Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 733: Chapter 776: Both Mother and Child Safe

Seeing Mu Beiting’s body trembling violently without saying a word, Xiao Bai looked up, tugging at Mu Beiting’s arm while asking with concern, ”Dad, Dad, what’s wrong, Dad...?”

Huo Junmo walked over to Xiao Bai, gently tapped Xiao Bai on the forehead, and teased, ”Silly boy, your dad is just too happy, so he doesn’t know what to do!”

Mu Beiting’s current mood was exactly the same as his back then!

When Yueyue was pushed into the operating room, he waited anxiously outside. When he learned that the child was born safely, that feeling was indescribable, more joyous and accomplished than when he closed his first business deal!

”Oh!” Xiao Bai nodded, half understanding, glancing anxiously at the tightly closed delivery room door, ”But why hasn’t my little brother or sister come out yet?”

Ling Yueyue comforted him, ”Not so fast! After the baby is born, they have to weigh them, measure their height, and bathe them! So, it still takes some time, you have to be patient!”

”Oh! I wonder if it’s a little brother or sister!” Xiao Bai nodded, his eyes still fixed on the delivery room door! Just hoping that he would be the first to see his little sibling when brought out from the delivery room.

Ling Yueyue smiled and asked, ”So do you want a little brother or a little sister?”

Without a second thought, Xiao Bai said confidently, ”I like them no matter if it’s a brother or a sister!”

Ling Yueyue crossed her arms, supporting her chin with one hand, ”I think a daughter would be nice! Daughters are considerate... Moreover, your mom has already given birth to such a chubby boy like you, if she has a daughter, life would be perfect this time!”

And Mu Beiting didn’t say a word from beginning to end, just stared intently at the delivery room door!

Under Mu Beiting’s watchful eyes, the delivery room door swung open from the inside!

Everyone hurriedly swarmed over to the nurse coming out, except Mu Beiting, who stood there motionless!

Xiao Bai impatiently asked, ”Nurse sister, how is my mom doing now? Is she alright?”

The nurse smiled and politely said, ”Don’t worry! Both mother and child are safe! The baby was successfully delivered. I’m here to get the baby’s clothes and swaddle, I’m going to give the baby a bath now!”

Upon hearing the nurse’s words, Ling Yueyue quickly handed over the clothes and swaddle that had been prepared on the chair to the nurse, excitedly saying, ”Nurse, these are the baby’s clothes and swaddle!”

”Alright! After the baby is bathed, they’ll be brought out!” The nurse took the swaddle and clothes handed over by Ling Yueyue and turned back into the delivery room.

Seeing the nurse leave just like that, Ling Yueyue was momentarily stunned, then shouted, ”Hey, we still don’t know if it’s a boy or a girl?”

Unfortunately, the nurse had already gone into the delivery room and might not have heard Ling Yueyue’s words, leaving without answering!

After the nurse went back in with the baby’s clothes and swaddle, there was another long wait!

However, compared to the previous wait, this one was evidently much shorter!

About half an hour later, the delivery room door finally opened again!

Just when everyone thought it was the baby coming out, it was Ye Anxin, lying weakly on the hospital bed, who was wheeled out first!

Though it was a cold winter day, after the strenuous effort in the past few hours, she was completely drenched in sweat, even her hair was wet with sweat, sticking to her face and neck!

Though her face was pale and she felt weak all over, she had a satisfied smile on her lips.

The moment Ye Anxin was wheeled out, Mu Beiting, who had been in a daze, suddenly sprang into action, pushed through the crowd, walked up to Ye Anxin’s bedside, held her sweaty little hand, and in a hoarse voice said, ”Anxin...! Are you alright?”

Ye Anxin pursed her lips and smiled weakly, ”Uncle, don’t worry, I’m fine, I’m really good! For you and the baby, I’ll endure no matter what!”

”Mm! I knew you’d be alright, you definitely would!” This sentence seemed more like it was meant for himself than for Ye Anxin!

The medical staff who wheeled Ye Anxin out couldn’t help but say, ”Sir, I’m sorry, your wife has just given birth and is very weak, she must be taken back to the ward to rest immediately, please step aside so we can take her to the ward!”

”Okay!” Mu Beiting responded faintly, moving his body slightly to the side! The medical staff then wheeled the bed toward the ward!

Mu Beiting unhesitatingly followed along! Xiao Bai hesitated at the door, first looking at the delivery room door, and then at the bed being pushed farther away, unsure whether he should wait for his sibling to come out or accompany his mom to the ward!

Unlike his dad, ******** only knows about mom! Not even waiting for his sibling to come out!

Noticing his hesitation, Ling Yueyue gently patted his shoulder, ”If you’re worried about your mom, go with her! I’ll be here waiting for the baby to come out and then bring them to the ward to find you all!”

Even though Ling Yueyue said this, Xiao Bai still asked worriedly, ”Is that okay?”

Ling Yueyue raised an eyebrow, displeased, ”Why wouldn’t it be? The postpartum care worker, your grandpa, and I are all here, even Uncle Huo and Uncle Pete are around, with so many people here, what are you afraid of? No one would dare do anything to your little sibling! Go on, don’t worry!”

”Alright! I’ll go see my mom! I’m leaving this to you, Aunt Yueyue!” Then, after Ling Yueyue solemnly nodded, he ran off to chase the bed that had already disappeared around the corner!

After Mu Beiting and Xiao Bai left, Ling Yueyue glanced at Mu Huajian, who was deeply concerned and nervous, yet hadn’t said a word, smiled, and politely said, ”Sir, why don’t you sit down! You’re quite old, and it’s late now, I’m afraid your body won’t hold up!”

”I know! I just want to see my grandchild! When Xiao Bai was born, I wasn’t there, I didn’t even see him as a kid! This time I can stay outside the delivery room waiting for another grandchild to be born, I’m very happy, truly happy!” Thinking back to the past, and realizing that now he could stand outside the delivery room waiting for his daughter-in-law to give birth, he found it unbelievable!

He thought he was destined to be betrayed by everyone and die lonely!

Ling Yueyue quickly smiled and comforted, ”Sir, you don’t have to worry! With Anxin, you can see your grandchild anytime you want! Anxin is known for her kindness and values family dearly!”

Mu Huajian nodded, sincerely, ”Mm! I know, I know Anxin is a good girl, the reason Beiting could change today, it’s all thanks to her!”

”Yes, indeed!” Ling Yueyue nodded with a smile to agree, and as soon as she finished speaking, the delivery room door was pushed open once more!

A nurse dressed in a pristine white coat walked out holding a baby!
