Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 730: Chapter 773: She’s About to Give Birth

”I... I...!” Struggling to get out two words, her little face twisted into a knot, and the chopsticks and bowl in her hand fell onto the table with a clatter!

”Mom, what’s wrong? Where do you feel uncomfortable? I’ll go call an ambulance!” With that, Xiao Bai stood up without delay, ran to the living room, picked up the phone by the sofa, and dialed 120.

While Xiao Bai was on the phone, Mu Beiting also put down his chopsticks, stood up from his seat, walked over to Ye Anxin, and held her tightly in his arms, anxiously asking about her condition, ”Anxin, what’s wrong with you...! Anxin...!”

Because of his nervousness, there was a tremor in his voice that even he hadn’t noticed!

Ye Anxin put one hand on her belly and clutched Mu Beiting’s shirt with the other, stammering, ”Uncle, I... my stomach hurts a lot... it seems... it seems like I’m about to give birth...!”

Hearing this, Mu Beiting hurriedly asked, ”About to give birth? Isn’t there still half a month until the due date?”

”I don’t know... maybe it’s early...! Uncle, my stomach hurts so much... what should I do? The baby is coming!” Because of the pain, Ye Anxin’s face was not only pale, but beads of sweat the size of beans rolled down her forehead.

It hurts so much, it really hurts so much!

There was clearly some time left until the due date, but unexpectedly, the baby is coming now!

If she had known earlier that she would give birth tonight, she would have moved into the hospital earlier and wouldn’t be caught so unprepared!

”I’ll take you to the hospital immediately, hold on!” With that, Mu Beiting didn’t think twice and directly bent down to pick up Ye Anxin from the chair. Running outside, he yelled at the butler, ”Butler, call the driver, tell him to get the car ready, and take me and my wife to the hospital immediately!”

As the butler just finished his chores and entered the hall, seeing Mu Beiting urgently carrying Ye Anxin out, he realized the situation was serious. He immediately called the driver to wait at the door!

”Dad, I’m going with you!” Xiao Bai wanted to follow, but Mu Huajian pulled him back, ”Xiao Bai, don’t rush, let your dad take your mom to the hospital first. If you’re in the car, your dad will worry even more! Come with me, and we’ll go to the hospital and wait with them!”

Xiao Bai immediately accepted Mu Huajian’s suggestion and nodded, ”Okay!”

”Let’s go! We’ll go together!” With that, relying on a cane, he left with Xiao Bai!

As Xiao Bai and Mu Huajian reached the door, they saw Mu Beiting carrying Ye Anxin into the car, which then sped away without hesitation! It seemed as though they hadn’t noticed they were following all along.

Seeing Xiao Bai with a worried face watching the business car drive away, Mu Huajian gently patted his head to comfort him, ”Xiao Bai, don’t worry, let’s get in the car!”

”Okay!” Xiao Bai nodded and got into the car Mu Huajian had arrived in, setting off to follow Mu Beiting’s business car to the hospital!

The night road was difficult to navigate, with thick snow covering the streets! They lived in a relatively remote area on the mountainside, and even at the fastest speed, it took more than an hour to reach the hospital!

By the time Xiao Bai and Mu Huajian got out of the car and rushed to the delivery room entrance, Ye Anxin had already been pushed inside, and Mu Beiting was anxiously pacing back and forth at the door.

Xiao Bai walked up to Mu Beiting, held his hand, and comforted, ”Dad, don’t worry, Mom will be fine! I’ve seen it on TV, childbirth is like this, it hurts a bit! Once the baby is born, it’ll be okay!”

Mu Huajian also spoke up to console him, ”Yes! Beiting, don’t worry! Xiao Bai is right, childbirth is painful, but once the baby is out, it’ll be fine! Just be patient, it shouldn’t take too long!”

Mu Beiting gave Mu Huajian a slight glance without saying anything and sat down on a chair in the corridor.

Xiao Bai also fell silent, sitting beside him, holding Mu Beiting’s cold hand, hoping to offer him warmth and ease his father’s worry and fear!

Mu Beiting lowered his head, saying nothing, only staring at the floor!

Though separated by several thick doors, Mu Beiting seemed as if he could still hear Ye Anxin’s heart-wrenching cries from inside! It made his heart ache immeasurably.

Knowing Mu Beiting was worried about Ye Anxin, Xiao Bai seriously thought for a while and couldn’t help but ask, ”Dad, should we call Aunt Yueyue! Aunt Yueyue once said that when Mom is giving birth, we must call her!”

He felt that the more people present, the braver! More people standing outside would make everyone less nervous and afraid! Moreover, Aunt Yueyue had experience, and many things they didn’t understand, Aunt Yueyue would!

Mu Beiting was silent for a moment, then nodded in agreement after a long pause.

Seeing this, Mu Huajian quickly took out his phone and handed it to Xiao Bai, ”Xiao Bai, use my phone to call!”

”Okay!” Xiao Bai nodded, unlocked the screen, and dialed a familiar number!

The call connected, and it rang for a very long time with no answer! Just as Xiao Bai was anxiously worried that Ling Yueyue might not pick up, the call was finally answered, and a sleepy voice came from the other end, ”Hello, who’s this!”

Xiao Bai wasted no time, going straight to the point, ”Aunt Yueyue, my mom is about to give birth! We are at the hospital now, you need to come quickly!”

Upon hearing this, Ling Yueyue shot up, in disbelief, ”Damn... she’s really giving birth! Isn’t there still more than half a month until the due date? Why so early?”

”I don’t know either! Anyway, Mom has been taken to the delivery room, and Dad and I are waiting outside! Dad is very worried, he’s at a loss and we don’t know what to do! So, we hope you can come right away!” Although Xiao Bai was very worried and anxious about Ye Anxin’s situation, he still spoke calmly and orderly!

”Okay, I’ll head over right away!” As Ling Yueyue was about to hang up, she suddenly remembered something and quickly added, ”Xiao Bai, did you bring clothes for the baby and a blanket?”

Hearing Ling Yueyue’s words, Xiao Bai blinked, puzzled, ”Do we need to bring clothes? I didn’t know! We were having New Year’s Eve dinner, then Mom suddenly said her stomach hurt, so Dad brought her to the hospital. We came so quickly, we didn’t prepare anything!”

Ling Yueyue couldn’t help but roll her eyes, ”Goodness! You know to wear clothes, how could a baby not wear clothes! It’s so cold today, do you want to freeze the baby to death? Mu Beiting is so unreliable, he’s not a first-time dad! You wait outside the delivery room, your mom, although not giving birth for the first time, had a C-section with you, so this is her first natural birth; the baby won’t come immediately! I’m coming right now, I’ll handle the clothes and blanket!” With that, not giving Xiao Bai a chance to say more, she hung up directly!
