Chapter 1569: Body Reconstruction

”What is your element?”

”!!!” Noel was taken aback. He had never thought about this possibility. Now that he thought about it, all spirits indeed had an element, no matter how unique they were.

Although he wasn’t a complete spirit, he had become a spirit after fusing with Ardagan. In that case, what was his element? Was it the black flame, considering he became a spirit because he fused with Ardagan?

That was the only explanation.

”Ardagan’s flame?”

[No.]

Instead of the moon goddess, Ardagan was actually the one answering his doubt.

”What?” Noel was perplexed.

[My element is mine.. Even though we are one now, what is mine is still mine. Heisk might be able to represent your human body, but not the spirit body.]

Noel gasped. ”But you did say I could go there to fuse the elements...”

[I’m sorry. It looks like I haven’t considered this aspect.]

Noel was speechless. Before he could say anything, the moon goddess continued, ”You don’t have to blame Ardagan.”

Noel was confused again. It felt like the moon goddess knew what Ardagan said.

She didn’t bother to say anything about it. Instead, she continued, ”While Ardagan is a spirit, he is an artificial spirit. In addition, he is only about one thousand years old. His knowledge and experience are limited to what has been infused into him. So, he won’t know what will happen if you fuse together.”

”This...” Noel gulped. It looked like the situation was far more complicated than he had originally thought. ”In that case, what am I supposed to do? What is my element?”

”There are only two theories. No one has ever fused with a spirit and turned into one. The first theory is that your spirit body doesn’t have an element.

”The second theory is that your spirit body has an element, but you are not aware of it yet. Depending on your condition, you need a different approach when attempting the fusion.

”However, the general method is to fuse your spirit body with your human body. Right now, you can be called half-spirit, half-human.

”What you should aim for is not this, but the fusion of both spirit and human. In other words, it will be an entirely new species between the two races. Your current condition is similar to that of the people in the Beast Kingdom.

”You are able to use the two elements because your spirit body handles the fire, while your human body handles the ice.

”If you use your True Spirit Body, the elements will become unstable because each side is trying to overpower the other.

”However, if you are able to fuse both bodies together and create an entirely new body and fuse the two elements into a new element and integrate it with your new body, this will become your true form. When you use the True Spirit Body, it will not be two separate True Spirit Body, but a True Spirit Body belonging entirely to you.

”You can say that even if you don’t have Ardagan or Heisk anymore, you will still be able to wield this new element.”

Noel was taken aback. This was definitely beyond his specialty. There was no way he could think of this possibility.

”So, you’re saying I should attempt to forge this new body?”

”That’s what I’m saying.” The moon goddess nodded solemnly. ”In your current condition, it will be hard to do. However, Ardagan’s attempt might not be entirely wrong. If you go to a chilling place to suppress his fire, you will probably find this problem on your own.”

Noel agreed in that regard. But finding the problem and finding the solution were two different things.

”Still, I don’t even know how to fuse both bodies. Is there even a way, considering I’m the first person with this condition?”

”Thanks to you liberating the beast kingdom, I could get some information about their bodies from other spirits.

”The answer you will get will probably be similar to them. It is through rebirth.”

”Rebirth?”

”Similar to what you have experienced when becoming a spirit king, you are going to reconstruct your new body instead of your spiritual energy.”

”So, there is no concrete method yet?”

”Yes and no. This method has been approved by the spirit god, meaning that it should be the correct answer. No, it’s not a complete method. You have to figure out the method yourself. I don’t know if you know anyone who has this kind of problem.

”It doesn’t matter whether that person has two bodies, two minds, or two hearts. As long as within the body, it has more than one thing that they’re supposed to have, they might be the clue to figure out the solution.”

”Two things...” Noel fell silent. There were actually two people he could think of. The first one was Anna. She had two souls, but the problem was that the other soul existed in the sword instead of her body.

This might not be what the moon goddess was looking for.

The second person was actually Melissa. That was right. Melissa, the Arctic Queen, was certainly unique. Her method was to have two minds, which he had practiced before. It was for different things, but if he talked to her, he might find the clue to fuse the two bodies.

”There is one person. She is half-human, half-wolf. She can split her mind in two.”

”In that case, that person might be your clue. It is unfortunate that I can’t give you the complete method. I hope that you are able to find this method yourself.”

Noel fell silent. ”There is one question I have in mind.”

”What is it?”

”Suppose I find this method, do you think the beast kingdom can also use it to reconstruct their bodies?”

”You are certainly like your ancestor, thinking not only about yourself but also about the benefits of others. Unfortunately, I can’t say for sure, but the probability should be very high, 70% if not 80%. The one that can determine their fate is the answer you find.”

The people in the beast kingdom were searching for a way to become humans. That was why they wanted to get baptized and receive the spirit’s blessing. If this method could help them as well, it might be the first step toward their grand goal.

Noel’s expression turned resolute.
