The Interstellar Queen of Scavengers

Chapter 1387: Chapter 1387: Points Ranking

Once the group of people left, Ji You, sitting in a wheelchair, looked at Yue Qiguang and Lou, revealing a standard smile with eight exposed teeth, and said with a hint of smugness, ”See, it’s necessary to disguise a bit.”

Lou’s mouth twitched and said, ”That’s clearly just hiding.”

”Cough, cough...” Ji You straightened her face and refused to admit it, then she turned to Yue Qiguang. Seeing that apart from his sour expression, he showed no other abnormalities, she laughed and said, ”It seems Spicy Eye is quite considerate of classmates’ friendship, didn’t beat you up too badly.”

Hearing the words ’Spicy Eye,’ Yue Qiguang’s face immediately darkened, ”Don’t mention him to me! I just lost because I didn’t grasp the timing well.”

He refused to admit that he was inferior to Sheng Qingyan.

It was just a matter of luck. If he had aggressively attacked from the start, not leaving any time for the enemy to prepare, how could he have lost?

Ji You and Lou both kindly refrained from further attacking him, Lou said, ”Yue Qiguang, let’s go back and rest. Or you can wait here for all the faction battles to end if you prefer.”

Yue Qiguang furrowed his eyebrows and said, ”Go back for what? I’m not tired at all, I can still fight another match.”

Lou thought for a moment and said, ”Alright then, Ji You and I have also decided to wait here for them to come out.”

Ever since everyone entered the host—the Alliance First Military Academy—Principal Hong and Dr. Luo vanished without a trace. Dr. Luo was alright; after Lou was the first to be eliminated, Dr. Luo specially came to check his body, then stayed to watch over Lou to attend to others if any body’s condition couldn’t be managed with a treatment instrument, and then she left.

As for Principal Hong?

Principal Hong seemed to have forgotten all ten of them before even entering the Alliance First Military Academy, letting them fend for themselves.

Since they decided to stay in the square, Lou did not delay either. He found a long bench, and Yue Qiguang immediately sat down and started pounding his leg, ”I’ll wait here for that idiot Sheng Qingyan, I swear when I see him, I will control the strength of my fist.”

”Give it up,” Lou advised, ”We watched your match with Sheng Qingyan, especially the final part. Honestly, your loss wasn’t unjust, and I think you may not be his match right now.”

Yue Qiguang furrowed his eyebrows, ”I can’t beat him?”

”The scoreboard has been updated.” Lou’s expression suddenly turned serious, ”Ji You, you’re no longer Second, you’re now Third.”

”What?!!!” Ji You thought she heard it wrong and couldn’t help uncovering her hat a bit, saying, ”How could I possibly become Third?”

She focused her eyes and saw that it was true.

And occupying the Second position was none other than Sheng Qingyan.

The faction battle of Camps 7 and 8 had just ended a few seconds ago, the scoreboard’s points updated in real-time, making the giant light screen on the square keep flashing and refreshing...

Sheng Qingyan’s score reached 285 points.

This score is very high, 35 points more than Ji You’s 250 points, placing her in third place! Equivalent to 35 more enemy kills.

Lou said, ”I expected his score to be higher than yours, but I didn’t expect it to be this much higher.”

Ji You remarked, ”Isn’t it because of that idiot Yue Qiguang continually, steadily, and consistently delivering kills to him?” The disparity in their scores mainly stemmed from Sheng Qingyan, as a sniper, killing the enemy camp’s commander Yue Qiguang with a few arrows and then taking advantage of the chaos to keep picking off targets.

Lou glanced at Ji You and said, ”You’re different from him. In his faction battle, it was necessary for him personally to play a decisive role; no one else could easily take the enemy commander’s head from a distance. If he failed, his grand plan might have errors.”

”The people he positioned in the final battleground didn’t have an overwhelming advantage over Yue Qiguang’s troops, relying on those buried bombs. However—” Lou paused for a moment, then continued, ”Bombs are limited, you use one, you have one less. Moreover, in the last moment, he used up all his bombs.

Without bombs, and without enough manpower, he had to rely on his sniper skills to achieve the goal, which carries a great risk,” Lou explained in detail, ”But you’re different.”

Lou looked at Ji You with deep admiration and said, ”Your plan, even without you at the end, could lead your team to final victory.”

Ji You’s strategy, especially towards the end when in a decisive battle with Charles, increasingly minimized her own role. She led the army without stepping too forward, simply relying on team members’ cooperation to achieve the sniping of Charles.

——This is a competent, qualified, and responsible commander, a real army leader.

Ji You couldn’t help but smile hearing Lou’s high praise, ”Brother is so nice, if brother could reward me with a Tiramisu, he’d be even better.”

Lou: ”...”

Yue Qiguang listened silently. After leaving the battlefield, he roughly understood the current situation. He was mentally prepared for Sheng Qingyan and Ji You having high scores. Still, seeing Sheng Qingyan in second place, Yue Qiguang’s face turned dark with frustration, ”I shouldn’t have eliminated his opponents or delivered him easy kills back then.”

But what use are these words now?

Feeling a bit regretful, Yue Qiguang shut his mouth. At the same time, he swore he would look for Sheng Qingyan for a match as soon as he came out.

At the top of the scoreboard was Shen Sheng from the Alliance First Military Academy.

This Shen Sheng’s current score is 301 points, which is very high. He has been firmly holding the top position on the scoreboard without signs of dropping.

Next.

Lou still ranks 10,000th, firmly holding the last place, with no sign of moving up.

Then.

There’s the score of other students from Lanyue Star Military Academy.

Besides Lou, who was already confirmed eliminated, Yu Song failed in the faction battle, scoring only 51 points without any advancement points, also confirmed eliminated.

Although Yue Qiguang ’died’ and left the field early, he launched several assaults after the start and led teams to attack several military bases in the enemy camp, so his score in Camps 7 and 8 was still quite high. He scored a total of 171 points, ranking 7th among the 2,000 students in Camps 7 and 8, successfully advancing.

Seeing his smooth advancement, the tight corners of Yue Qiguang’s mouth quietly relaxed a bit.

Lou and Ji You’s tense mood also relaxed.

Then.

It’s the scores of Chu Jiaojiao, Shen Changqing, Yue Qi, and others.
