At this moment, after Mu Ying expanded the bubble ball, Windsor lightly tapped her Magic Wand, causing the interior decor to arrange itself inside.

Finally, the three of them gathered in the front yard and hung up the sign together, on which was written in fancy lettering: “Witch’s Sundries.”

But right now it was still covered, and it would only be revealed when the store opened.

The main reason was that the products they sold were a mix of everything, including perfume essential oils, Alchemy Items, trinkets from the land, Magic Potions, and Crystal Flowers, a combination of a perfume store, a Magic Pharmacy, a Magic Items shop, and a flower shop.

It was hard to choose a specific name, so they simply called it a sundries store.

The word “sundries” didn’t reflect their specific business scope.

To attract more business, naturally, they couldn’t leave out the witch label.

After all, in Crystal City, a witch’s store signifies both fresh items from the shore and marvelous Magic, serving as a live advertisement.

“Witch’s Sundries will open in a week.

Please come and support us then!

Everyone who shops at our little store can get a Crystal Rose for free!” Mu Ying announced to the crowd using amplification magic.

The specific reason they couldn’t open right now was simply because they were all exhausted and wanted to rest for a couple of days, as well as to get a better understanding of the prices before opening.

After telling everyone the opening time, they closed the door and went inside to look at their new home.

The front hall on the first floor was the shop area, rather spacious, with a large counter and three or four shelves.

There was also a not-so-small rest area by the window.

A small door next to the front hall counter led into a small dining room with a kitchen, and there was a public restroom under the stairs.

Further inside was a door to the backyard Medicinal Garden.

Heading up the stairs, the first thing was a round lounge similar to the one they had in their dormitory at the witch magic school, though it was much smaller.

Around it were three doors, each leading to their individual bedrooms.

The structure of each person’s room was pretty much the same, akin to a small suite, including a bedroom, study, studio, washroom, and a small storage room.

Besides the basic furniture, it was empty; they would need to arrange the interior decor according to their own preferences.

Each of them carried some personal belongings.

Even without a Space Ring, with Shrinking Magic, a small hand-held suitcase could carry away the soft furnishings of a whole house, so setting up was quite convenient.

In just a few minutes after entering their rooms, they had arranged everything neatly.

They also took some items to decorate and fill the common areas.

In this regard, mainly Windsor and Senior Sister Rosie had more inventory.

Mu Ying had mostly focused on Magic Items and hadn’t paid much attention to collecting ordinary decor.

Last of all, she and Senior Sister Rosie teamed up to prepare the evening’s dinner, while Windsor went out to buy wine.

Over these days, not only did Yitaye from across the road help them a lot, but Monica and Debra, who came later, also provided some assistance.

Tonight, in celebration of their new home, they needed to celebrate.

A witch’s way of celebrating is with a dinner of delicious food and wine, and also a chance to entertain the new friends they had just made.

Everyone had received an invitation and came over on time.

“Haha, the moment I smelled this aroma, I knew you’ve learned your Cooking Magic well!” Yitaye commented as he sniffed the air.

Monica brought a big fish as tall as herself, “Come on, let’s add a dish.

It took me ages to catch this fish today; it’s precious!”

“Ahem,” Debra coughed lightly, offsetting the cost is not accepted, “I just brought my appetite.”

While drinking wine, they enjoyed delicious food, and three witches who had lived for seventy or eighty years shared interesting gossip with the three newcomers to the peak of their lives.

The only non-witch present, the real mermaid Bertrand, listened with great interest, eyes round and wide, broadening his horizons.

The wine was intoxicating, as was the pleasant atmosphere.

As night deepened, they fell down one after another.

Only Mu Ying had used anti-drunk magic, savoring the taste of the wine without feeling the effects of the alcohol.

After the lively joy had dissipated, she was the only one left sober.

Mu Ying sighed, took out her magic wand, and made the five of them, along with Bertrand the fish, float one by one.

Senior Sister Rosie and her boyfriend shared one room.

The remaining few were split up; two were stuffed into Windsor’s room, and two into her own.

After cleaning up the trash left from the banquet, Mu Ying took a bath and lay back down on the bed.

The end of this trial period had arrived, and happiness always seemed so fleeting.

The three-hour trial time, equivalent to nine days, felt like it had passed in the blink of an eye.

Mu Ying looked at Monica and Debra on either side of her, snoring away in their sleep, and envied them for being able to stay forever in this beautiful world without a care.

However, as comfortable as life was here, she had inseparable ties in reality; after relaxing and drawing strength, she always had to return to the real world to strive on.

Filled with determination, she closed her eyes.

In the real world, on the bed in the Magic Hut, she turned over and fell asleep again.

The next day at dawn, Mu Ying, deep in sleep, vaguely heard a sound of something rolling, “gulu gulu ...”.

Thinking it was probably Little Stone out for a walk, she didn’t pay much attention.

But not long after, she felt a weight pressing down on her.

Mu Ying, with bleary eyes, reached out to feel and gave it a squeeze.

“Hm?” This chilly sensation was definitely Little Stone, but why had it become harder?

Mu Ying opened her eyes to look.

Indeed, it was Little Stone.

It had grown bigger, gray and fuzzy.

She kneaded it a bit; the comfortable texture from before was gone, it felt like a somewhat dry piece of putty.

“What’s happened to you?”

Little Stone: Humph(ˉ(∞)ˉ)chirp

Mu Ying opened the Underground City page.

[Underground City]

[Age: 1 year]

[Volume: Room (0/1)]

“One year old?

You finished a ton of stone powder?” Mu Ying was stunned; how many days had passed?

Although she spent over nine days in the trial, she hadn’t lost her memory.

After calculating carefully, she almost worried that Little Stone had eaten itself sick.

It had grown to age zero on the day she leveled up to 8, and then she had given it the stone powder she had prepared beforehand.

Apart from the ones in the tank, she had even cleared out a room in the original wooden house to store its grain storage, filled to the brim with ground stone powder.

A lot had happened that day: the griffin hatching, Sharon and her group entering the territory, it seemed like she had entered the Trial World that very evening.

So, working it out, that meant Little Stone had finished a ton of stone powder in less than half a day and a night?

Mu Ying, carrying Little Stone, went to the room where the stone powder was kept to check, and indeed, not a speck was left.

She really had no idea where it all went.
