Reborn As Super Heiress

Chapter 506: Chapter 502: Splitting Half with You

Xu Lian was frustrated and watched helplessly as the five million yuan check was grasped in Wu Jun’s hand, yet there was nothing she could do but wait until she returned to Baiyun Village to deal with it.

After handling this matter, Huo Sining left the rental accommodation. She had driven there and upon retrieving her car from the parking area outside the resettlement zone, she once again sensed the presence of a stranger behind her.

Huo Sining’s footsteps paused, and a trace of coldness flashed in her eyes, ”Come out! You’ve been following me for several days now, aren’t you tired?”

There was no response from behind her. Shaking her head, Huo Sining didn’t say anything further and focused on driving to Bai Yishan’s shop.

In the Imperial Capital, Huo Sining had bought some souvenirs and specialties, including a gift for Bai Yishan. Since she hadn’t seen Bai Yishan for some time, Huo Sining took this opportunity to deliver it in person and to see how the business at Jade Beauty was doing.

Bai Yishan hadn’t expected Huo Sining to visit and was both surprised and delighted, ”You’re back from Taicheng?”

Huo Sining nodded and took the gift for Bai Yishan out of the car, ”Look, I brought back quite a few things from the Imperial Capital, this is for you.”

Bai Yishan accepted the gift with a cheerful smile. Only then did Huo Sining ask, ”How’s the business been lately?”

When it came to business, Bai Yishan’s face lit up with pride, ”Do I even need to say? Ever since we hired Master Yan, our shop’s business has been getting better and better, with many repeat customers who all praise the high quality of our products.”

As she spoke, Bai Yishan suddenly remembered something, pulled out a document envelope from her desk and handed it to Huo Sining, ”Oh, right, this is for you, sign here.”

”What’s this?” Huo Sining looked puzzled as she opened the document envelope and pulled out the papers inside.

--”Jade Beauty” Share Limited Company Share Distribution Scheme, Shareholders: Bai Yishan, Huo Sining.

Huo Sining’s gaze fell on the last clause of the agreement, which stated that she owned 50% of the shares in ”Jade Beauty.” Seeing this, she was immediately taken aback.

”Sister Yishan, what’s this...” Huo Sining asked, puzzled, looking at Bai Yishan.

Bai Yishan broke into a smile, ”Don’t be shocked. Actually, I made up my mind about this back when I first opened this studio. However, at that time, I had no guarantee that the studio would take off and I was afraid that if I asked you to partner with me, it would be a burden on you, so I didn’t dare drag you into this.”

”I had the agreement drafted before the end of the year and was planning to have you sign it, but then you suddenly went off to the Imperial Capital. I didn’t get a chance to find you, so it had to wait until now.”

”As for the supply of original materials, it will still follow the original plan, where you provide the materials and the studio will buy them at market price. That part won’t put you at a loss.”

After hearing Bai Yishan’s words, Huo Sining was even more confused. According to the original plan, Bai Yishan would have to pay for the raw materials from her, but now, without any change in the original plan, she was just giving her half of the shares for free, wasn’t that allowing her to directly take half of the profits?

Perhaps guessing what was on Huo Sining’s mind, Bai Yishan didn’t hold back and got straight to the point, ”I know you must be confused, but I didn’t make this decision without consideration.”

”My studio’s success hinges on the raw materials you lent me back then. Without that jadeite raw stone, I’d probably still be struggling desperately and hitting dead ends everywhere.”

”Master Yan agreed to come out of retirement to help us because of you, if it were just me asking, I would definitely have come back empty-handed.”

”And another thing, I know you have connections in the Imperial Capital, whether it’s the Huang Family or Gu Xu, they should be considered families with a certain status in the Imperial Capital.”

”I’m not without ambition, but before, I didn’t have the confidence and just wanted to open a studio in S City to get by quietly, but now that the company has so many clients and business, my thoughts have completely changed.”

”You want to expand the studio to the Imperial Capital?” Huo Sining understood the implication in Bai Yishan’s words.

Bai Yishan raised her head, her gaze fixed steadily on Huo Sining:

”Not just the Imperial Capital, if conditions allow, even the national and international markets are possible, but I can’t do it alone. I have no power or background, and this kind of thing can’t be accomplished by ambition alone, so I need your help.”

Huo Sining nodded, Bai Yishan’s ambition might be big, but it wasn’t unwarranted.

Huo Sining hadn’t really considered the potential for a studio like ”Jade Beauty” to grow, but now seeing Bai Yishan managing the studio so vividly, she indeed felt a bit tempted.

Back when she was in the Imperial Capital, she even thought about whether to cooperate with Su Group’s Donghua and have Su Jinyuan help her with the certification, to refurbish the shop she had in Wangfujing in the Imperial Capital, and open her own jewelry store. However, she never expected that as soon as she nodded off, someone would bring her a pillow.

If ”Jade Beauty” is to expand its market, it would certainly need to find a storefront in the Imperial Capital. Now with this agreement, Huo Sining wouldn’t need to ask Su Jinyuan for help anymore—it wouldn’t be a bad idea to partner with Bai Yishan.

Although Bai Yishan was quite ambitious, she was an open and straightforward person, who didn’t beat around the bush. While strong-willed, she was neither arrogant nor blindly self-important; such a person was not only suitable as a friend but also a great business partner.

”Alright, I won’t get involved with the studio’s product design and processing, but leave the materials, promotion, and external relations to me.”

Huo Sining didn’t put on airs and quickly signed her name on the document. Having gained half the shares of the studio for nothing, she couldn’t just freeload without working, so she took on the activities she could help with.

A smile immediately appeared on Bai Yishan’s face: ”Good, the market in S City has basically stabilized now, next we’ll focus on breaking into the Imperial Capital’s jewelry market.”

Huo Sining asked with a smile, ”Do you have a plan?”

Bai Yishan pulled out another document from under the table and pushed it over: ”According to my plan, I hope to choose a location for the store before May, have the branch open at the beginning of June, and officially establish ’Jade Beauty’ in the Imperial Capital. By the end of June, we can participate in this major event.”

Huo Sining looked down at the document Bai Yishan had given her and couldn’t help but pause: ”An international jewelry exhibition?”

”Right, news about this international jewelry exhibition came out last April, but it was only rumors until recently when it was officially confirmed.”

Bai Yishan’s eyes shone brightly, clearly full of aspiration for the jewelry exhibition.

”Not only domestic companies, but also many foreign jewelry companies will participate. My idea is that we, ’Jade Beauty,’ also apply for a booth at the exhibition, striving for a situation where if we do not succeed, we remain unnoticed; but if we do, we take everyone by storm.”
