The Interstellar Queen of Scavengers

Chapter 1400: Chapter 1400: Clingy

Both of them reached out for the Spiritual Connector at the same time—

The audience’s hearts were suddenly in their throats!

Who!

Who got it first?

Just as everyone was almost too tense to speak, Shen Sheng grabbed the Spiritual Connector!

Everyone: ”!!!”

Ji You was a step too slow.

Shen Sheng turned her head, looked at Ji You, and with a hint of glee in her tone, said, ”Your arms are short, I got it first.”

Ji You: ”...”

Everyone: ”Pfft haha—”

”Being short is indeed a disadvantage.”

”Being tall does have its benefits.”

”...”

Shen Sheng seemed to see Ji You’s face twitch, so she comforted, ”Don’t be upset, being short isn’t your fault.”

She held onto the Spiritual Connector, ready to connect it to the mech’s console.

Then—

She found she couldn’t connect it mentally!

Shen Sheng immediately realized, ”Your goal wasn’t the Spiritual Connector?”

Ji You curled her lips into an ambiguous smile. In the moment Shen Sheng was distracted, she already grasped the handle of the pilot’s seat, and with a sudden force!

The pilot seat shook violently!

Shen Sheng had no fulcrum, her body swayed, she extended her long arms and actually grabbed onto Ji You’s shoulder, using her shoulder as a pivot, she flipped over and landed steadily inside the cabin!

Of course, Shen Sheng didn’t forget Ji You, she didn’t forget to grab her while leaping out of the pilot seat.

Ji You surprisingly didn’t resist much against this.

Seeing this scene, everyone froze in astonishment. Someone couldn’t help but shout, ”Shen Sheng, don’t trust her!”

”There’s something fishy!”

”She’s got a trick!”

Shen Sheng certainly couldn’t hear this. Actually, everything outside was automatically shielded once she entered the arena, but she was clearly not an innocent fool. She was a battle fanatic, and she obviously knew about Ji You’s unusual behavior!

But Shen Sheng didn’t change her strategy; she still grabbed Ji You and then opened her arms to wrap tightly around Ji You’s neck, smilingly saying, ”Now it’s my turn to cling onto you!”

Earlier Ji You clung onto her, now she clung onto Ji You.

The imitation ability was strong indeed.

Ji You asked, ”Then how long do you plan to cling?”

Shen Sheng tilted her head, pondered for a moment. Just now, the mech’s Spiritual Connector was disturbed by Ji You causing disorder, and all of it hadn’t been detected by her Spiritual Silk, which made Shen Sheng feel a bit surprised! After thinking for a while, Shen Sheng seriously said, ”You are too dangerous, I’ve decided to end this battle.”

”Oh really?” Ji You whispered, ”Whether it ends or not is up to me.”

In the next second, Ji You moved, taking Shen Sheng with her and crashing into the metallic wall of the cabin!

Shen Sheng tried to grab Ji You!

But missed!

Shen Sheng widened her eyes, ”When did you slip away?”

Ji You fell back towards the mech pilot’s seat, grabbed the Spiritual Connector, then smiled broadly at Shen Sheng, ”You’ve been imitating me all this time, the adhesive trick is my invention, knowing how to escape is definitely my forte!”

Shen Sheng frustratedly said, ”Careless mistake.”

”I know your learning ability is strong, you’ll keep trying to imitate me, and your vigilance is high. There are only 2 chances to distract you, and they’re fleeting! Farewell, Shen Sheng.” Ji You said with a cheeky smile.

Ji You had already connected to the Spiritual Connector, gaining control over the mech.

The next second.

Every hatch and switch of the antique mech opened up.

Followed by a violent tremor!

Shen Sheng couldn’t maintain her posture.

The internal defense system of the mech also started repelling Shen Sheng.

Dangerous beams were released from the mech’s interior!

With no protection on her body, her mere flesh couldn’t withstand it. In that moment, she leaped out of the mech’s hatch!

Seeing this, the students of the First Army felt a pang in their hearts!

”Holy crap!”

”What happened?”

”How did it suddenly turn out like this?”

”It’s a blind eye method! Shen Sheng was too naive and got her intentions seen through, allowing Ji You, that cunning and shameless person, to manipulate a series of dizzying operations, which allowed her to seize the mech’s control after a few twists and turns!”

Having lost control of the mech and been driven out by Ji You who now had the upper hand with the mech’s assistance, Shen Sheng was at a severe disadvantage.

No matter how bad or useless the antique mech, it’s still a mech! Barehanded, how can you fight a mech?

Even Shen Sheng can’t manage that.

Many students from the First Army couldn’t bear to watch anymore and raised their hands to cover their eyes, and just then—

Shen Sheng leapt from the mech, suddenly executing a 180-degree twist mid-air, astonishingly landing atop the mech’s big head!

Everyone: ”!!”

Ji You sighed, slightly exasperated, ”Ah! So clingy.”

Shen Sheng held onto the smooth surface of the mech’s head, too smooth to sit securely. She didn’t hesitate, suddenly throwing out a rope from her body, the claw on the end latched securely onto a gap in the mech’s neck.

Then.

With a devilish posture, Shen Sheng began swinging through the air using the rope!

And constantly adjusted direction, dodging Ji You’s attacks! At the same time, holding a hammer, she fiercely struck the mech’s heart area!

That location was the mech’s energy center!

Shen Sheng’s mind was clear, because of a moment’s carelessness, she let Ji You take advantage, now even the mech was gone!

The situation was very dire indeed!

Shen Sheng didn’t like losing, even to someone she really liked and admired like Ji You, she didn’t want to lose.

The situation wasn’t favorable, but it wasn’t without any chance of victory!

At this point, the only plan was to completely destroy the mech, pulling Ji You into an all-out strength contest on equal footing!

Moreover, taking out the energy system was to prevent Ji You from unleashing a Self-Destruction Big Move!

Therefore—

The mech must be destroyed!

Boom!

Boom!

Boom!

The enormous crash sounded overhead, fully showing Shen Sheng’s remarkable strength!

Crack~

A faint sound reached Ji You’s ears, also hit the heart of the audience below!

The mech’s wall was cracking!

Major advantage!

Students from the First Army immediately sat up straight! They had been hopeless before! They thought there was no way to win, but in a blink, Shen Sheng opened up the situation!

No wonder it was Shen Sheng!

So strong!

So at any time, never should anyone be disappointed in Shen Sheng!

At this moment, the students of the First Army were all pumped, faces flushed with excitement!

”Shen Sheng, defeat her!”

”Shen Sheng, smash it! Smash it hard, with force!”

”Smash! Victory is right in front of us!”

...

There was an uproar beneath the stage, a wave of excited shouting, Ji You’s face remained calm and composed, unmoved. She narrowed her eyes, her hand clutching the control switch for the mech’s cannon barrel launcher!
