Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 737: Chapter 780: Cherished

After fighting for several hours in the delivery room, Ye Anxin was truly exhausted and fell asleep as soon as she closed her eyes!

Watching Ye Anxin’s sleeping face, Mu Beiting’s eyes were filled with tenderness. He unconsciously tightened his grip on Ye Anxin’s hand, as if he was holding the most precious treasure in the world, being so cautious, afraid of accidentally breaking it or losing it!

Time quietly slipped away! Before long, it was dawn!

Fortunately, little Chu Yi was very well-behaved, not causing any fuss after drinking milk, and slept through until the next morning!

Only the nanny would change her diaper from time to time and occasionally check on her condition!

Little Chu Yi didn’t cry, so Ye Anxin slept very soundly, almost sleeping till morning! When little Chu Yi’s tummy rumbled with hunger and let out a tiny cry, Ye Anxin woke up well-rested and opened her eyes!

Throughout the entire night, Mu Beiting hardly slept, his gaze constantly wandering between Ye Anxin and little Chu Yi!

Upon hearing little Chu Yi’s cry, he seemed startled, jumping up from the bed suddenly!

”Sir, don’t worry, Miss must be hungry! Generally speaking, newborns need to be fed every two to three hours, and it’s been several hours since she last ate! I’ll go make her some milk now!” The nanny comforted Mu Beiting and immediately went to prepare formula for the child deftly!

Hearing the child’s cry, Ye Anxin moved a bit, forced herself to sit up from the bed, touched her own breast, which felt soft and without milk, and said helplessly, ”Xiang, please bring the baby to me! I’ll feed her the milk!”

Scientists once said that babies should be fed in their mother’s arms, and even if it’s milk instead of breast milk, it’s best if the mother cradles them while feeding! This way, the child will grow up closer to the mother!

It’s precisely because of this reason that, even though she has no milk and her body hasn’t fully recovered, she insists on feeding the child herself!

”Okay!” The nanny nodded, placed the prepared milk on the bedside table, and then picked up the crying little Chu Yi from the crib and handed her to Ye Anxin!

Little Chu Yi was really hungry, crying sadly with her eyes closed, her mouth searching frantically as if eagerly looking for something!

Ye Anxin hurriedly settled her in her arms, took the bottle from the bedside table, and put it in her mouth!

Feeling the milk enter her mouth, little Chu Yi immediately stopped crying, blinked her round eyes, and began to suck the milk earnestly.

Watching the little one eat so happily, Ye Anxin felt her heart filled with happiness and satisfaction!

This is her daughter, her precious daughter! From birth until now, it was the first time they were this close!

Yesterday in the delivery room, after she used all her strength to give birth, the nurse only let her see the baby for a moment before taking her away to weigh, measure, bathe, and vaccinate!

When she was wheeled out of the delivery room, little Chu Yi hadn’t even been brought out yet!

By the time Ling Yueyue carried her back to the ward, Ye Anxin was already too exhausted to stay awake. After giving birth, it was as if all her energy had been drained, wanting to look but unable to muster any strength!

Therefore, this was her first time holding little Chu Yi, scrutinizing her at such close range!

Her small, pink face looked so much like her father’s as if carved from the same mold as Xiao Bai when he was little!

Strangely enough, neither of the two children resembled her, both resembling their father! However, it’s because they look like their father that they’re naturally handsome and beautiful!

Looking at little Chu Yi in her arms, Ye Anxin couldn’t help but smile genuinely and contentedly!

As if sensing Ye Anxin’s gaze, little Chu Yi continued drinking milk while blinking her big round eyes, staring at Ye Anxin!

Seeing her daughter’s adorable and cute appearance, the deepest, most tender place in Ye Anxin’s heart was deeply stirred, causing endless ripples!

After drinking her fill, little Chu Yi didn’t cry or fuss, nor did she fall asleep like the night before. Instead, she opened her big round eyes and began to play, occasionally smiling at Ye Anxin!

With each smile, two adorable dimples appeared at the corners of her mouth, making her smile look even sweeter!

Seeing the two dimples on little Chu Yi’s mouth, Ye Anxin seemed to discover a new world, widening her eyes in surprise, ”Look, Unc, little Chu Yi is smiling at me? She actually has dimples, look, aren’t those dimples beautiful?”

Mu Beiting’s gaze had always remained on little Chu Yi. When he saw little Chu Yi smile, the cold, distant demeanor from before was nowhere to be seen, replaced by a layer of soft light, exuding deep affection from within!

Ye Anxin was reluctant to move her gaze even an inch away from little Chu Yi, sincerely marveling, ”Unc, you see, little Chu Yi looks so beautiful with a pair of dimples; she will definitely grow up to be a stunning beauty! Fortunately, she looks like you, not me, otherwise, she wouldn’t be this pretty!”

However, upon closer inspection, Ye Anxin also discovered something!

This child not only looks like her uncle but also resembles Qin Muyao!

Qin Muyao naturally had a seven-point resemblance to her uncle, she just lacked his masculine fortitude and had more of a gentle beauty! Her daughter was the same, lacking the hardness of a boy, possessing a sweet softness unique to females!

Precisely because of these differences, she instead thought little Chu Yi resembled Qin Muyao more than her uncle!

Mu Beiting raised an eyebrow and noncommittally said, ”Are you saying I have no taste?”

”...!” Ye Anxin was stunned, unable to grasp Mu Beiting’s meaning for a moment.

Knowing she hadn’t understood the meaning in his words, Mu Beiting patiently repeated, ”You saying you’re not pretty means I have no taste!”

Upon hearing this, Ye Anxin calmly replied, ”What I said is true! I naturally don’t look as good as you, Unc! Although I admit I’m not as good-looking as Unc, I definitely don’t admit I’m ugly! Besides, different people have different tastes, and you like me probably because I have my unique charm!” Saying this, she didn’t forget to raise her chin and cast a proud glance at Mu Beiting!

Seeing her like this, Mu Beiting couldn’t help but gently tap her dainty, upright nose, ”Vain...!”

Ye Anxin playfully stuck out her tongue and lowered her head to look at little Chu Yi in her arms! Only then did she realize that during their conversation, little Chu Yi was blinking her eyes, intently staring at them as if she understood their conversation, so serious and focused!

Ye Anxin lightly tapped little Chu Yi’s forehead, smiling, ”Little one, can you understand what Mommy and Daddy are saying!”
