I Live on the Land in Global Games

Chapter 318 - 318 314 The Pros and Cons of Chen Ming318: Chapter 314: The Pros and Cons of Chen Ming 318: Chapter 314: The Pros and Cons of Chen Ming Sharom clenched her teeth, this damn little thing really knew how to hit where it hurt, always targeting what she cared about most.

Feelings, ha, what a luxury, she had none, but that didn’t stop her from liking and destroying them!

“Are you challenging me by saying not to go for the heart?”

A mere Level 8 Elf who became involved halfway through?

What gave her such confidence?

Mu Ying’s heart leapt with joy upon hearing this; she had been provoking her for quite a while now, deliberately focusing on the vampire’s most detested and obsessive matters of freedom and emotions as mentioned in the data, and finally, there was a normal angry reaction.

“Yeah, compared to those ineffective heart-striking tactics, I prefer a straightforward confrontation with me, don’t you think?” Mu Ying had an arrogantly unbearable look about her.

Sharon covered her face and laughed lightly as if she heard something amusing.

While laughing heartily, suddenly, the laughter stopped sharply.

She lowered her hand from her face, the smile completely gone, revealing sharp fangs and licking the tips of her teeth, her gaze filled with aggression as she looked at her.

“As you wish.

You will regret the words you said today.”

“Mhm, I’m waiting to see.

I am not just your prey, but you’re mine as well, let’s see who catches whom first!” Mu Ying’s mouth curled into a smile, yet her eyes held not a trace of emotion.

“Good,” Sharon felt a surge of excitement from the challenge rise within her, and the boiling sensation of her blood was too exhilarating; she tilted her head back to drink the last sip of wine from her cup, “I enjoyed our talk today, you, I have set my sights on!”

She set the cup on the bar, her body’s dark aura suddenly swelled, sharp nails emerging, and the black patterns at the corners of her eyes spreading as she lunged viciously towards Mu Ying.

At this moment, Sharon’s intent to kill was real.

Quite a few players became alert and stood up.

But Mu Ying didn’t move at all, completely unfazed, and even managed to give Sharon a mocking smile before she was teleported out by the territory’s protective function.

This was Mu Ying’s territory, the moment Sharon revealed an intent to attack and took substantial action, she would be immediately expelled.

Did Sharon not know this?

No, she knew.

Yet she still acted this way, purely to intimidate her.

Mu Ying was the one who initiated the provocation.

If she got scared by such a threat, then it was better to pack up and leave early!

Sharon got thrown out, and the remaining vampire gentlemen, faced with the not so friendly expressions of the players: “...”

“Let me escort you on your way,” Mu Ying said, not waiting for a response, flicking her hand and tossing the person out.

It must be said, as a Lord, the feeling of using one’s authority to throw someone out of the territory was quite delightful.

The outsiders left, and the players were abuzz.

They had a feeling that the Lord was playing a big game, yet they knew nothing about it.

Liu Luoluo was the first to ask, “Mu Ying, are they all bad people?

Are the Blood Crows really theirs?”

The tavern fell silent, with everyone pricking up their ears.

Mu Ying thought there was no need to hide these matters from them any longer.

She didn’t speak before because the Vampires were quite strong, and everyone relied on the Territory Shield to deal with the Blood Crows and their hidden Master; saying too much would cause the Local People to lose confidence, which was not conducive to everyone’s development.

Now that the Vampires had shown up, and she had also gone up a level, the gap wasn’t that big anymore.

She might as well tell them the situation of the Vampires in detail, so they would no longer be deceived by appearances.

“When I heard that the Blood Crow Nest was moving south, I was worried that they would one day threaten the territory.

I probed secretly; Blood Crows are Undead Creatures that do not need Feeding.

They attack living creatures, and all the blood and flesh they collect is taken back and dropped in the Corpse Bone Meat Forest.

The blood flows into the central nest, accumulating into a Blood Pool fountain.

Sharon’s Bone Castle is right there, and I’ve seen her and seven other male Vampires Feeding there.”

So don’t be fooled by their appearance.

Although they have the same form as humans, they are fundamentally Undead Creatures.

They do not die because they have already lost life itself and no longer have the emotions they had in life.

Their bloodthirstiness is a racial trait they cannot defy, different from mermaids, Half-Breeds, and Mushroom Men.”

“So, is it true that if a Vampire bites you, you can become a Vampire and live forever?

Isn’t this also a way of changing one’s Race?

The Vampire template is stronger than the human one, right?”

A player from the second floor asked.

Mu Ying guessed that the idea of Vampires having long lives, even immortality, must have deadly allure for humans with their brief lives.

There would definitely be those who would be tempted.

She couldn’t possibly control everyone’s desires.

She outlined the pros and cons, and what was left was personal choice.

“If a Vampire bites you, you’ll die first.

Then your corpse will turn into a Vampire Derivative, similar to a zombie or a Ghoul, those with very clear signs of full corrosion.

Without any sense, controlled by hunger, you’ll be a Monster completely under the control of the Vampire that bit you.

Only if she’s willing to let you drink a bit of her blood, can you become a real Vampire, regain your both your senses and, in some cases, some memories from before you died.

However, your emotions and will will not continue.

Moreover, you’ll always be suppressed by the Vampire who transformed you, and your soul, having vanished at the moment of death, won’t be reborn – only your body, in darkness, will.

One could say, you’re no longer the same person.”

Plus, Vampires transformed through a First Embrace are at the bottom of Vampire society.

Not only is their power ceiling low, going up to Viscount level at most, that’s Level 12.

Against a Vampire with higher blood lineage, even if their level is much lower than yours, you can only serve them faithfully.”

If you can accept all this, consider your survival.

Low-level Vampires cannot control their hunger for blood; you must Feed on blood regularly.

By doing this, you’ll make a lot of enemies.

At the same time, you will have many weaknesses, such as: sensitivity to sunlight, which can scorch you; clear running water will be like strong acid to you; wounds caused by wooden weapons take a long time to heal, and being staked through the heart can kill you; you can’t enter homes without permission; and you’ll always be bound by the grave where you underwent your transformation, needing to regularly sleep there.”

Vampires may live a long time, but even Pure-blooded Vampires don’t often survive a thousand years.

They all die along the way.

As a human, if you Cultivate properly, your lifespan will also increase.

For example, Shom, the owner of the grocery store, is a pure human but has lived a very long time.”

I will compile the specifics about Vampires and post them directly on the forum later.

Those who want to change their Race and become Vampires, think carefully.

This process is irreversible, and once you become a Vampire, you will become the enemy of all living fleshly creatures, including humans.

Those who do not want to be bitten by a Vampire, make sure you keep your distance from them and don’t be easily charmed by their faces!”
