it to my disciple.”

Nathan stepped forth while taking out the magazine from both the gun and the sword. ”The answer is this. If you take a look at these two rectangular items, you will notice that theyʼre the ones emitting enas.

”According to my teacherʼs Core Replacement Research, we are able to transfer the energy from the core and isolate it. Originally, the purpose of the project is to store it so that we can create a much bigger storage for someone to absorb the ena.

”Because itʼs not possible for the time being. We end up using this storage to store the ena and combine it with the weapon.

”With the help of Elder Thompson and Dwarf Zalton, we have been mingling in the design for a while, which allows you to release the enas stored inside these things. The weapons will be imbued with enchantments that can increase the power of the enas. You should have seen the power earlier.

”Once you pull the trigger, it will create a hole in that storage, which allows it to release the ena.

”Thus, the weapon that allows someone who is not a summoner to release ena is born. We call this Magic Weapon. This weapon is called a gun, but due to this, it will be called a Magic Gun. The same applies to the sword. We now call it a Magic Sword.

”The weapons are still prototypes and can be improved further. With some training, you will be able to wield this weapon perfectly.

”And this kind of concept is not limited to a weapon. Armor or even supportive structures that can empower your body is included, which is also the continuation of this research.”

The explanation was clear enough for everyone to understand the mechanism. Still, they were shocked that they could actually create such a thing.

In addition, it had been patented. If there was someone planning to make this, they would have to pay Nathan and Vivian to make or use it.

Of course, the Magic Weapon would definitely change the world. First of all, kingdoms around the world would definitely ask them to get such a thing.

Vivian said Nathan could basically get every woman he wanted as long as he had this, and this was the biggest reason. If they could actually get an exclusive deal, it would definitely give them a dominance power in this world.

In other words, Nathanʼs identity, who was said to be the one providing the concept, just skyrocketed.

While Nathan got the focus of the kingdoms or any other influences that dominated the world with their might, Vivian grabbed the focus of the people who used their crafts to rise through the ranks.

She said, ”Due to the scale of this research, we are currently lacking in manpower. Elder Thompson and Dwarf Zalton have agreed with me to open a few slots so that we can work together in order to further expand this concept.

”In the future, I hope that even normal people will be able to wield enas and might even be as strong as other summoners. In the end, 1% of the population is not enough to withstand the aliensʼ invasion.

”With the help of knights and other forces, we shall fight back against the aliens and take back what theyʼve stolen from us. Thatʼs all from me for today. Thank you for your attention.”

Nathan and Vivian politely bowed, knowing that they had made the people speechless.

”W—Wha—!”

”Professor Vivian. Iʼm an elder from—guooh!” He was smacked by the hand behind him as the other person said, ”I am from the chamber—Gah!”

”Iʼm first!”

”Thatʼs right. The first system youʼre trying to implement. I will support you!”

”I can give you the money you need to fund that implementation.”

”Move away. I should be the sponsor!”

The people were fighting each other, trying to get the slot. They obviously wanted to work on this.

After all, their names would go down in history if they worked together in this creation… the creation that would change the world.

Obviously, as the creators, Nathan and Vivianʼs names would forever be etched in the annals of history.

Of course, Vivian wasnʼt the only one they were trying to get. A lot of people were also coming to Nathan.

”Mr. Nathan. I have a daughter—Mmf!”

”I see that you are still a student and need more resource—!”

”Donʼt stop me!”

”He will go with me!”

”No. He is going with me!”

”Donʼt be a dumbass and move away.”

The hall ended up becoming a big mess. Nathan and Vivian were laughing inwardly, as they had expected this kind of reaction. The first system was already big enough to shake the world, but the second one would literally change the world.

Robert closed his eyes while smiling. ʼIʼm glad. You now have a disciple who can work with you and change the world. You even have the power to do everything yourself. The little girl back then has finally grown a pair of wings and soared into the sky. Old pal, you must be proud up there. Donʼt worry. I will be watching her over for you.ʼ
