Reborn As Super Heiress

Chapter 535: Chapter 532: Frantic Profiteering

Thirty years ago, these beads could sell for several millions apiece, and in a century, there have only been a handful of such occurrences, which shows how incredibly rare the Jade Heaven Beads are.

Moreover, those five Heavenly Beads from thirty years ago were only Ice-type, and they caused such a frenzy. Now, the seven Heavenly Beads in Huo Sining’s hands are Glass-type Emeralds. If such a heaven-defying item was truly auctioned, it would probably cause a sensation worldwide.

Liu Yuxuan regretted her decision bitterly, wishing she could buy these beads back at a high price, but unfortunately, for one thing, she couldn’t come up with such a large sum of money, and for another, Huo Sining had no intention of selling them.

Huo Sining didn’t know the true value of these Emerald Heavenly Beads, but in her view, value was secondary. What was important was that she fell in love with them the moment she first saw them.

If it were just ordinary glass-type jadeite, she might have sold them and then gambled on some more, as jade roughs were not only available domestically but also at the Jade Public Plate in Myanmar every year. She was bound to encounter one or two pieces of glass-type jade.

However, these natural Emerald Heavenly Beads were something you couldn’t find even if you sought them. If she sold them, she guessed she wouldn’t encounter them again in her lifetime.

”I’m sorry, everyone, but I do not intend to sell these seven beads.”

Huo Sining smiled faintly and rejected the bids from the crowd. Ouyang Jun and the others had already finished looking at the beads and handed them back to Huo Sining.

Only then did Huo Sining take out a piece of silk from her bag and carefully placed the seven beads back inside, using her backpack to obscure the view of the crowd as she seized the opportunity to put the items into her storage ring.

Those who had called out bids were somewhat disappointed and annoyed, but the beads were Huo Sining’s, and since Huo Sining was unwilling to sell, what could they do?

Even though Huo Sining didn’t understand the significance and value of the Heavenly Beads, she knew very well that such natural treasures couldn’t be bought just with any amount of money; it was also a matter of fate.

If at first it was just discontent, now Liu Yuxuan truly hated Huo Sining.

In Liu Yuxuan’s view, if not for Huo Sining, those instant Emerald Heavenly Beads would belong to her, and seeing Huo Sining with a smile on her face rejecting those bids, Liu Yuxuan felt both regret and hatred, even harboring murderous thoughts.

”Sister Liu, are you alright?” Zhou Jiajia saw that Liu Yuxuan’s face was looking awful and couldn’t help but ask with concern.

”It’s nothing, let’s go.” Liu Yuxuan suppressed the surging emotions in her heart, cast a cold glance at Huo Sining in the center of the crowd, and turned to walk towards the square’s exit.

Huo Sining didn’t know that because of these few Emerald Heavenly Beads, she had provoked an enemy.

But it wasn’t her fault. Stone Gambling was, after all, a matter of skill, and transactions with payment completed were always voluntary for both parties. Huo Sining didn’t force Liu Yuxuan to sell the roughs.

Besides, if Huo Sining hadn’t bought it, Liu Yuxuan would definitely have given up on that piece of rough anyway. Buying it from her was nothing out of the ordinary, so Huo Sining couldn’t imagine that Liu Yuxuan would hate her because of this.

Su Qingqing and Bai Yishan were somewhat bewildered, as the turn of events had been too rapid for them to catch up with.

The piece of Mogang rock that was previously considered worthless waste suddenly became a hot commodity in Huo Sining’s hands. With just a few bright spots, she actually cut out expensive beads worth millions.

Even Ouyang Jun and Qin Tian couldn’t help but admire Huo Sining’s sharp eye and uncanny luck.

In Ruili, there’s hardly a shortage of anything except stone cutting machines, and Wu Jun easily found someone to help rent out a store with a stone cutting machine, securing a whole set of stone cutting tools.

Having no money is always a problem. During the day, Huo Sining looked at a lot of roughs, and at night she started stone gambling in the rented warehouse.

Although Huo Sining bought quite a few roughs during the day on Ruili Gambling Street, she didn’t process all of them, but selectively cut about a dozen mid-grade jadeite, saving the few high-grade fine pieces for later.

She just wanted to gather money to participate in the Ruili gambling plate. Selling these mid-grade jadeite would accumulate funds, while she decided to keep the high-grade jadeite for the studio.

Qin Tian’s grandfather was the president of the Imperial Capital Jade Association, and he too had a minor official role within the association. Therefore, he had contacts with many jadeite merchants in the country. Huo Sining cut more than ten pieces of jadeite that night, and the next day she asked Qin Tian to help her sell them quickly.

Qin Tian was very efficient in getting the job done, so by the next afternoon, Huo Sining’s account had received a sum of over ten million.

The speed of making money was truly exceptional, and Huo Sining was very pleased with it. So, for the next several days, she went on a buying spree on the Ruili Gambling Stone Street.

With the aid of her Heavenly Eye Skill, she checked almost all the fully gambled roughs on Jade Street, purchasing over a hundred pieces.

Of these roughs, she carefully selected about forty pieces that were of a grade no lower than glutinous and quietly tucked them away in her space. The rest she processed, and once these were cut, she had Qin Tian help her sell them off just the same.

With the Ruili gambling plate about to begin, there were quite a few jade merchants in Ruili to participate in the jade public plate. It wasn’t just about seventy or eighty pieces of jade roughs anymore, even ten times that amount could find buyers easily.

Therefore, the jade that Huo Sining had cut found buyers the moment it was revealed, without any need to painstakingly search for them.

In just five short days, Huo Sining’s account swelled by more than sixty million, which truly was business as easy as picking money off trees.

Ouyang Jun and Qin Tian were stunned by Huo Sining’s method of rapid wealth accumulation. Both of their enterprises were considerable, yet neither had such a speed of making money. In less than a week, this woman was insanely efficient.

Originally, Ouyang Jun looked down upon Gu Xu, who was like an old cattle eating tender grass. Now, he was left only with admiration and envy. Damn, that young man had sharp eyesight, finding such an impressive girl. She was practically a money tree, a cornucopia!

Qin Tian also felt regret in his heart. If he had known Huo Sining was so formidable, he would have fought with Gu Xu, even if it meant brawling, to snatch this young lady away. That would solve the issue of finding a wife, his grandfather would stop nagging, and he would have married a Goddess of Wealth—definitely a good deal with double benefits!

With deep resentment in their hearts, Ouyang and Qin Tian caused Gu Xu, far away in the Imperial Capital, to sneeze uncontrollably. Inside the meeting room, the woman sitting opposite him looked up with concern, took out a handkerchief with a distinctive feminine fragrance from her pocket, and asked in a gentle voice, ”A Xu, do you have a cold?”
