The Interstellar Queen of Scavengers

Chapter 1395: Chapter 1395: Wild Words and Bold Claims

The old man at the ring turned to Ji You and said, ”Are you sure you want to fight Shen Sheng?”

Ji You replied, ”Don’t say anything, today I must kill her.”

The old man: ”...”

The old man looked at the confident Ji You and laughed, ”Ha—”

”What a big mouth!”

As the person in charge of this ring, students need to apply to him to open the ring. Over the years, he has watched countless matches and seen countless students with exceptional talent and strong power and overflowing confidence.

Ji You is neither the first nor the last, but she is indeed the first student to dare to claim she will kill Shen Sheng.

Not bad.

The old man looked at Ji You differently and asked, ”What’s your name?”

Ji You replied, ”Ji You.”

The old man bowed his head again, carefully reading Ji You’s filled information, and suddenly laughed, saying, ”Ah, turns out you are Old Hong’s student.”

After speaking.

The old man’s expression suddenly turned cold, addressing Shen Sheng, ”Shen Sheng, kill her!”

Seemingly worried that Shen Sheng might not take it seriously, the old man sternly said, ”If you don’t kill her, your opportunity to open the ring will be canceled.” For a battle maniac like Shen Sheng, not allowing her to fight is more agonizing than taking her life.

Indeed.

Shen Sheng clenched her fist: ”Yes.”

Ji You: ”...”

Why did this old man’s attitude change as soon as he heard Principal Hong’s name?

But Ji You was fearless; she looked at the old man seriously and said, ”Old man, you probably haven’t heard my name before, but now you know. I am Ji You, Hong Jiang and Mu Jianling are my teachers.”

The words were a bit over the top.

It’s not Ji You being a student of Hong Jiang and Mu Jianling, but rather Hong Jiang and Mu Jianling being Ji You’s teachers.

The old man raised an eyebrow at Ji You.

Ji You’s expression was naturally confident, and every corner of her eyes and brows exuded flying confidence: ”Don’t be surprised, because one day, Principal Hong Jiang and Teacher Mu Jianling will make a name for themselves worldwide because of me, Ji You.”

After these words, a moment of silence surrounded them.

Arrogant!

Too arrogant!

As students of the top-ranking Alliance First Military Academy, being a student of the First Army, was already arrogant enough, but they didn’t expect there would be someone even more arrogant.

Before the old man could speak, the previously silent students below, after a few seconds of quiet, began to chatter.

Ji You raised her hand to stop the discussions below, and loudly said, ”And my first step to making a name in the world is to kill Shen Sheng, and flatten the Alliance First Military Academy.”

”Hiss—”

”Arrogant!”

”How cocky!”

”Where does she get the nerve?”

”A 2B wanting to flatten our First Army?”

”Does she not know how to write the word ’death’?”

”Can we gang up on her?”

”Count me in!”

”Me too!”

”Let’s go!”

...

At the entrance of the ring, Sheng Qingyan, Yue Qiguang, and Lou exchanged glances. Lou raised his hand to touch his forehead, feeling a little troubled, and said, ”It’s over, if we carry back a corpse, will Teacher Mu kill us?”

Sheng Qingyan rolled his eyes and said, ”Poor dead, what’s up with saying all this nonsense? It’s useless for the match, wastes time, isn’t it better to finish early and go back to sleep? She’s probably going in vertically and coming out horizontally.”

Speaking of this, Sheng Qingyan was reluctant: ”But why does one have to take responsibility for something gone wrong? I’m the universe’s number one little cutie! Why should I clean up after her?”

”I won’t! My hands are so white and clean and pretty, I won’t touch a corpse.”

Evidently, Sheng Qingyan also thought Ji You was courting death.

Yue Qiguang suddenly clapped his hands and said, ”What’s to fear! It’s just fighting, it’s about the fists! Whoever has bigger fists gets to speak loudly! If it were me, 4444 number idiot is not bold enough! With me there, I’d make all of First Army’s idiots come together!”

Lou: ”...”

Sheng Qingyan twitched his mouth corner, directly taking a step back to distance himself from Yue Qiguang, ”I don’t know this person.”

Lou quietly followed, ”Me neither.”

Yue Qiguang scolded, ”You cowards!”

The surrounding First Army students were restless, while the students from other schools looked at Ji You with bewilderment and confusion.

This!

This Ji You—

Though she has strength, clearly boasting is her strongest skill.

Waiting for karma!

...

Meanwhile, the old man looked at Ji You, who was so boastful and talked big, his face darkened, thinking indeed Hong Jiang’s students, none are likable.

Then.

The old man said to Shen Sheng, who was a bit stunned next to him, ”Did you hear? She wants to kill you and flatten your school. If you’re human, kill her for me.”

Shen Sheng: ”...”

Actually, Shen Sheng didn’t like boasting; she didn’t expect Ji You to say such things in front of all First Army people.

Cough cough...

Shen Sheng said, ”Teacher, I can’t kill her this time.”

The old man raised his eyebrows.

Shen Sheng said, ”Because I want to fight her three times, killing once isn’t worth it.”

Everyone: ”...”

”Pfft haha—”

”It’s Shen Sheng herself.”

”That’s so Shen Sheng.”

”Shen Sheng! Fight without worry! Killing her is fine! You can even mock her!”

”Yes! Kill her.”

”Fight!”

The old man heard, and instantly his stern face turned cheerful, smiling, ”The ring privilege is open for you.”

The old man waved his big hand, ”Go ahead.”

Shen Sheng and Ji You walked in side by side.

Other students rushed in eagerly and crowded around.

Ji You was completely indifferent to the skeptical First Army students behind her, and the old man’s words, after all, she had already said everything she wanted.

Whether it’s boasting or talking big, how others see it doesn’t matter to her, next she only needs to give her all!

The ring opened up the spectator seats, and the hurriedly following students began to jockey for the spots with the best view, and soon the good positions were snatched away.

On the ring, Ji You and Shen Sheng stood on opposing ends, looking at each other.

Then.

Both simultaneously spoke.

Ji You said, ”Please teach me.”

Shen Sheng said, ”Please teach me.”

The next second, both simultaneously took out their mecha-specific Space Knots, and when their mechas lit up, the lively atmosphere in the audience instantly froze.

Whoa... it really is an antique mech.

These two actually aren’t joking?

At the square, everyone heard them say they would use antique mechs to compete, but the vast majority of students thought it was just talk.

Turns out it’s true!

The scene instantly grew awkward.

Two black antique mechs, designed in humanoid form, with a bulky body, wide at the top and narrow at the bottom, made the upper body appear slightly heavy, especially with the mechanical arms stretched out, resembling large pincers of a crayfish, with the entire body supported by two sturdy mechanical legs, making the whole mecha look a bit clumsy.

At the time, constrained by technology and materials, the design of antique mechs wasn’t perfect. Over time, the mechanical manufacturing industry has developed very well, not only in humanoid forms but various models; antique mechs with unattractive appearances and simple functionality have been completely swept into history as relics.

The mecha cockpit doors opened, and Shen Sheng and Ji You entered the cockpit simultaneously.
