The Ace Bigshot Becomes A Farmgirl

Meng Yunzheng whispered to the others, ”Watch the situation, and adapt accordingly.”

Lord Cheng and his men were all fully prepared, pushing the women further back.

The next moment, the door was pushed open, Cheng Wu walked in, his face looking somewhat unpleasant, and said, ”Young Master Meng, come with me.”

Before he finished speaking, Rong Hou behind him closed the door, and upon hearing the ’bang’ sound, Cheng Wu just about to turn his head was suddenly pushed by Rong Hou.

Then he heard him speak, ”Move, act now.”

Meng Yunzheng reacted the fastest, drawing the Soft Sword from his waist and thrusting it towards Cheng Wu.

But the latter was no novice, he narrowly dodged and escaped. Immediately followed by his shout towards the outside, ”Rong Hou is a traitor.”

Before he finished speaking, Lord Cheng, eyes reddened, took advantage of Cheng Wu holding off Meng Yunzheng’s sword tip, and instantly stabbed a dagger into his chest.

Cheng Wu looked in shock at his chest stained crimson, and then his neck was jabbed by the eldest son of the Cheng Family.

Only a few breaths later, Cheng Wu slowly collapsed backward.

The others still hadn’t reacted when the door was hit open once again, and Meng Yunzheng only had time to shout, ”Act,” as he rushed out first, engaging with the guards called over by Cheng Wu’s shout.

Lord Cheng handed the dagger to his eldest son, picked up Cheng Wu’s weapon from the ground, and followed to fight.

Xia Yan and Ying Xi leaped outside, and other able members of the Cheng Family grabbed weapons and headed out one after another.

Shu Yu stayed inside the room, overseeing, while Rong Hou shifted his eyes and quickly retreated behind her, nervously whispering, ”What should we do? You only have a few people; there are so many guards outside, is it really okay?”

Shu Yu glanced at him, watching the situation outside and asked, ”What’s with Cheng Wu? Why did he come?”

”Didn’t you say to act today? I was alone, preparing many things, so it made quite a bit of noise. Cheng Wu already didn’t like me, so he got suspicious and wanted to go out this morning. I worried he was going to report it, so I intentionally let someone tell him something was wrong with Meng Yunzheng, thinking he’d want to make a contribution so he’d come to check. I hurried over, wanting to inform you in advance, to lure him into the room to kill him. Who knew he came quickly, I had just reached outside the courtyard when he arrived, so I had to enter with him.”

Shu Yu understood, ”Cheng Wu was an accident, but what about other matters, are they okay? Is my master settled?”

”All sorted, I hid the Dongqing Temple master. I have drugged all guards in Cheng Mansion, but the effects take some time. What I’m worried about now is, with fighting happening here, other guards will hear and run out to report. If even one runs out, we’re done for.”

”Don’t worry, they won’t be able to escape.”

Rong Hou’s face twitched, thinking, with just a few of you, you really confident you can hold so many?

However, what he didn’t know was that at that moment, some guards indeed realized something was off.

Half of the archers on the roof were unconscious, and the rest were so weak they couldn’t pull their bows. Even if they did, they couldn’t aim properly.

Some immediately dropped their bows wanting to leave and report, but before they got off the roof, they were hit in the chest by arrows shot from afar, tumbling off the roof.

Soon after, seven or eight people arrived outside Cheng Mansion, killing all guards trying to escape on the spot.
