Inheritance of Two Trillion

Chapter 2758: Chapter 1959: Lending a Helping Hand (Part 2)

”I’ll repay the money I owe you, but I don’t have any money right now.” The young man named Tieluoga sighed as he answered.

Baldy ignored these words, smiled, and leaned down to look at Bai Xiaosheng, Lin Weiwei, and Lei Ying, ”Oh, are these your friends? By their outfits, they all look like wealthy people.”

”Hey, how about helping your friend out?”

As he spoke, Baldy moved closer to Lin Weiwei, sniffed her indulgently, ”Wow, that smells nice, and she’s pretty too. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen such a hot Asian woman.”

Baldy’s companion saw this and whistled.

”Hey beauty, let’s be friends. I’m really strong, and I can last a long time.”

”Me too, I’m way better than him.”

”Haha, don’t listen to that guy bragging; he’s not as good as me.”

”Hey, look at this big guy, got some muscles, but sitting there like a girl.”

These men were shamelessly cracking vulgar jokes.

Lin Weiwei’s face was as cold as ice, and Lei Ying’s eyes beside her were already shining with icy light.

However, before Bai Xiaosheng spoke up, none of them uttered a word.

”These people have nothing to do with me; we don’t know them, so please don’t give them a hard time.” Tieluoga said urgently.

”You brat, did I let you speak!” Baldy’s expression darkened, and he swung his hand over.

Tieluoga’s vision blurred, only feeling a gust of wind coming towards him, he instinctively closed his eyes out of panic.

But that slap didn’t hit his face.

Tieluoga opened his eyes to find the ”friend” next to him had caught Baldy’s wrist, blocking it.

”Don’t get rough, we are his friends, we can give you the money, but this is not the place to talk.” Bai Xiaosheng said unhurriedly.

The surrounding passengers were watching and whispering among themselves.

Baldy frowned, looked Bai Xiaosheng up and down, then laughed, withdrew his hand, ”Alright kid, you look weak, but you’ve got quite some hand strength. Okay, let’s find another place to talk.”

Then, Bai Xiaosheng, the three others, and Tieluoga, surrounded by the others, left the cabin and went to a secluded area at the stern.

Once they arrived, Baldy sat down on a pile of debris, like a king, and said to Bai Xiaosheng with a half-smile, ”Kid, inside you said you’d pay for him, you’d better be serious, because I hate being played. If you can’t come up with the money, I’ll break your bones.”

Tieluoga looked anxiously at Bai Xiaosheng, regretting getting them involved with these people.

The debt collectors present were not kind people, they could really do anything.

”A million US Dollars, right?” Bai Xiaosheng nodded, giving Lin Weiwei a look.

Lin Weiwei immediately took a checkbook from her handbag, tore a check, and handed it to Bai Xiaosheng.

Bai Xiaosheng signed it and handed it to Baldy, ”We’ll pay this money.”

Such words made Tieluoga beside him look at Bai Xiaosheng in shock.

They were total strangers, having exchanged just a few words, yet the other party was willing to pay such a large sum!

The bald men around also exchanged glances, feeling somewhat surprised.

Unexpectedly, they actually came across a genuine rich guy today.

One of Baldy’s men was about to take the check from Bai Xiaosheng’s hand, but as soon as he moved, Baldy stopped him.

Earlier, Baldy also had a surprised expression, but now he changed his tone, sinisterly saying, ”Kid, do you truly not know the rules, or are you fooling me?”

”I lent him a million, pay back a million? Aren’t there supposed to be interest!”

”Or do you think I’m running a charity?”

Baldy raised his voice, ”Now, you need to pay me... two hundred and fifty thousand.”

”What?!”

Beside Bai Xiaosheng, Tieluoga exclaimed, ”Wasn’t it two hundred thousand yesterday!”

Baldy glanced at Tieluoga, sneered, ”It’s been a while, tomorrow if you repay, it will be even more.”

After saying that, Baldy glanced at Bai Xiaosheng.

Bai Xiaosheng frowned slightly, looked at the check in his hand, ”This is three million, sorry, I made it more.”

”You want 2.5 million, right?” Bai Xiaosheng handed the check back to Lin Weiwei, ”I’ll write it again for you.”

Bai Xiaosheng’s words made Baldy’s smile freeze on his face, and his companions were all stunned.

This easily obtainable 3 million is going to be replaced with 2.5 million?

They really are going to be made into fools...

Tieluoga looked at Bai Xiaosheng in shock, not expecting the other party to be so wealthy.

”Well... wait a minute!” Baldy regained his composure and shouted, ”I miscalculated earlier. The money Tieluoga needs to pay back isn’t 2.5 million. Somebody, bring me a calculator!”

Right now, there isn’t any calculator here.

A companion next to the Baldhead handed over a phone, with the calculator app open.

Baldy pretended to press the phone randomly, finally looking up with a smile at Bai Xiaosheng, ”It should be 5 million!”

”Five million... are you crazy!” Tieluoga was startled by the number and shouted.

Bai Xiaosheng also frowned.

Money isn’t the problem, but he can’t allow himself to be treated like a gold mine, to be mined at will.

”I really didn’t expect Mr. Tieluoga to have such wealthy friends; let’s make friends too.” Baldy leapt down from a pile of junk, smiling as he approached, eyeing Bai Xiaosheng before letting his gaze linger over Lin Weiwei.

He had already decided to not let go of this beautiful Asian woman back in the cabin, and now seeing they have so much money only intensified his greed.

The surrounding people also showed greedy, ferocious expressions.

”I’d like to invite you all to be my guests!” Baldy said with a sinister smile.

Bai Xiaosheng frowned, ”What if we refuse?”

”You’ll go whether you want to or not!”

”You won’t be leaving today anyway!”

”We don’t just do money business; we have other dealings. Can you guess what those might be?”

”With a woman this beautiful, who would let her go!”

Baldy’s accomplices suddenly seemed to be fueled with adrenaline, shouting excitedly, even moving in closer.

Tieluoga became nervous, gritting his teeth and grabbing a mop beside him, keeping a wary eye on everyone around, ready to fight.

In contrast, Bai Xiaosheng and his two companions remained inexplicably calm.

”I initially thought that if money can solve the problem, it isn’t a problem at all, but I was wrong.” Bai Xiaosheng sighed, glancing at Lei Ying, ”You’ve been itching to do this, haven’t you? Go ahead.”

Lei Ying, whose face had been cold as ice, smiled after hearing this.

That expression was as joyful as a child, yet as terrifying as a ghost.

Baldy suddenly felt darkness closing in around him.

He only saw an enormous fist enlarging infinitely before his eyes, blocking out everything around him.

Baldy’s companions only heard a dull thudding sound, then saw their leader sent flying away, with no clue as to what happened.

Where Baldy had stood, now stood another person, that big Asian guy.

Those men watched as the big guy turned to them with a wicked smile, saying something bizarre, ”The weather today is just lovely.”

A few minutes later, Bai Xiaosheng and Lin Weiwei returned to the cabin with a still-shaken Tieluoga, who seemed out of it throughout the journey.

He had never seen someone as big as a bear moving with the speed of a leopard, taking down opponents with each blow in such an overwhelming manner.

Just moments ago, he witnessed it.

”We’re almost at the shore.” Bai Xiaosheng heard the announcement and said to Tieluoga with a smile.

”Ah, ah, really?” Tieluoga finally snapped out of it.

At that moment, at the back of the ship, Lei Ying was talking to the paralyzed Baldhead, whose eyes were filled with fear, as weak as a child.

”You really are in a good era, if it were a dozen years ago when I was a mercenary, you would probably have already met your maker.” Lei Ying said softly, ”Make sure you don’t show up in front of us again, okay?”

Baldy nodded vigorously, just like a chicken pecking rice.

Lei Ying released his grip, letting the other fall to the ground, and turned to walk back to the cabin, murmuring, ”Today the weather is just fantastic.”
