Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 431: Alavenya the Berserker (Bonus)

A moment ago.

”Hahaha. Do you think youʼre good just because youʼre the daughter of the Dragon King? In the end, you have lost to your junior, who doesnʼt come from such a reputable background!”

That provocation was the last thing they should have done.

Nathan said he wanted to fix her anger issue, but what kind of fix was he planning to make?

Instead of the anger issue diminishing, it was actually more fierce than what she had shown in the past.

No, it was more like because of Nathan provoking her all the time that she got more and more accustomed to unleashing anger. In return, it increased the maximum limit of that anger.

At that time, the enemyʼs giant came to her and swung his club.

”Khhhh. You, that guy… All of you are bastards! Do you think I donʼt know that?” Alavenyaʼs eyes turned bloodshot as she unsealed her true power once again. She used the Soaring Step to appear in front of the giantʼs face and punched him.

She fell down much later than the giant, but this time, she fell like a meteor. She dove and joined her hands together before smacking the giantʼs stomach.

Bam!

The impact caused the giant to spit a lot of blood. His spine snapped, causing the giant to almost lose his consciousness.

A cat-woman and the summoner surrounded her from two sides, unleashing their respective attacks.

However, Alavenya just grabbed their weapons with her bare hands. They didnʼt expect Alavenya to be strong enough to do such a thing. Even when they were trying to pull away, Alavenya refused to budge.

She slammed the two weapons together, resulting in both the cat-woman and the summoner crashing into each other.

Then she struck the summonerʼs body.

Unlike Nathan, who had the protection of his uniform, the summoner didnʼt have much to protect his own body. As a result, that punch broke six of his ribs and knocked him out.

Little did she know, Nathan had been watching from the sides.

”She has become stronger, even though itʼs only been a week.” Fenrir narrowed his eyes.

”Yeah. Well, I have been thinking of a way to solve her anger issue. I can probably remove them, but that might just make her weaker.

”After all, oneʼs anger usually raises oneʼs strength. Hence, removing it will make her weaker. Of course, I know that she will bounce back up when her anger is under control.

”However, Iʼm thinking of another path. Instead of removing that anger, I will enhance it. If she gets used to such anger, she will gradually improve her control over it.

”In addition, the anger will boost her ability even more,” Nathan explained.

Nidhogg frowned. ”But that anger might become uncontrollable at one point. What if she goes berserk? That anger is similar to chaos, so if it becomes even more chaotic, that anger will turn into berserk, which will end up with her considering everyone as her enemies. Even if the end product is good, this is something she needs to overcome.”

”I know that. At that time, I will be the one to stop her. Why do you think I want to keep her close? Itʼs to ensure there will be someone who can stop her.” Nathan shrugged. ”Besides, I believe she can become stronger than her father… much stronger.”

”I see.” Nidhogg nodded.

”To be honest, a certain movie back on Earth has inspired me to come up with this plan. The giant muscular green goblin movie, who says he is always angry.

”And I think it is feasible. As for the potential, letʼs see… In one of the movies linked to that one, I saw him fighting Fenrir, and one shot him.” Nathan grinned.

”What did you say?!” Fenrir widened his eyes in disbelief.

”Pfft. One shot? To think youʼre that weak.” Anubis laughed.

”Thatʼs indeed something I would like to see. Use your contract and transfer that memory to me right now. No. Itʼs fine to lend me a few minutes. I want to laugh my ass off!” Nidhogg laughed out loud.

”My hand is itching for a fight. I donʼt mind defeating both of you right now. Fine by me. Letʼs have a duel. Do you think that movie is an accurate portrayal of me?” Fenrir gnashed his teeth.

Jinwu sighed. ”Thatʼs enough, Fenrir. Canʼt you see that no matter how you justify yourself, youʼll always be bullied here?”

”Even you?” Fenrir gasped. Jinwu had never provoked him, but for some reason, he actually sided with them.

No, he noticed that Jinwu was actually trying to hold his laughter.

”Fine, 3 vs 1, is it? Come at me. Iʼm going to beat you up!” Fenrir gritted his teeth as his pride was on the line. He glared at Nathan and shouted, ”No matter what you do, donʼt you dare mention that movie whatsoever to that chicken girl!”

”She is not a chicken, she is a Valkyrie.” Anubis grinned. ”Maybe I should…”

Fenrir just leaped toward them, fighting it out.

Nathan just smiled and looked away. At least they were busy enough to not intervene with the battle.

And it appeared the battle was about to finish.

There was only one enemy left to be taken care of. He had been surrounded by the merchantʼs guard, so Alavenya swept in and hit him on the side, dealing with a killing blow.

With this, the subjugation of the organization had finished.

”Well, I guess the quality of the summoners who donʼt graduate from the Frexia Academy is much lower. The Frexia Academyʼs requirement to graduate is to be a master level summoner.

”Meanwhile, other academies are usually requiring them to fight a mature class alien in a group to graduate. Other influences who are not as famous might have even lower expectations in those three years.

”There might be a lot of summoners who continue getting stronger even after meeting the requirement since they donʼt need to graduate so soon. After all, the Frexia Academy gives them a lot of access, like techniques, accommodations, teleportation, or even connections. So, thereʼs no reason to graduate early.”

Nathan sighed. ”Then again, strong people will be strong, so I shouldnʼt underestimate my opponents just because they look weaker.”

Nathan noticed that Alavenya was finishing up the battle, so it was time for him to make his appearance so that the merchant didnʼt take advantage of the situation.
