Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 434: Sullivan the Matchmaking Saint (Bonus)

A few days later.

Sullivan and Vivian were walking down the corridor. This wasnʼt the corridor they usually passed every day.

Due to Nathanʼs request, Vivian had to attend the meeting with the four countries. Sullivan came here both as the protector of the Azilia Kingdomʼs sovereign. However, he didnʼt meet up with the king yet for one weird reason.

”Say…” Sullivan circled his arm around Vivianʼs neck while whispering, ”My dear good in-law, Vivian. Where is Nathan? Is he really not coming?”

”Who is your in-law?” Vivian shook her head helplessly. ”Nathan wonʼt be here because he has to catch some fish.”

”Some fish? This is a meeting with the worldʼs leaders. Although there are plenty of huge organizations, the four kingdoms are basically the biggest influences that have legal power.

”Shouldnʼt he be here?” Sullivan asked. ”I have heard this before, but canʼt you persuade him or something?”

Vivian shrugged. ”Me? Persuading him? Donʼt you think itʼll be the other way around? Itʼll be me who will be persuaded in the end.”

”Hey. Donʼt give up.” Sullivan chuckled, but he couldnʼt deny it.

”In any case, he is adamant about catching some bastards from the Divine Hand. I donʼt know why, but I can guess.”

”Why?” Sullivan tilted his head.

”You should already know the answer. A woman, most likely.” She shrugged.

”A conference with the four sovereigns actually has lower priority than flirting with a woman?” Sullivan chuckled. ”If thatʼs the case, he should have flirted with Noelle. No. For him, I will bring Flora as well.”

Vivian sighed. ”Look at you. Why do you even become a matchmaker? No. You might be more suitable to become a matchmaker than the sword saint. Why donʼt you change your name to a matchmaking saint or something?”

Sullivan gasped. His eyes were wide open.

After three seconds, Sullivan actually nodded his head. ”True. I should have done that.”

Vivian couldnʼt believe it. ”Are you serious?”

”Yeah.”

”I canʼt believe you. Isnʼt it the title youʼve been chasing your entire life? Why do you even act like a child right now…”

”Definitely. Itʼs just… you know, I have been doing this for a long time. Iʼm just an old man who was supposed to retire three years ago. I couldnʼt care less about my reputation. I just want to enjoy life, and if possible, make sure that my children donʼt need to worry about their future.

”Besides, Nathan might be cunning, but he knows where to point at that cunningness. So, when are you going to set up a meeting with Noelle? No, wait.”

Vivian shook her head helplessly. ”You have never imposed marriage on your descendants, but why are you suddenly becoming so nosy?”

”Because Iʼm now a nosy old man who has nothing better to do.” Sullivan stuck out his tongue. ”Just think about this, Vivian. I have a very bright and cool idea.”

”Heh?” Vivian rolled her eyes to the side.

”Iʼm serious.” Sullivan grinned. ”If Iʼm not wrong, he is pretty close to the Dragon Kingʼs daughter, right? If you add Noelle, just think about this…

”Selena has Leyfon, Serafina has the Pope, Alavenya has the Dragon King, and Noelle has me.

”When there is a problem they canʼt solve, donʼt you think it will be cool to start ʼDaddy Time?ʼ

”The four of us, who might not be enemies but were never really allies, suddenly stand side by side, solving the problem. Just imagine how weʼre overpowering that problem. Thatʼs going to be sick.”

Vivian sighed. ”Daddy Time, eh? Hahahaha. Youʼre insane.”

”Donʼt you think itʼs cool?”

”Anyway, I donʼt plan to interfere in his love life. So, itʼs useless to convince me. Instead, you should use your time on how to deal with the terrorist organization. Has the medicine developed yet?”

”Yep. Itʼs almost done. If we include the time for the clinical test as well as the mass production, I think we need a month or two.”

”Then, you should finish it as quickly as possible. This will help Nathan, no?” Vivian shrugged.

Sullivan sighed. ”Any chance of me persuading you to help me?”

”None. As I said, itʼs not that I donʼt want to, I just simply canʼt. He is just too smart for this.”

Sullivan opened his mouth, ready to say another thing to convince her. Unfortunately for him, his time was up.

”Anyway, weʼre done talking. We have arrived.” Vivian sighed, stopping him.

”Right?” Sullivan also noticed the door in front of them. He took the initiative to open the door for her while winking his right eye as if telling her that he had done something for her, and he hoped she would consider helping him.

Vivian only rolled her eyes and entered the room. To her surprise, all four sovereigns had actually arrived despite her coming 30 minutes before the conference.

”!!!” Vivian raised her eyebrows. She had seen Julius, so she wasnʼt bothered by it. He had been accompanied by Zack Flamante, and Sullivan joined them after entering the room.

The Pope was accompanied by a man wearing full body golden armor. Even though he didnʼt show anything about himself, the small slit on the head showed powerful eyes that felt like they could see through everything.

The king of the Liaystian Kingdom had brought a powerful magician, who was also considered to be equal to Sullivan.

Last but not least, the Beast Kingdomʼs representative was a big, muscular man. His beard looked like a lionʼs mane.

Unlike the others, the one who accompanied him was actually a small woman. She looked like a secretary whose job was to stop him from being reckless and handling the negotiation.

There were only six seats at the table. Of course, Sullivan and all other World Class Summoners had to retreat to the edge of the room. The one who got the fifth seat and could sit in an equal position to the four sovereigns was none other than Vivian, while the sixth seat would be empty like usual.

”Iʼm surprised that everyone is already here. And Iʼd like to express my gratitude for attending this conference that has been hastily decided.” Vivian took her seat and said in a serious tone. ”Since all of us are already here, letʼs not waste any more time and begin our discussion.”
