The Comeback of the Cannon-Fodder Supporting Actress

Su Mingzhu has always had the image of a gentle and sensible little fairy at school. She gets along well with everyone and has hardly ever embarrassed anyone.

Therefore, when she exploded with anger, she truly shocked her classmates.

Especially those classmates who have known her since middle school.

Everyone watched as she dragged Xiao Mei out.

Xiao Mei cried and shouted, ”What right do you have to kick me out? Even if the school belongs to your family, I haven’t violated any school rules or regulations. I’m not leaving. I absolutely won’t leave.”

Su Mingzhu continued to drag Xiao Mei with a cold face.

Xiao Mei started to curse out loud, ”Su Mingzhu, don’t bully others with your power. Even if I’m not good, our Xiao Family raised your dad, they granted him life; you can’t be ungrateful.”

When the classmates heard Xiao Mei say this, they began to gossip.

Su Mingzhu stopped dragging Xiao Mei and instead turned around and stood on the podium, saying loudly, ”Since Xiao Mei wants to talk about the matters between our families, then I will say it too, to prevent her from throwing dirt at our family.”

She angrily wiped away her tears, ”My surname is Su, naturally my dad’s surname is also Su. He was mistakenly swapped at birth... Xiao Mei said the Xiao Family raised my dad for more than twenty years. Ha, was my dad willing to be raised by the Xiao Family? The ones who got the babies switched weren’t just the Xiao Family, three other families also swapped. But what kind of life did other families’ kids have versus my dad? The Xiao Family says they raised my dad, but actually, they just fed him enough to keep him alive. They never let him go to school, made him work all day. Eventually, my dad realized this couldn’t go on and used working as an excuse to run away. Even then, after recognizing his real relatives, he bought seven houses and seven storefronts for the Xiao Family in the county. Not only did he leave some for Xiao Mei’s grandparents, but also, such as Xiao Mei’s mom, her uncle, all got a set of school district house plus a storefront. These long ago repaid the kind gesture of providing meals. At that time, it was promised that giving the houses would end all ties. Yet, who knew Xiao Mei would bring it up here; now I have to clarify this in front of everyone: regarding this matter, my dad hasn’t wronged in any way, we have no guilt in our hearts.”

At this point, Su Mingzhu’s eyes were clear as she looked at Xiao Mei, ”All these years, the reason you could grow up was entirely because of the rent collected from the shops my dad gave. You were raised with that rent money, others may comment on my dad’s character, but you have no right to say anything bad about him.”

Xiao Mei stood there stunned. She wanted to argue but didn’t know what to say.

After a while, she said, ”That was for fully repaying the kindness of raising him. It’s what your dad should give.”

”Haha.”

Su Mingzhu laughed out of anger, ”Your mom was just my dad’s adopted sister without any blood relation. What kindness of raising could she have given? If it was solely for the kindness of raising him, my dad could have just given your grandparents’ houses. Why bother buying houses for all siblings? Even if my dad was born into your family, he wouldn’t have that obligation, let alone when he’s not; it was because my dad has a good heart, wanting to help siblings a bit. But who knew that this misplaced goodwill would instead make an enemy.”

Li Hui heard this and wanted to support Su Mingzhu.

”Indeed, I’ve only heard of raising parents, never having to raise siblings, especially those who are grown and capable of working. It’s all because Uncle Su has a good heart that he bought houses for your family. Ha, now it seems that the real ungrateful wolves are you, spouting lies, having received immense kindness without gratitude, instead slandering the other party. People like you, we disdain associating with.”

Some classmates who had good relationships with Su Mingzhu began to criticize Xiao Mei.

By this time, the class teacher had already persuaded Mrs. Gu to leave.

She came to the classroom to check on Xiao Mei, wanting to ask her what’s going on but didn’t expect to hear all these words upon entering.

The class teacher immediately put on a stern face, ”Alright, everyone quickly return to your seats.”

Su Mingzhu obediently returned to her seat.

The class teacher glanced at Xiao Mei, ”Xiao Mei, bring your parents tomorrow.”

Xiao Mei was about to cry but had no tears.

After school, Su Mingzhu was still furious, as she walked, she kept cursing Xiao Mei with Li Hui.

At home, Su Mingzhu was too angry to eat dinner.

Xiao Yuan asked her what happened, so she recounted the events of the day.

”If I had known Xiao Mei couldn’t tell right from wrong, I wouldn’t bother with her; she deserved to be hit by Gu Hao’s mom.”

Xiao Yuan’s face also darkened upon hearing.

Su Mingyu put down her chopsticks, looked at Su Mingzhu, and said, ”You should drag her to the principal’s office and have the principal expel her directly.”

”I wanted to drag her, but she clung to the door frame, I couldn’t pull her.”

Su Mingzhu also felt regret, ”Anyway, I don’t want to stay in the same class with her anymore, she’s just too infuriating.”

With his precious daughter upset, Xiao Yuan surely had to help vent her anger.

He immediately called the principal, recounting the day’s events, ”I originally thought kids deserve a chance, so I let her be admitted against the norms, but who knew she would be so ungrateful, the school cannot harbor students with such messy private lives and moral issues.”

The principal understood, ”Alright, Teacher Yu also mentioned today’s events. Tomorrow we will invite her parents over and mandate her transfer.”

Xiao Yuan acknowledged with a sound, ”Please handle it promptly.”

After hanging up, he soothed Su Mingzhu, ”It’s not worth getting angry for such a person, hurry up and eat, and after dinner, dad will take you out to play.”

Only then did Su Mingzhu cheer up.

The next morning, Xiao Yuan went to the school early.

He directly went to the principal’s office, waited a while, and then Scholar Xiao brought Teacher Yu over.

Scholar Xiao was somewhat surprised upon seeing Xiao Yuan.

”Second brother, why are you here?”

Xiao Yuan sneered, ”I can’t take this title of ’second brother,’ I’m not your second brother, I’m just an ungrateful, heartless beast.”

Scholar Xiao was startled, ”Second brother, what are you saying, I...”

Xiao Yuan raised his hand, ”Don’t tell me you don’t think that way. If you didn’t, how could your daughter say such things? These words were directly from your daughter’s mouth.”

Scholar Xiao was frightened, angered, yet shocked, ”That dead girl, she only knows how to talk nonsense. Just wait until I go home and deal with her.”

Then, she grinned widely, offering Xiao Yuan an apology, ”She’s just a child, they speak without thinking, please, second brother, don’t take it to heart.”

Xiao Yuan said nothing, just glanced at the principal.

The principal understood and immediately said, ”Miss Xiao, considering your daughter’s poor behavior at our school and the moral issues, our school has always emphasized cultivating outstanding students. Your daughter does not meet our standards. Today’s invitation is to ask you to handle her transfer procedures.”
