Inheritance of Two Trillion

Chapter 2783: Chapter 1970: Two Pieces of Good News (Part 2)

The small and medium-sized merchants want to hear substantive news, good news, preferably news that will allow them to thrive alongside great success.

Auston and others smiled at Leifer, while Tieluoga also paid close attention.

”The first good news is that the spice freighter has already departed from Huaxia and will soon arrive in Kustiel! Our supply is secured, and the quantity we’re bringing in exceeds our current reserves!”

Leifer proclaimed loudly, ”I have discussed with six major companies, and a portion of these goods will be supplied to everyone here at a preferential price!”

”It is the industry’s fortune that everyone can overcome difficulties together!”

This news practically drove the small and medium-sized spice merchants present into a frenzy.

They came here tonight seeking a means of survival.

Unexpectedly, it was indeed a trip worth making, as a way out has appeared!

Many were even so overwhelmed with joy that they burst into tears, dancing with excitement.

Leifer watched the noisy scene before him with a smile, not attempting to stop it.

He, too, was very excited.

Standing in front of everyone to announce this news, Leifer was confident he would become a leader in the industry, gaining both fame and fortune!

This was all thanks to Bai Xiaosheng, who wasn’t greedy for fame and fortune, giving him the opportunity.

For this, Leifer was sincerely grateful to Bai Xiaosheng.

After allowing enough time for everyone to express their excitement, Leifer asked the crowd to quiet down.

The excited crowd gradually calmed.

Someone suddenly asked, ”Mr. Leifer, you mentioned discussing with six major companies; aren’t there five? Where did the sixth come from?”

The others also immediately looked curious.

Auston and the four others were standing there, so where was the sixth major company?

Leifer smiled upon hearing this, and declared loudly, ”This brings me to the second piece of good news I have for you all. From now on, a new major company will emerge in the spice markets of surrounding countries, called the ZeroScents Group. A company starting from scratch in the spice business yet able to match the Big Five, its emergence will be a fortunate event for our industry!”

This news left the surrounding merchants astonished, looking at each other in disbelief.

Compared to the first piece of news, what kind of good news is this...

And where did this emerging company come from, able to be accepted by the Big Five, isn’t it competing for market share?

What is fortunate about this for the industry...

Leifer continued aloud, ”The spice freighter this time is being led by ZeroScents Group, and when it is officially established, all five major spice merchants will invest in it!”

This statement immediately shocked the crowd.

This announcement was practically an endorsement from the five major spice merchants!

Leifer then brought Tieluoga forward and addressed the crowd, ”This gentleman, Mr. Tieluoga, will be the first general manager of ZeroScents Group!”

At this point, everyone’s eyes focused on Tieluoga.

Even Auston and the others looked quietly astonished.

Tieluoga himself was taken aback.

With such a Huaxia-flavored name, Tieluoga had guessed to whom ZeroScents Group belonged.

Yet, he never imagined he would be the first general manager!

This must have been arranged by Bai Xiaosheng.

But for such an important company, Tieluoga wondered how he could be qualified!

Tieluoga was truly both excited and uneasy, his gaze couldn’t help but seek out Bai Xiaosheng.

Leifer discreetly gave him a signal.

Tieluoga took a deep breath, no longer searching for Bai Xiaosheng with his eyes, but instead facing the astonishment and discussions from all sides calmly.

Among the crowd, Steven was so shocked his jaw nearly dropped, followed by an indescribable look of dejection.

After today, he had no more standing to mock Tieluoga; should they meet on the street, he’d likely slink away to avoid him, recognizing that having a good father wasn’t as lucky as Tieluoga’s natural fortune...

Amongst the gasps of amazement, Leifer continued, ”Actually, there’s one more piece of good news, which is that our companies are planning to jointly establish a broadly inclusive industry alliance. By joining our alliance, you will enjoy the protection and benefits it offers. Although the quantity of spices arriving this time is considerable, it is still somewhat challenging to accommodate everyone...”

This sentence silenced the entire audience, followed by a fervent uproar.

”I am willing to join the alliance!”

”So am I!”

”Count me in as well!”

The small and medium-sized spice merchants had never shown such enthusiasm.

Hearing this, Leifer exchanged a silent smile with Auston and the others.

Outside the crowd, Bai Xiaosheng also broke into a smile.

The spice business of the ZeroScents Group was just one aspect; the geographical and resource advantages of Kustiel and nearby island nations provide unique opportunities for business expansion in the future.

This group also belongs personally to Bai Xiaosheng, considering that going through the complete corporate procedure to establish a group subsidiary is too cumbersome.

Bai Xiaosheng had also discussed this with Leifer and the others in the lounge.

Only, he replaced ”I” with ”my friend”.

”My friend’s” ZeroScents Group.

Of course, the trade of goods remains handled by a Zhenbei Group subsidiary, also expanding a business line for the Greater China Region, generating additional revenue for the group.

Returning to the present, as the excitement among Leifer and the other guests calmed down somewhat, the conversation continued.

”Everyone, please don’t be overly excited. Whether it’s spice transportation or the formation of the alliance, we have everything properly arranged. Rest assured, everyone will be informed in due time!”

As Leifer spoke, he took a cocktail from a nearby staff member, raising his glass, ”Today, let’s talk not of business, but enjoyment!”

The guests immediately beamed, raising their glasses.

Auston and the five spice merchants, along with Tieluoga, were also given a cocktail, raising their glasses in unison.

For all the merchants present, this gathering was certainly worth celebrating.

Next, the gala moved into a phase of free exchanges.
