This put Mu Ying slightly at ease.

As long as the players didn’t, like Liu Luoluo initially did, harbor an inexplicable fondness for Vampires due to the pre-apocalypse impression left by Deep Blue Star, it was fine.

As for those who ignored the advice and sought to become Vampires to achieve both longevity and a leap in strength, Mu Ying didn’t care.

Everyone should be responsible for their choices, and as long as you can bear the consequences, any decision is your freedom.

Mu Ying had no interest in changing other people’s minds.

Good advice is lost on the damned.

Let them be.

Turning off the forum, Mu Ying thought that today she had basically thrown down the gauntlet to Sharon, although she planned to hide for the time being, stalling for time.

But the longer she delayed, the more dangerous it became for the Local People.

Therefore, the matter of dealing with the Blood Crow had to be put on the agenda and implemented promptly.

But all this had to wait until she obtained the Magic Potion recipe.

Fortunately, she had received a promising response regarding the Magic Potion recipe.

Some time ago, she had received a reply from the Magic Potion Teacher.

In the letter, the teacher mentioned that she had once developed a similar infectious Magic Potion.

However, it targeted a different subject than what Mu Ying needed.

Yet, based on the Magic Potion she had previously researched and making some adjustments to Mu Ying’s requirements, she was quite confident.

Since Mu Ying offered a high price, the Magic Potion Teacher was very happy to take on the job personally.

To resolve Mu Ying’s issue as quickly as possible, she even enlisted the help of several witch friends who specialized in Magic Potions.

They planned to collaborate on formulating the potion she desired, even guaranteeing results within at most six months.

A few days ago, during Mu Ying’s Trial, she had already sent the deposit and Dingling Flowers for future contact.

The items should still be in transit, so there hadn’t been any response yet.

Half a year in the Emerald World actually equated to about 60 hours in the real world.

Based on the free Trial Time of one hour per day, it seemed she would have to wait about two months.

This time frame was a bit too long.

Because even after she got the Magic Potion recipe, she couldn’t immediately produce the actual product in the real world.

She would need to spend time practicing the potion-making process.

Furthermore, if the recipe required herbal medicines that she hadn’t cultivated yet, she would have to spend more time growing them.

Even if she could expedite their growth, rushing them to maturity would affect the potion’s effectiveness, which also demanded time.

Adding up all of that, the time she would consume was too lengthy.

She could wait, but Sharon couldn’t.

If she dragged this out without leaving her home for so long, Sharon might look for other ways to force her out into battle.

Therefore, she must find a way to shorten this period.

Mu Ying naturally considered extending her Trial Time.

Every day’s free Trial Time is 1 hour.

And now she needed to use up roughly 60 hours of Trial Time quickly.

Merely relying on the free Trial Time wasn’t feasible; there was only one solution: spend Source Power to exchange for additional paid time, effectively accelerating the flow of time in the Trial World.

It was just like when the free trial playtime for a game isn’t enough, and you have to spend money for a bit more playtime.

In the initial stages when she first came into contact with the Ten Thousand Worlds Trial, because she had very little Source Power and also had a heavy study workload in the real world, her time was tight and she had never considered spending money on paid time.

Although there was plenty of Source Power in reserve, since she was coveting her own private Fragmented World and saving up Source Power to exchange for it, and also because there were still many things to do in reality, she hadn’t been willing to spend Source Power on Trial Time, so she hadn’t paid much attention to it.

Now, in order to save time, she had to inject some Source Power.

Luckily, at this time she was someone with tens of thousands of Source Power in savings, so she could afford the expense!

Moreover, since she had leveled up a bit, the speed of her leveling had slowed down, and she didn’t need to rush her spell learning.

The development of her territory had also entered a stable phase, and she still had plenty of time.

Spending more time on the trials wasn’t an issue.

Thinking of this, Mu Ying opened the trial page and clicked on the section for Trial Time.

[Free Trial Time: 1 hour/day]

[Paid Trial Time]

[Price for the first purchase each day: 1 hour/10 Source Power]

[Price for the second purchase each day: 1 hour/100 Source Power]

[Price for the third purchase each day: 1 hour/1000 Source Power]

[Price for the fourth purchase each day: 1 hour/10,000 Source Power]

...

The price for purchasing Trial Time grew exponentially, adding an extra zero each time, with the first purchase of the day being the most cost-effective.

Given Mu Ying’s situation, for every hour of Trial Time she used, the villagers in Square World could contribute at least 100 points of Source Power to her.

So spending Source Power to buy an additional hour of Trial Time could actually net her a profit of 90 Source Power, with the only cost being that she had to spend an additional hour in Trial Time each day in reality.

After some careful thought, it seemed quite worthwhile.

Losing one hour of sleep in the real world wasn’t a big deal.

Ever since her Elf Bloodline had been purified, her “standby time” had increased a bit.

This had been a chance discovery.

Initially, she still maintained her regular sleep pattern of eight hours every night.

The last time she was rushing to make Contraceptive Potions and applying Plant Growth to the territory’s land, she had stayed up several nights in a row.

Her body was very tired, and dark circles appeared under her eyes, but it wasn’t too severe, feeling almost like the days before the apocalypse when she stayed up for a day or two.

A normal person’s body couldn’t handle such sleep deprivation, and she dared do this because she discovered that if she worked on potions until three in the morning and slept for about four hours, she would naturally wake up around eight o’clock, which felt almost the same as when she slept for a full eight hours.

So spending an additional hour was totally manageable.

Suddenly feeling like she had been missing out, she thought she should have been buying an extra hour of Trial Time every day!

Even if unused, it could be kept here!

She needed to remember this for the future because if she didn’t buy it on that day, the purchase opportunity for that day would be wasted.

As for the second tier, where the second purchase of the day had an extra zero, it was breaking even, and for the third tier at 1000 Source Power/hour, it was too expensive and quite painful.

The fourth tier, at 10,000 Source Power, was something she couldn’t afford to spend.

The ultimate item for converting to Square World, an owner-recognizable Fragmented World, only cost 100,000 Source Power!

Mu Ying did some calculations: buying an extra two hours of Trial Time per day would add up to 60 hours, which would roughly take 20 days in the real world.

She found that time frame acceptable.

Mu Ying immediately used 110 Source Power to buy the first two tiers of today’s Trial Time.

[Trial Time: 3 hours]

That was enough for her to spend 9 days in the Emerald World.

After freshening up, Mu Ying lay on her bed, closed her eyes, and began today’s trial.

In the Emerald World, Mu Ying’s consciousness awoke in the body of the green witch character on the purple lace bed inside her Space Suitcase.
