Chapter 1576: Reconstruction

”Aaahhnn!”

Noel expected her to scream in pain, but he couldnʼt help but widen his eyes when the Phantom was actually giving him a moan.

Even Melissaʼs eyebrows twitched in disbelief.

Noel didnʼt say anything and continued with the procedure. Back then, he managed to expel the ʼcurse,ʼ so he knew how to move things around within oneʼs body.

With Ardaganʼs help, he concentrated her animalʼs power to the parts she requested. The whole time, the Phantom had been giving a weird moan that even Noel started to feel disturbed.

Unfortunately, he couldnʼt stop. The entire process took only one hour because this was the first time he had done it.

Not only did he concentrate that power, but he also had to seal them while still maintaining the connection. This way, their power would still remain.

The process itself was not that hard. If he became even more proficient, he had no doubt he could do it in less than five minutes, as he did everything simultaneously instead of one by one.

However, because he did it one by one, they could actually see some changes. The Phantom had whiskers on her face, but those whiskers were gone.

Still, the teeth remained the same.

Although they couldnʼt figure out the exact transformation because the Phantom was one of the closest people to a human, they definitely noticed some benefits.

For some reason, her skin seemed to have improved as well. Due to the combination of the blood, it was a bit weird. The hair on her arms was much more than an adult female. With his refinement, her beauty couldnʼt be underestimated anymore, at least by human standards.

”Haa… Ha…” Once the treatment was gone, the Phantom let out one long moan. Her eyes blinked, still showing a pair of cat eyes. ”This is… This is…”

Noelʼs expression remained serious. ”What is it?”

”This is the best-nya!” The Phantomʼs eyes brightened. She pumped both fists as if she were satisfied with the change.

Due to the concentration of her power, her sense of hearing and her visions were enhanced, while the other benefits that didnʼt matter much were removed.

It could be said that her body turned out almost perfectly as she desired.

”Have I become something new-nya?” The Phantom suddenly took off her shirt.

”Phantom. You…” Melissa wanted to stop her, but the Phantom didnʼt care. In fact, Noel didnʼt care either. His face remained unchanged as if he were looking at her like a doctor.

”Hmm. Your body has definitely changed.” Noel nodded in satisfaction.

”Thatʼs true-nya! My hair is thick. But now… there is no such thing anymore. I donʼt have to worry about them anymore.

”Besides, my eyes can see farther and my ears can listen farther. I am not sure about my teeth, but they seem to be more durable. The main thing is that my tail has actually become so concentrated with energy that… How do I say this?

”My tail is my sense of balance, right? Because the energy is concentrated there, I can get a full grasp of my body. No, itʼs not only my body. I think even my sense of energy has increased as well.

”This is so great-nya! I have become what I wanted. Thank you very much.” The Phantom, surprisingly, hugged Noelʼs thigh and rubbed her cheek.

”Oi? Stop it!” Melissa restrained her and pulled her away.

Noel just smiled wryly, not knowing what to say.

”Iʼm really thankful. At this rate, I donʼt think anyone in my tribe will have a problem. If there is one, Iʼll just beat them up-nya!” The Phantom grinned.

”Iʼm glad that it works. I guess with this much transformation, it will be carried this way. By making everyone look the same, it will allow you to give birth to descendants that are the same as well.” Noel nodded.

[From the looks of it, you have indeed succeeded. The energy within her body has completely fused. For now, she is not half-cat, half-human anymore.]

Noel told her what Ardagan had told him.

The Phantom contemplated for a moment before raising her hand. ”Can you bestow upon me the name of my new race?”

”Is that necessary?” Noel tilted his head in confusion. ”In the end, you are still part of the cat tribe. There should be nothing wrong with it. This can only be said to be your perfected form. Thatʼs all.”

”Nya?” The Phantom looked down.

”Thatʼs enough. Do you want to trouble our benefactor more than this?” Melissa had had enough. She pushed the Phantom away while saying, ”Rather than wasting your time with this playful cat, letʼs continue with my body, Sir Noel.

”I guess the eyes, the ears, and the tail are the most necessary parts, not only to identify us but also functionally. However, I donʼt need teeth like that.”

”It should be no problem.” Noel agreed without hesitation.

”Wait a minute. Iʼm still not done.” The Phantom glared at Melissa.

”What are you talking about? You are done. Since you have gotten what youʼve come here for, go back right away. His Majesty must want you to do something.” Melissa rolled her eyes.

”You should go then. I have led him to you, so itʼs time for you to repay my kindness.” The Phantom scoffed.

”Sorry, but Melissa is much more suitable to protect me. What Iʼm going to do later is a bit different since Iʼm not going to just reconstruct my body but also my spirit seals. In this cold place, Melissa is much more effective in guarding me.” Noel waved his hand.

”Nya?!” The Phantomʼs face turned pale. She could argue with the Arctic Queen, but she definitely couldnʼt argue with Noel.

”There you have it. Go away!” Melissa had a smug smile on her face as she grabbed the Phantomʼs neck and kicked her butt, expelling her from the cave.

”You-nyaaa!” The Phantom was furious, but Melissa looked at her with contempt before creating a thick ice wall that isolated this place.

There was simply nothing she could do.

”I canʼt get satisfaction from you, but I will get one from that fish-nya. Hmph!” She harrumphed while turning around.
