Inheritance of Two Trillion

Chapter 2775: Chapter 1966: Reinforcements Arriving (Part 3)

Tieluoga helped out the old man, really just to spend more time with his father and understand his work.

This time, old Rogge brought a thick stack of white-paper notebooks, documenting and drawing out every big and small issue with several generators.

This was no small project; by morning, the father and son had already filled over twenty pages, supposedly covering just a small part of one generator’s issues.

Seeing this, Bai Xiaosheng and the others were quite taken aback.

And this didn’t even include the inspection of auxiliary equipment. Truly a colossal project.

”Luckily, reinforcements are arriving today. I’ve directed them to come straight here,” old Rogge said to Bai Xiaosheng as he took a break, giving his sore shoulder a tap.

Tieluoga quickly stepped forward to help his father massage his back.

Old Rogge found this quite pleasing.

”I’ve also spoken with Mr. Santos from Kustiel. He’s arranged accommodations for these people and will switch their visas to long-term ones,” Bai Xiaosheng said with a smile. ”Additionally, Kustiel will pay a considerable bonus to them, not as a salary but as a reward. I think Kustiel is eager to build a good relationship with these talents.”

Old Rogge smiled upon hearing this. ”This Kustiel management sure knows how to handle things.”

After the conversation, Bai Xiaosheng and his group joined in to help.

The morning quickly passed by.

At noon, the security supervisor brought over lunch. They must have been instructed by Mr. Santos, for the lunch was quite sumptuous.

Everyone set up tables by the reservoir, enjoying the scenery while savoring their meal.

After eating, they brewed a pot of black tea, planning to rest before starting work again.

Just then, the security supervisor came running, saying someone outside was asking to see Mr. Rogge.

Upon hearing the visitor’s name, old Rogge laughed heartily, ”Look, the first reinforcements have arrived!”

Then, Bai Xiaosheng, the others, and Tieluoga accompanied old Rogge to the entrance to welcome the guest.

Bai Xiaosheng discovered that the so-called student who came was a gray-haired old man, seemingly not much younger than old Rogge, accompanied by three assistants, students.

Both old Rogge and the guest were overjoyed to see each other.

Old Rogge introduced Bai Xiaosheng to the visitor, and the old man greeted Bai Xiaosheng politely.

Faced with the old engineer, Bai Xiaosheng naturally responded with the utmost courtesy.

After some small talk, they all headed towards the dam.

On the way, old Rogge discussed the challenges of the repair project and the unique hydrology of the area with the guest, who showed great interest.

It had seemed rare enough that one reinforcement arrived today.

What Bai Xiaosheng didn’t expect was that by evening, two more arrived.

One was a somewhat taciturn middle-aged man, who brought a male assistant.

The other was a young-looking woman, who had come alone but was already in her forties.

Bai Xiaosheng quickly communicated with Santos to arrange accommodations for the ”reinforcements.”

The day passed swiftly.

The next day, more ”reinforcements” came in droves. Two in the morning, three in the afternoon, spanning ages young to old, bringing enough assistants to form a strengthened platoon.

The tidal power station suddenly became bustling.

Old Rogge was surrounded, leading a large group.

Old Rogge had prepared in advance and subsequently divided them into several groups, each with its own responsibilities.

Bai Xiaosheng and his group found themselves with nothing left to do.

In the afternoon, Santos arrived after hearing the news, meeting the engineers present, giving a warm thank-you speech, and arranging dedicated staff to serve everyone.

Bai Xiaosheng and his group were left with nothing to do, not even menial tasks.

Feeling quite idle, Lin Weiwei timely reminded Bai Xiaosheng.

They had an appointment that evening.

Bai Xiaosheng slapped his forehead, remembering his engagement with spice merchant Leifer.

”I almost forgot! Weiwei, quickly get Tieluoga! We need to go together!”
