Chapter 1559: Answer

”Huu...” Anna inhaled deeply while holding her blade. She had been meditating for over three hours.

Her mind still remembered the fight between the spirit king and the demon king vividly.

That fight completely changed her view. While it was true that Noel had become a spirit king, she didn’t know much about being a spirit king.

Noel had specifically told her that if she were to know the secret, it would limit her growth. While she wondered if there was another growth after that, Anna didn’t ask further.

After all, Noel believed she could become a spirit king on her own.

Besides, Noel and the sky demon king had shown their respective powers. It was a power different from how they usually wielded their power.

”I still can’t find it...” The original Anna clicked her tongue.

Anna opened her eyes slightly. ”Well, it can’t be helped. Something like that is not easily found.”

”That’s true.” The original Anna fell silent for a moment. Anna stepped away from the management of the family for a bit so that she could focus on becoming a spirit king.

This was her first goal. Her second goal was to practice the method that Old Ru had given. This was a method that no one could use to its full potential other than her.

After all, Anna had the original Anna to bear the other part.

”Huu...” Anna shook her head. ”It doesn’t work as well...”

”Let’s discuss this, shall we?”

”What do you mean?” Anna frowned.

”According to Noel, he couldn’t talk about it because he didn’t want to limit us, right? But you are me, I am you. So, we both are the same. There is no saying that we can’t help each other? We are just helping ourselves.”

”Well, I can certainly agree with that argument...” Anna nodded. ”Though, it’s a bit of a stretch.”

”What do you mean it’s a stretch?” The original Anna harrumphed.

”I’m just kidding.” Anna chuckled. ”Still, what is there to talk about? We both don’t understand anything...”

”How about recounting the battle? During that fight, Noel’s fire and ice elements merged.”

”That was because of his ancestor, no?”

”It might be true, but do you think that’s all? Do you think it’s not related to being a spirit king? If you think about it, he became a spirit king when his elements fused, no?”

”According to the battle report, yes.” Anna nodded. She certainly remembered reading this part.

”Exactly. I’m thinking about how he was able to fuse the elements. This might be the key to becoming a spirit king.”

”Fusing the elements, shouldn’t it be the most basic things, such as spiritual energy?”

”I know, right? The king path is all about altering the spiritual energy, right?”

”Indeed...”

The original Anna seemed to have gotten a wild idea. ”All this time, we have been separated, no?”

”Yes.”

”You are able to handle the gentle and controllable part of the lightning, while I’m handling the raging part of the lightning. What if we combine the two of them to fuse them to become a complete lightning?”

”!!!” Anna widened her eyes. She certainly didn’t consider it.

”I have been racking my brain to think of a solution for this problem, but none of them is working.”

Anna suddenly fell silent. Unlike the original Anna, Anna had something in mind. ”A balance...

”Night and day, sun and moon, black and light... The previous king mocked Noel by giving him a title with ’Moonlight’ on it while giving me a title with ’Sun’ on it. At that time, it looked like an insult, but...”

”Ah!” The original Anna certainly remembered this part.

Back then, Anna was sleeping on his arm, asking because she was worried. ”Noel. Are you going to fight the king because of that title? I don’t really care about the title, but this is rather insulting...”

Noel simply smiled while saying, ”Sun and Moon, day and night, light and darkness. Isn’t it perfectly fine?

”You don’t understand the light if you don’t know the darkness. How can one say the other person is good when they don’t know what is bad?

”They are complementing each other. People will be angry at the sun if they can’t admire the grace of the moon. People will be longing for the sun if they keep staring at the moon.

”Rather than insulting, I think of it as a compliment. I won’t be here without you.”

At that time, she didn’t think much about it and just fell for his sweet words.

But his statement made her think twice today.

The original Anna said, ”There won’t be violent lightning without the calm one, you won’t know the lightning is calm if you haven’t seen the violent one.

”There is no need to fuse the two. Instead, there will be a balance between the two, just like day and night.”

Anna squinted her eyes. ”And this power... might not be just for me.”

”For me as well?” The original Anna was slightly confused.

”Yes. If you and I create a balance, we might find the answer, but it’s not a complete answer. In the end, we are separated.” Anna raised one finger. ”Hence, both of us have to master the same thing. In other words, starting from now, I’m going to learn the violent lightning while you learn the calm lightning.

”In addition, the soul method... we will learn both sides at the same time. While you might rein in the violent power later, we will create a situation where I can take over the violent power as well while you handle the calm power.

”We are two. At the same time, we are one. You are me, I am you. Your violence is my calm, my violence is your calm.”

”!!!” The original Anna felt chills. She wouldn’t have even considered this before, but it looked like they had found their answer.

Whether they could do it or not depended on how hard they worked on it.

”Let’s do it, shall we?” Anna smiled.

The original Anna sounded excited. ”Indeed. Let’s do it. Let’s become a spirit king.”
