Transmigrated as a Peasant Baby Who is Pampered by All

Chapter 505: Chapter 313: Bees

As soon as it was slightly quiet, the ’buzzing’ sound from the bushes ahead could be heard.

”It’s bees!” Ling’er exclaimed, her eyes lighting up as she quickly searched through the masan tree bushes ahead.

The masan tree is a relatively short perennial shrub, and they generally grow in clusters.

Masan trees are very brittle; they break with a slight snap.

Ling’er patted Xiao Hei’s head, ”You guys wait here, I’ll go check where it is.”

Just following the buzzing sound, she would definitely be able to find where the bees were.

Xiao Hei didn’t think his master needed to go through such trouble; he just bent down and squeezed right in.

”Hey, Xiao Hei, wait.” Ling’er didn’t think too much and quickly followed him.

A tree branch caught her hair, and Ling’er just exerted a little force, and the branch snapped.

But this time, Xiao Hei actually stopped very quickly, barking at a certain place above their heads.

And the buzzing sound grew even louder.

When Ling’er looked closely, her eyes widened: ”It’s so big!”

Indeed, the beehive was almost as big as a basin, wrapped around several tree branches, just about twenty centimeters above her head.

Maybe the bees sensed the commotion outside, and suddenly many flew out, startling Ling’er into a shiver as she immediately squatted on the ground.

But the bees were hovering overhead, making her scalp tingle.

Xiao Hei, on the other hand, seemed unaware, with his head held high, looking full of fighting spirit, even intending to bark!

Ling’er was taken aback and hurriedly pressed Xiao Hei’s head down to the ground.

”Are you seeking death? Even bees can sting people!”

Even though Xiao Hei had thick fur, there were still places like his nose and around his eyes that could be stung, right?

A chubby bee landed on a leaf in front of Ling’er, its stinger on its rear clearly visible, like a knight carrying a sharp sword, particularly brave and fearless.

Fortunately, since it didn’t sense any attack, the bee soon went back, and Ling’er let out a long breath of relief; thankfully, she was rescued.

She lifted a hand to her forehead only to find cold sweat breaking out.

Seizing the back of Xiao Hei’s neck, Ling’er led it forward for a few steps, crawling on her stomach, then plopped down and sat on the ground, looking at the huge beehive not far away with lingering fear.

If she had disturbed them just now and all the bees had come out, who knows what might have happened.

However, it was impossible for her to give up just like that; such a large beehive, there must be so many bees inside.

The space inside not only is eternally spring but also automatically adjusts to the most suitable climate for the crops planted.

Not to mention the fruit trees; if she really managed to move this beehive into the space and let Ling’er plant a few acres of rapeseed, harvesting rapeseed honey wouldn’t be bad at all; she could totally sustain them.

Maybe as the space upgrades, not only could they collect the honey inside the space, but they could also develop more bees.

The more she thought about it, the more she felt it was good, and the more she believed this beehive couldn’t be easily given up!

Thinking like this, Ling’er looked at the beehive in front of her, her eyes trailing along the tree branches, and suddenly an idea struck her.

”Got it!”

With a conscious entry into the space, in the next second, coming back to her senses, there was an item in her hand—a wire saw!

Like a rope, but exceptionally sharp, sawing such thin tree trunks without worrying about causing too much vibration and releasing the bees.

She tested the grip, put on thick gloves, and threaded the wire saw through several tree branches wrapped by the beehive.

Then she stepped back a bit, took a deep breath, and slowly pulled the wire saw.

The vibration was already very small, but after all, the branches were wrapped by the beehive. After a few pulls, quite a few bees flew out, buzzing around the beehive.

Ling’er’s brow twitched a few times, feeling her trypophobia being triggered; so many little bees were not cute at all.

But her hands remained slow and steady pulling the chain, and the little bees didn’t sense any danger and gradually went back.

Ling’er let out a long sigh of relief, scared to death.

The branches weren’t close together, nor were they growing on one main trunk, but Ling’er started sawing the middle branch first, with the sides still having relatively thicker trunks supporting the beehive, so sawing it wouldn’t cause too much movement.

As mentioned before, masan trees are very brittle.

The last two branches supporting the entire beehive, Ling’er only sawed them halfway, so it wouldn’t topple all at once.
