Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 742: Chapter 785: Daughter Missing

”Mom...!”

”Anxin...!” Xiao Bai and Mu Beiting exclaimed simultaneously!

Xiao Bai stood up, ready to check on Ye Anxin’s condition, but Mu Beiting, who rushed over, pushed him aside. Mu Beiting sat on the edge of the bed, cradling the unconscious Ye Anxin in his arms. His thick and rough hand gently patted Ye Anxin’s little face as he anxiously called out, ”Anxin, how are you? Anxin, wake up!”

Unfortunately, Ye Anxin lay in his arms without any response!

”Dad, I’ll call the doctor!” Xiao Bai dared not delay and forgot about the emergency button on each bed. He turned and dashed out of the room!

Mu Beiting didn’t pay attention to him but instead pressed his thumb firmly against the philtrum below Ye Anxin’s nose!

The pressure on her philtrum forced the comatose Ye Anxin to wake slowly. She opened her eyes gradually and, seeing Mu Beiting’s face full of concern, weakly called out, ”Uncle...!”

Mu Beiting hurriedly held Ye Anxin’s hand, concerned, ”Anxin, how do you feel? Anywhere uncomfortable? Xiao Bai went to call the doctor. Hang in there, the doctor will be here soon!”

”Uncle, Chu Yi, where is Chu Yi? You were joking with me earlier, right? Chu Yi is in the baby bath, not taken by Mo Xuehong, right? You were joking with me, weren’t you?” Ye Anxin grasped Mu Beiting’s hand tightly, looking at him anxiously, hoping to hear the answer she desired from his mouth.

She couldn’t imagine what would happen if her newborn daughter fell into the hands of the enemy. That was her daughter, whom she bore after ten months and hours of hard labor! How could Mo Xuehong take her daughter away!

Mo Xuehong would blame all her resentment and hatred towards Qin Muyao on her precious daughter. Wouldn’t her daughter... wouldn’t she be... wouldn’t she be...!

Ye Anxin dared not think further, as she feared the result might be unbearable!

If she lost little Chu Yi, she would collapse and wouldn’t be able to survive!

Facing Ye Anxin’s question, seeing her eyes full of expectation, Mu Beiting lowered his head and said solemnly, ”Anxin, I’m sorry, I failed to protect our daughter. Chu Yi was indeed taken by Mo Xuehong! Just earlier, in the baby bath! Because Chu Yi is in her hands, I’m afraid she might harm Chu Yi, so I didn’t stop her from leaving!”

”My daughter, no... I have to find my daughter, I have to save her... I can’t let her harm my daughter!” Hearing this answer, Ye Anxin completely collapsed, and with unknown strength, though her body had not yet recovered, she suddenly broke free from Mu Beiting’s embrace, kicked off the blanket covering her body, disregarded putting on her shoes, and directly ran barefoot towards the door.

Mu Beiting hurriedly chased over, scooped Ye Anxin off the ground, placed her back on the hospital bed, hugged her tightly in his arms, firmly pressed her body to prevent her from breaking free again, wrapped his strong arms tightly around her still-recovering waist, buried his chin in her neck, and reassured in a hoarse voice, ”Anxin, don’t get excited, don’t do this... You’ll hurt yourself! Trust me, I swear to you, Chu Yi will be okay. She definitely won’t come to any harm, I will definitely find her as soon as possible!”

”But... but she was taken by Mo Xuehong... Mo Xuehong always resented me for not saving Qin Muyao, she would blame all her hatred on Chu Yi, she would harm Chu Yi... Chu Yi is in her hands now, how can I be at ease... Chu Yi is my flesh and blood, I can’t lose her!” Trapped in Mu Beiting’s embrace, Ye Anxin felt no sense of safety or warmth. She felt as if all the blood in her body had suddenly frozen! Her heart wouldn’t beat, she couldn’t breathe, and even her tears couldn’t flow!

Feeling Ye Anxin’s despair and helplessness, Mu Beiting could not conceal the pain on his face, and his eyes were full of self-blame, his voice deep and heavy, ”We’ve been partners for so many years, don’t you trust me? I won’t let anything happen to Chu Yi, I will bring our daughter back whole and unharmed!”

”No... I believe, I trust uncle’s ability! Uncle has never let me down! It’s just... Chu Yi was born less than two days ago, Mo Xuehong doesn’t have food, drink, or clothes! She has nothing, what will my Chu Yi do? She will starve! And... I’m afraid... afraid before uncle finds her, she will hurt Chu Yi...!” Ye Anxin wanted to trust Mu Beiting, she truly believed in Mu Beiting’s capabilities in her heart!

However, this time it’s different! Little Chu Yi is just a newborn baby, even if uncle has great abilities, if Mo Xuehong really wants to hurt little Chu Yi to avenge Qin Muyao, they would be powerless!

Mu Beiting patiently continued to comfort, ”Trust me, she won’t harm Chu Yi! Believe me, she definitely won’t harm Chu Yi!”

Hearing these words, Ye Anxin was momentarily unresponsive, her mind constantly envisioning little Chu Yi’s current situation and condition!

At this moment, the hospital room door was pushed open, and Xiao Bai led a doctor in!

Seeing Ye Anxin was awake, Xiao Bai still wasn’t at ease and hurriedly said, ”Doctor, hurry and check my mom, see if she’s alright!”

”I’ll take a look!” The doctor nodded and quickly walked to the bedside, indicating for Mu Beiting to let go of Ye Anxin. But as soon as he did, Ye Anxin fiercely tried to get off the bed again, continually shouting to find her daughter!

With no other choice, Mu Beiting had to hold her tightly in his arms again! The doctor had to check her condition while she was held in this way!

After carefully examining Ye Anxin again, the doctor finally spoke, ”Mr. Mu, please rest assured, Mrs. Mu just has some emotional instability, but there’s nothing else wrong! Mrs. Mu has just given birth, she should rest more in bed and shouldn’t be stimulated anymore! Otherwise, it can easily leave lasting conditions that are harmful to her future health!”

Upon hearing this, Mu Beiting’s face became uglier, and he said impatiently, ”Alright, I understand, you can leave now!”

The doctor lowered his head, apologetically said, ”Mr. Mu, I heard about the incident in the baby bath earlier! We just found the nurse who was supposed to bathe your precious daughter, Xiao Hui, she was knocked unconscious and thrown in the corridor! It was all our hospital’s inadvertence! But rest assured, this issue is the hospital’s responsibility, we will not shirk it!”

Seeing him rambling on, Mu Beiting impatiently shouted, ”Get out!”

”Yes!” At this moment, the doctor could completely sense Mu Beiting’s anger!

However, since the incident happened in the hospital, the doctor merely touched his nose and then turned to leave.
