Chapter 1572: Integration

”Sir. Is everything you said true?”

Noel nodded. ”The Moon Goddess has shown me that possibility. As for the details, I canʼt give you any guarantee because I donʼt even know how to do it right now. The Arctic Queen might have the clue Iʼm missing right now.”

”Your Majesty…” The Phantom looked at him with crystal eyes as if she would cry if it wasnʼt granted.

The Lion King fell silent for a moment. There was actually nothing bad in this agreement. In fact, even if they had to give the Arctic Queen to Noel, people would be willing, thinking it was a worthy trade.

After all, it would lower the number of suicides among the beasts. If their forms became similar to each other, they would be able to create a disciplined army like a human army.

In addition, it might make them look much more like a human. Considering the expansion of the Muivell Kingdom, there was a chance that the beast kingdom would have to share a border with the Muivell Kingdom.

At that time, he thought about moving the beast kingdom, but if they could somehow become similar to that of a human, they might be able to integrate themselves. They might become the fifth kingdom, and their descendants might be able to share blood with other humans.

At one point, they could live hand in hand without any prejudice.

For the future of the kingdom, there was no reason to reject it.

”I canʼt decide on behalf of the Arctic Queen. If she agrees with you, then please.” The Lion King shook his head helplessly.

”Your Majesty…” Old Ru looked at him while furrowing his eyebrows. There was nothing to argue about, yet why would the Lion King become indecisive? He was their king, so he should have made that decision.

Noel, on the other hand, couldnʼt help but ask, ”Am I missing something?”

The Lion King closed his eyes before explaining, ”It is related to the ancestorʼs will. Everyone is traumatized by what happened in the past.

”Suppose we can become similar to a human, we are still not fully human. Being able to live alongside humans might be good, but the process is treacherous.

”Humans will look down on us, and while we are fighting against them, thereʼs no telling how many lives have been taken. The Muivell Kingdom has you, but we canʼt say for the other kingdoms, for example, the Greenwood Kingdom and the Atracaeca Kingdom.

”They enslave people. What if my people are enslaved? We know how deprived humans are. They can enslave my people just for the sake of their amusement.”

”...” Noel continued, ”It looks like the beast kingdom has prepared themselves for integration…”

”Yes. At one point, your expansion will reach this place, surpassing even your ancestorʼs territory. Moving the entire tribe will be hard. Even if some want to move, I believe there are some who want to stay. This might benefit them, but just thinking about the integration process pains my heart.

”I know that this is better decided at the council meeting, but because you seem to be in a rush to get the Arctic Queen, I can only leave the decision to her. The rest has to be decided at the next council meeting,” he explained.

Old Ru looked down. He could somehow agree with his opinion, but he didnʼt expect that the Lion King had become this wise.

Noel smiled. ”Please allow me to express my respect to you, Your Majesty. While itʼs true that integration is possible and the process is something that will inflict pain on many people, I would like to suggest one possible path.

”What if you use the Ardagan family as the first integration? I have full control over the Ardagan family. I have the best legal team, and I can use my strength to ensure the integration, at least in my territory.

”It might still end up the way you said later, but with the first integration within the Ardagan family, people will get used to it, which will lower the damage in your mind.”

”That is true.” The Lion King smiled helplessly. ”I guess Iʼm not as wise as Sir Noel.”

”Not at all. I might be able to offer some advice, but I am unfit to be a sovereign.” Noel shook his head.

The Lion King nodded. ”Whatever happens in the future, I hope that we can find a path where we can walk alongside each other, Sir Noel.”

”Yes, Your Majesty.” Noel nodded. ”If you wish to talk about the integration, you can invite me to the meeting so that we can discuss it long before the integration itself so that we can prepare everything. As the saying goes, you can never prepare enough.”

The Lion King nodded. ”As for the Arctic Queen…”

The Phantom raised her hand. ”Me, me. I know the Arctic Queenʼs general location-nya. I can probably find her exact location by following her trail-nya!”

The Lion King had no problems. ”Please guide him, Phantom. But donʼt forget that you still have your duty. Please be back soon.”

”Nya?!” She stepped back, her gaze taking a sneak peek at her table, which had a pile of papers. ”I am better at something physical-nya!”

”You have to do it. Once you lead him to the Arctic Queen, youʼll go back immediately.” The Lion King shook his head.

”Nya?!” The Phantomʼs face turned pale, but she wasnʼt out of ideas. ʼOnce I lead him, I will find a way to make that wolf return and do everything in my stead-nya. I will make sure she feels guilty or indebted to me-nya! Iʼm a genius-nya!ʼ

The Phantom acted as if she were feeling down. ”I understand-nya.”

Old Ruʼs eyebrows twitched as if he could foresee what would happen next. He didnʼt say anything, but it didnʼt seem he would be planning on letting her go.

The Lion King waved his hand. ”In that case, please guide our guest.”

”Your wish is my command-nya.” The Phantom furiously nodded. ”Letʼs go-nya! I will make sure to find that wolf as quickly as possible-nya!”
