Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 735: Chapter 778: A Name with Special Meaning

”...!” With Mu Beiting saying so, Xiao Bai didn’t dare to touch anymore and withdrew his hand sheepishly.

At that moment, the little one who had been staring around with big round eyes suddenly burst into tears!

The moment she cried, everyone was scared and panicked, especially Xiao Bai, who thought he had hurt her when he touched her. He nervously asked, ”Auntie Yueyue, why did the little sister start crying? Did I hurt her just now? Is she mad at me?”

Seeing his precious daughter cry, Mu Beiting’s eyebrows were tightly knitted, and there was an unprecedented panic and heartache in his eyes!

Ling Yueyue smiled and comforted, ”Of course not. She hasn’t eaten anything since she was born; she must be hungry and is demanding food!”

”Oh! Then quickly prepare something for her to eat? I heard that such young children drink milk, don’t they? She has no teeth and can’t eat solid food!” Normally highly intelligent and more mature than kids his age, Xiao Bai’s intelligence seemed to drop to zero when it came to his little sister!

He didn’t know anything now; all his thoughts were focused on his newborn little sister!

At this time, the babysitter who had come in with Ling Yueyue and had remained silent spoke, ”Young master, don’t worry, I will prepare milk for the little miss now!”

Ling Yueyue then remembered that she had been focused on bringing the little one in and forgot to ask Huo Junmo to bring the things inside. She quickly said, ”The milk and bottle are on my husband outside. Go and get them! We were too happy and forgot to disinfect the bottle first! Please disinfect the bottle with hot water and then make milk for little Chu Yi!”

”Okay!” The babysitter nodded, opened the door to fetch the items from Huo Junmo, then efficiently disinfected them with boiling water and prepared the milk.

Children are always impatient, wanting to eat immediately; during the babysitter’s disinfection process, not being able to eat made the little one cry even more vigorously, almost loud enough to lift the roof of the hospital room!

Even Ye Anxin, who was in a deep sleep, was awakened by her crying!

Ling Yueyue hurriedly stood up, pacing back and forth in the hospital room, gently swaying her little body and softly patting her tiny butt, tenderly coaxing, ”Little Chu Yi, be good, the milk will be ready soon, let’s hold on a bit longer, okay? You’re the best!”

Ye Anxin, awakened by the cry, immediately saw Mu Beiting at the bedside, his face anxious and at a loss! Then, she saw Ling Yueyue pacing back and forth in the room, soothing the baby constantly! Mu Beiting’s gaze followed the child’s movement! No matter where Ling Yueyue went, his eyes followed! Obviously anxious and worried to death, yet just standing there helplessly, without any action or expression!

Next to him was Xiao Bai, standing side by side with Mu Beiting, not only matching his facial expression but also mimicking his actions, their eyes apparently only fixated on the baby in Ling Yueyue’s arms!

Seeing this father-son duo, Ye Anxin couldn’t help but smile and softly called out, ”Yueyue...!”

Hearing this sound, Mu Beiting and Xiao Bai seemed to realize there was another person in the hospital room, Ye Anxin, who had just been near death’s door!

”Anxin, you’re awake!”

”Mom, you’re awake!” Mu Beiting and Xiao Bai spoke simultaneously, both looking at Ye Anxin with concern!

”Hmm!” Ye Anxin gently nodded, wanting to move but discovered intense pain in her lower body, having no choice but to obediently lie down!

Xiao Bai walked to the bedside and asked, concerned, ”Mom, was it sister’s crying that woke you up?”

”Hmm!” Ye Anxin nodded and asked with concern, ”Why is your sister crying? Is she hungry?”

”She’s hungry. The babysitter is making milk; it will be ready soon!” Ling Yueyue answered while still soothingly calming the stubbornly crying little one.

Ye Anxin smiled, unperturbed, ”It’s okay, no hurry; there’s benefit to babies crying more!”

Mu Beiting sat down at the edge of the hospital bed, held Ye Anxin’s hand, which wasn’t connected to an IV, and softly asked, ”Anxin, how are you feeling now? Do you feel unwell anywhere?”

Ye Anxin smiled reassuringly, ”I’m fine! If everything goes well, I should be able to get up by tomorrow!”

At this moment, the babysitter finally had the cleaned bottle ready, and brought the prepared milk over!

Ling Yueyue hurriedly sat down in the chair next to the hospital bed, positioned the little one comfortably, and brought the bottle’s nipple to her lips!

The nipple had barely touched the little one’s mouth when she sucked it in as if starved for ages, and began to eagerly gulp down!

Xiao Bai stood nearby, watching his little sister contentedly gulping down the bottle, his mouth unknowingly curling into a gentle smile.

Ling Yueyue carefully fed the baby. After drinking the milk, the little one stopped crying and fussing! Maybe she was tired from crying for so long, once full, she yawned lazily and then fell asleep with her eyes closed!

While Ling Yueyue was feeding the little one, the babysitter had efficiently tidied up the crib, covering it with the newly brought soft cotton blankets from Huo Junmo and Ling Yueyue!

”I’ll put the little miss in her crib to sleep!” Seeing the little one asleep in Ling Yueyue’s arms, the babysitter gingerly took her from Ling Yueyue’s embrace and placed her in the crib, covering her with a blanket!

With the little one carried away by the babysitter, Ling Yueyue couldn’t help but stretch her shoulders, yawn, and sigh deeply, ”Oh...! I haven’t taken care of babies for years, just holding for a while, I feel so tired!”

Ye Anxin grinned, ”Fret not, just need more practice!”

Ling Yueyue pursed her lips, threw a sidelong glance at Ye Anxin, ”Wishful thinking! Trying to pass your daughter on to me so you can slack off, huh? I won’t let you have your way!”

Upon hearing this, Ye Anxin widened her eyes and feigned surprise, ”Ah... My plot has actually been seen through by you!”

Ling Yueyue rolled her eyes at Ye Anxin, then changed the topic abruptly, ”Speaking of which, have you decided on a name for the baby?”

”Not yet! I didn’t know if it would be a boy or a girl, so I hadn’t thought about it! But, I think I’ll leave the naming to the Uncle!” With that, she cast her gaze upon Mu Beiting.

Ling Yueyue chuckled, ”I think the nickname should be Chu Yi! What a beautiful name, and it has a hint of chill!”

Hearing this nickname, Ye Anxin was slightly puzzled and asked, ”Chu Yi? Why call her Chu Yi?”
