Inheritance of Two Trillion

Chapter 2906: Chapter 2025: Miss Clark (Part 2)

He basically has no identification.

Bai Xiaosheng thought about calling Fei’er, deciding to deal with these two people first.

Just then, someone walked up.

It was a woman who at first glance appeared very young, very beautiful, with fair and delicate skin like condensed cream, long flaxen hair elegantly pinned at the back, blue eyes and red lips, looking just like a princess from a fairy tale world.

However, upon closer inspection, there were faint fine lines at the corners of her eyes; she was evidently not young, merely well-maintained.

As soon as they saw this person, the two gatekeeping staff immediately cast Bai Xiaosheng aside, welcoming her with smiles.

”Miss Clark!”

”You’re here!”

Miss Clark?

Bai Xiaosheng’s mind raced, flipping through the roster of corporate leaders in the Sixth Business Division in his mind, pinpointing one person.

Rumored to be ageless beauty, eternally youthful entrepreneur, Ai Clarke, now forty years old, still single, consistently admired by both the business and entertainment circles.

What’s interesting is that this woman is extremely business-savvy, managing a remarkably large enterprise, yet she does not rely on Mrs. Margery; her enterprise has no dealings with the Morgan Vice Chairman family nor the Caroline Family, making her a refreshing figure.

Bai Xiaosheng’s mind sifted through this data, his gaze fixed on the woman.

After a courteous exchange with the two staff members, Miss Clark sensed someone watching and turned her beautiful eyes toward him.

She saw a very young man, smiling, seemingly ordinary at first glance, but with unfathomably deep eyes.

Clark was instantly intrigued, and smiled slightly at Bai Xiaosheng, saying, ”Sir, may I know if we’ve met before?”

”Miss Clark, it seems we are meeting for the first time.” Bai Xiaosheng smiled, stepping half a step closer, whispering, ”However, I have long heard of your name! Congratulations on advancing to the top four contenders for the position of Executive President in the Sixth Business Division; I am rooting for you going forward.”

Bai Xiaosheng’s words made Clark’s smile slightly stiffen, her eyes flashing with surprise.

It should be noted that her advancement in the competition for Executive President was not publicly disclosed, purely news within a small circle; among the hundred to two hundred attendees today, no more than twenty were privy to this.

How did this young man know? What is his identity?

Clark was suddenly very curious about Bai Xiaosheng’s identity.

Bai Xiaosheng, however, did not say more, just smiled and stepped aside.

One staff member was opening the door for Clark, while the other, full of smiles, invited her, ”Miss Clark, please enter.”

Clark smiled at the two and asked them to hold on while she turned to Bai Xiaosheng, ”Sir, aren’t you coming in as well?”

Being privy to such high-level secrets, Clark determined Bai Xiaosheng was not ordinary.

Bai Xiaosheng smiled, glancing at the two men, saying, ”I must verify my guest credentials before entering; Miss Clark, feel free to go ahead, we can chat later.”

Bai Xiaosheng was very casual.

It seemed that his identity was being questioned.

Clark glanced at the two staff members, then half-jokingly suggested to Bai Xiaosheng, ”Perhaps I can vouch for you.”

Based solely on Bai Xiaosheng knowing about her competition success, Clark was confident Bai Xiaosheng could enter, even though she’d never met him before.

Yet not having met wasn’t surprising, nor was his youth.

The myriad powerful enterprises within the Sixth Business Division and newly established ones spring up like mushrooms after the rain, making it impossible to know everyone.

Knowing high-level secrets served as identification.

Bai Xiaosheng smiled at the two staff members asking, ”Is that alright?”

One staff member hesitated slightly, but seeing Miss Clark looking over, immediately smiled, ”If Miss Clark speaks for him, naturally it’s no problem.”

Upon hearing this, Clark offered Bai Xiaosheng a radiant smile, extending a jade-like hand invitingly.

Bai Xiaosheng graciously nodded, taking the lead entering, with Miss Clark following behind.

The two staff members watched, their eyes reflecting something profound. ℯℯ𝘭.𝘤ℴ𝘮

Clark, beautiful and wealthy, still single, had many gossipers naturally spinning tales of romantic affairs, the most common being that the rich lady has a preference for young and handsome men.

Now, upon meeting and exchanging a couple of words, Clark was immediately charmed, smiling deeply, voluntarily vouching for him, quite an intriguing scenario.

That young man with black hair and eyes, he certainly has remarkable luck!

The two staff members’ minds were full of jealousy and envy.

Bai Xiaosheng and Miss Clark entered the ballroom together; inside the grand hall, there weren’t many people, only dozens scattered about, giving it quite a chill.

”Today, just a hundred to two hundred are present, quite wasting this grand ballroom.” Miss Clark mused with a sigh, then smiled at Bai Xiaosheng, nodding toward a bar in a corner, ”There’s drinks and sofas over there, sir, care for a drink?”

Bai Xiaosheng chuckled at the suggestion, ”Naturally, I’d love to, but Miss Clark, shouldn’t you greet some people? Upon entering, you’ve attracted at least ten to twenty gazes. They’re all your colleagues, and if you become Executive President, you’ll surely need their support.”

As they spoke, the two made their way to the sofa area.

Clark snorted softly, indifferently saying, ”Right now, nobody here catches my eye.”

”How do you know I’m an exception?” Bai Xiaosheng replied with a smile.

Clark looked Bai Xiaosheng up and down, smiling, ”You look very young, but I look young too. Judging by looks is foolish; you have an aura that no one here possesses.”

Could it be, she has guessed my identity.

Bai Xiaosheng thought silently.

Although they’d never met before, Bai Xiaosheng figured he should have gained significant renown in the Sixth Business Division.

Bai Xiaosheng was not conceited, but facts were facts.

”Over the past year, the Sixth Business Division has seen the establishment of many new enterprises, with a shortage of management talent. Mrs. Margery petitioned headquarters to bring in young talents from Asia and Europe, appointing those under fifty to leadership roles. I suspect you’re one of those.” Clark concluded with certainty.

Bai Xiaosheng attentively noticed Clark’s facial expressions and emotions, realizing her words weren’t fabricated.

She truly didn’t know his identity.

As for what Clark mentioned about bringing in young talents for key roles, Bai Xiaosheng was naturally clear about it, even knowing Mrs. Margery’s intentions for such selections.

Young people mean more vigor, more enthusiasm, more desire to establish achievements.

They don’t have the reservations of those who are well-known, middle-aged individuals who have chosen sides long ago and find it difficult to try again.

Additionally, nobody anticipated Margery daring to utilize the young, making preemptive planning impossible.

From various perspectives, it was a smart decision.

Bai Xiaosheng smiled softly, ”Miss Clark, you are indeed astute.”

Clark laughed gently, ”Guessing isn’t my forte; I’m better at management, decision-making, and choices.”

Clark’s words weren’t self-aggrandizing.

Recalling her achievements in business management, Bai Xiaosheng couldn’t help but nod in agreement.

”Actually, I almost thought you were that legendary figure, the business president from Asia.” Clark suddenly chuckled.

”Why am I not?” Bai Xiaosheng asked with a smile.

Clark glanced at him, ”I feel he should be a bit older than you, more serious and commanding; you smile too much.”

Bai Xiaosheng rubbed his nose.

”And besides, that person should be thousands of miles away, and even if he came, how could he possibly be naively blocked outside? Surely, Mrs. Margery wouldn’t allow such a thing to happen.” Clark laughed.

What else could Bai Xiaosheng say; he sighed.

”You’re quite right; if he came, how could he foolishly let anyone block him outside.”
