The Interstellar Queen of Scavengers

Chapter 1355: Chapter 135: Liu Jia Is Very Happy

The army sets out, morale is high!

Liu Jia is all smiles at this moment, in this battle, he harvested three kills, one was a surprise attack, one was a full-force kill, and the other was a joint effort with others.

These three kills equate to three points, but don’t underestimate these three points, there are just a handful of kills on the entire battlefield, averaging one point per person is pretty good already.

The school behind Liu Jia is considered the underdog among all the participating schools. To put it nicely, it’s at the bottom of the list, but honestly, it’s the last place.

That’s right.

The school behind Liu Jia is the Abeka Military Academy from the Fifth Star System. Just how bad is the Abeka Military Academy? It’s worse than the Akya Star Academy, which hasn’t been established for many years and is located on the Agricultural Star.

Every year, it’s the last place, never missing the spot. Its students are cannon fodder, extras, the first ones to be eliminated. The expectations from the students, or the teachers, for the competitors are solely:

Survive a few more seconds.

Try every possible way to survive a few more seconds, striving each year to break its own survival time record.

Ahem...

Liu Jia’s previous batch had the shortest survival time as 21 seconds and the longest as 15 minutes and 49 seconds. Each competition almost has no time limit; some last for over twenty hours, while others for half a month. Imagine the disparity in strength between people from Abeka Military Academy and other schools?

Ahem...

Of course, this is relative because the opponents Abeka Military Academy faces are formidable schools, even opponents from the top ten universities, which makes it seem weak. While the Alliance’s territory is vast, there are countless schools... Abeka stands out and joins this level of competition, which also indicates it’s still capable.

Every year participating, every year at the bottom, it’s like an unsolvable curse. People at Abeka Military Academy have been ground down to the point of having no temper, thus lowering the expectations for the competitors.

The highest record is 15 minutes and 49 seconds.

Before joining the competition, Liu Jia always remembered his mentor, who smiled and said to everyone: ”Don’t worry, don’t think about anything, keep trying and trying, our goal is—to survive for 16 minutes.”

In the crowd, Liu Jia clutched his palm tightly, secretly saying:

minutes?

Looking this handsome, how could I live only 16 minutes? I certainly look like someone destined to live a long life.

Liu Jia thought confidently and raised his head, meeting eyes with his mentor, whose face was smiling amiably, saying: ”Liu Jia, my expectations for you aren’t high, if you can survive for 6 minutes, I’ll be satisfied.”

Liu Jia: ”...”

Liu Jia was furious! Exploded with anger, but the mentor saying this wasn’t intentionally mocking him, he sincerely believed this.

...

Thinking about this, Liu Jia felt quite content.

Now, not only has he survived for over twenty hours, but also earned points! Importantly, he did not gain these points by luck, but through hard fighting.

Just thinking of the mentors and classmates outside the screen being stunned, Liu Jia was happier, prouder, and more self-satisfied.

At this time, besides Liu Jia, the hearts of He Yu, Wang Xin, and others were also filled with enthusiasm.

Ji You walked at the front of the team, behind him were teammates whose eyes were filled with trust and admiration. Ji You’s stride remained steady as ever, that short, frail body seemed to contain immense energy, making him impossible to ignore and giving his teammates great peace of mind.

The team’s morale was high, then suddenly Ji You poured cold water on it: ”Through our wholehearted cooperation and diligent efforts, we’ve defeated Louise Carter and the nearly 400 people behind him. Are we strong?”

”Strong!” Everyone said in unison.

”Definitely strong.” Ji You smiled, softly saying: ”But the enemy isn’t weak either. Do you know why you could easily defeat them?”

The marching team suddenly paused, temporarily silent.

Ji You chuckled lightly, saying: ”Because they weren’t well-fed. They didn’t sleep well, their morale wasn’t as high as ours; they even lacked the determination to win. Battling such opponents is like fighting a shell, it’s not that hard. However—”

”Do you think the upcoming opponents will be like Louise Carter’s troops?”

”Everything is uncertain for now.” Ji You didn’t even turn his head, his eyes directed straight ahead, saying: ”We can’t make an accurate and stable judgment about the enemy’s real situation, but no worries, if we can’t guess, we don’t, if we can’t understand, we won’t try... everyone should collect themselves, set aside the achievements we’ve gained so far, and focus on each step we take, solidify our determination to win, and step firm on each path.”

”Are you confident?” Ji You shouted fiercely, asking.

”Yes!”

”Louder!”

”Yes!”

They were just 10 kilometers away from Charles Commander Base, the army moved at full speed, quickly reaching the base. Upon arrival, Ji You hadn’t done anything yet, but the enemy was already on high alert.

At Commander Camp Base, everyone looked at each other, momentarily unable to decide what to arrange.

The forward checkpoints set up around the base had retreated step by step due to cold and hunger, leaving only the ’feng shui treasure’ position where Ji You ambushed Louise. However, when He Nu, Gu Peiyuan, and Guan Ning came over, they were already ambushed.

The 6th camp lacked a communication system, information relay was slow, with no news from this side, the base’s leader promptly dispatched new communication personnel, and the result?

Of course, sent into a trap, feeding the enemy.

The night was very dark, and the exact count of enemy troops was unknown.

Someone suggested: ”Why don’t we send out a long-range team to test the enemy’s strength?”

Following these words, the atmosphere stiffened slightly, another person said: ”Save some arrows. Our arrow storage isn’t much; it should be used against steel blades.”

After hearing this, everyone’s face looked a bit unfavorable.

Thus, the atmosphere plunged into stiffness again.

On the other side.

Ji You led the large team, not rushing to attack immediately, instead waiting a while. Liu Jia, He Yu, and others were somewhat puzzled, Liu Jia directly asked: ”Commander, by the way, why didn’t He Nu and the others come directly to support us?”

He Nu, Gu Peiyuan, and Guan Ning led dozens of people, were assigned here to act, and thus did not participate in the battle against Louise.

Where are they?

Why aren’t they showing up?

After Liu Jia asked, He Yu, Wang Xin, and others also turned their heads, looking expectantly at Ji You.
