Very well, even a few more injuries wouldn’t be a problem.

What beast hasn’t been injured before?

She clearly felt her body had grown stronger, and if every injury could enhance her strength, then she wouldn’t mind inflicting pain on herself.

And now, these minor injuries would scab over in no more than a couple of days.

That night, she was in a sorry state, but her heart was joyful; nothing was more important to her than becoming stronger.

The recovery ability of her wolf body also seemed stronger.

By morning, after the rain had stopped and the wind had dried her fur, her wounds no longer hurt.

She just hadn’t been able to sleep well all night and felt extremely exhausted.

Thinking about finding a place to rest for a while, she again encountered enemies.

It was the group of hyenas she had driven away, which had followed her for so many days.

Seeing her weary and weak, they returned to attack.

They were indeed a vengeful bunch!

But although she was tired, she was not to be trifled with.

For the first time, she fought with fiery anger.

In the past, due to her love for animals, she rarely killed while in wolf form and only used the Feedback Claw to gather materials, even when hunting.

But this time, her condition was poor, and the hyenas took advantage of her vulnerability, wounding her more severely.

Each bite they inflicted on her made her feel like her life was under threat; if she held back, her wolf body would be at risk of being killed for the first time, so she had no choice but to revert to human form.

This time, she didn’t think about nature or protecting plants and animals.

She was just a wolf, a wolf about to be killed, fighting desperately to survive.

She intended to make these despicable hyenas pay with their lives.

In this intense battle, she overcame her disgust at biting with her mouth, using every weapon at her disposal to inflict damage.

In the end, she won.

The remaining two hyenas saw her fierce, murderous look and decided to flee, but this time she didn’t let them escape to the hills.

Despite her extreme fatigue, and even though her fur was bald in patches and her injuries severe, she still went after them and finished them off.

Afterward, she dared not linger in that place, as the smell of blood would attract more danger.

Forcing herself to continue, she ran for a while, distancing herself from the area, and found a shallow stream to lie down in.

The stream washed the blood off her body.

Then she moved to another place and was just able to rest her eyes for a while.

Her injuries were severe, constantly reminding her of their presence, and the pain prevented her from sleeping peacefully.

Shi Yin, distressed, squatted by her wounds and puffed at them.

Gungun returned to his normal size, keeping watch over the surroundings for her.

After a fitful sleep for a few hours, she somewhat recovered her spirits; she was also hungry.

The cooked food in her Storage Pouch was almost gone, only some fruits, vegetables, and raw meat remained.

Now more than ever, she needed to replenish her energy, and wolves are carnivores.

She faced a dilemma.

Either eat the raw food or revert to human form to cook.

She had persevered through much hardship already; was she really going to give up over a piece of raw meat?

She didn’t agonize for long, quickly taking out a piece of raw rabbit leg meat.

She had already bitten through several hyena necks, dirty and all; her human form’s inclination for cleanliness had long been shattered.

Recalling the taste of hyena blood in her mouth, she hadn’t found it revolting but rather exhilarating.

Biting into the raw rabbit meat, she unexpectedly found it devoid of any gamey taste; instead, it tasted sweet mixed with blood, soothing her ravenous stomach and restoring her wolf body’s energy faster than cooked food could.

Perhaps an animal’s palate is different from that of humans accustomed to cooked food.

At this moment, she fully understood why Da Hui and the others seldom ate cooked food.

They too enjoyed the rich flavors and enticing aromas of cooked food, but raw meat was what truly sustained their ferocity.

After gobbling down a large chunk of rabbit meat, she was only half full, but her body’s fatigue and pain had somewhat alleviated.

She ate another piece.

“Awoo~”

Having satisfied her hunger, the comfortable White Wolf couldn’t help but let out a long howl.

The recovery ability of her wolf form was truly formidable; it endured wounds simply by having something in its stomach to stave off the pain.

She felt a deeper connection with the predator instincts of her wolf form.

She had always thought that the combat power of the Wild Form was weaker, just a regular beast, not comparable to Magic Beasts with special abilities.

She hadn’t realized that she had only grasped the surface.

The prompt indicated that she had found the right direction for her training.

She must integrate herself into the Wild Form as much as possible, not just physically, but mentally as well.

After traveling some distance, feeling that she had digested some of the rabbit meat, she began her first true hunt, intending to fill her belly.

She chose a wild boar.

Following the hunting routines she had learned from Da Hui and the others, she crouched in the bushes looking for an opportunity, inching closer to it, finding its weak spots.

Eventually, she attacked from its flank, breaking one of its legs with her first strike.

This ended its chances of escape.

Then, as it charged blindly in its fury, she patiently dodged, waiting for it to exhaust its strength, before finally pouncing and severing its throat, savoring its blood.

At the same time, her Natural Bracelet at her wrist unusually stirred.

She summoned the Player Manual to check the information about the Natural Bracelet.

[Natural Bracelet]

[Quality: Orange Myth]

[Effect 1: Recovery Spring]

[Effect 2: Feedback Claw]

[Effect 3: Balance Scythe]

[Effect 4: Wild Tooth: Your mastery over a form of Wild Form has met the standards, grasping the wild aspect of the animal and integrating into it, gaining the recognition of the natural wild side, thoroughly enhancing the Wild Form]

[Note: A piece of Mythical Equipment that has unveiled most of its power and will only be wielded by its recognized Master]

She had awakened another effect.

With this effect, the Natural Bracelet transformed into a Beast Teeth ornament and, as a passive effect, it extensively enhanced the strength under the Wild Form, including the strength of innate weapons like body, claws, teeth, fur, and the body’s recovery ability.

The places that were bitten bald had already scabbed over and sprouted fine fur, largely recovered.

She felt her current body; her limbs had thickened, her body had grown larger, and she was filled with strength, her claws as sharp as blades.

If she encountered those Red Hats or hyenas now, she definitely wouldn’t be as destitute as before.

“Awoo~”

She howled toward the deep forest, venting her spirited enthusiasm, she had grown stronger again!

The beasts of the forest scattered; she had finally reached the level where merely the sound of her howl made wild animals flee.

Only now could she truly consider herself a lone wolf capable of roaming freely in the wild, a true predator.
