Inheritance of Two Trillion

Chapter 2770: Chapter 1965: No Problems at All

Old Rogge agreed to host the repair of the tide power station, which made Tieluoga, Lin Weiwei, and Lei Ying very pleased.

Bai Xiaosheng publicly told Tieluoga that he wants to help him restart the spice business, but it won’t be as simple as funding; instead, they will partner up.

Bai Xiaosheng intends to establish a new company here, where Tieluoga will be a shareholder and serve as the general manager.

This implicitly minimized the risks Tieluoga had to face.

Tieluoga was both surprised and delighted to hear this. He naturally wanted to make a comeback, but he had been hesitant before; now that their relationship was harmonious, they could speak candidly.

Seeing Tieluoga truly happy, old Rogge also felt a deep sense of relief.

Subsequently, Bai Xiaosheng called Santos, telling him that a very important friend of his was entangled in an illegal debt dispute in Kustiel, and asked for his assistance in resolving it.

Bai Xiaosheng also emphasized that this friend is very important to the tide power station repair project.

Hearing it was related to the power station and just a small matter, Santos readily agreed over the phone and asked for detailed information on those involved in the illegal activities.

Standing next to Bai Xiaosheng, Tieluoga wrote down the information on paper, and Bai Xiaosheng read it out to Santos.

After dealing with this matter, Rogge and his son felt even more grateful to Bai Xiaosheng.

”Mr. Bai, we’re just sitting here doing nothing. I think we might as well go to the power station and take a look at the situation, so I know what we’re dealing with. What do you think?” old Rogge proactively suggested to Bai Xiaosheng.

Once he decided to get involved, feeling grateful towards Bai Xiaosheng, old Rogge couldn’t sit still for a moment and wanted to start working immediately.

Bai Xiaosheng was naturally happy to start early and replied with a smile, ”We have no problem with that, it’s all up to you.”

Old Rogge immediately decided, ”Then let’s go to the power station!”

They hired a car from the village, and everyone went to the tidal power station together.

The security chief there didn’t expect this group to return. Due to Bai Xiaosheng’s identity, he naturally greeted them warmly.

Bai Xiaosheng solemnly pointed to old Rogge and told him, ”Chief, from now on, this gentleman here can come and go freely.”

The security chief smiled but didn’t immediately respond.

”This is also Mr. Santos’s intention. In the future, this gentleman will be overseeing the repair work here,” Bai Xiaosheng added.

Hearing this, the security chief’s eyes widened in surprise, and he quickly responded warmly to old Rogge, ”I see, then there is no problem at all! Whenever you come, we’re all welcoming. Please forgive me for any past overstepping!”

”Chief, you’re just doing your job. We’ll be in frequent contact from now on, please take good care of us.”

Old Rogge also smiled and reconciled with him.

With everyone in harmony, they walked towards the dam.

Inside the equipment room of the dam, old Rogge left Bai Xiaosheng and others behind, circling around each generator, so engrossed that he forgot himself.

He muttered to himself.

”Ever since this power station stalled, I’ve been thinking about what went wrong...”

”The salinity here is higher than in other regions, and the seabed has pits which easily form tiny eddies, leading to unpredictable water flows...”

”Moreover, this year’s tidal changes are different from previous years...”

”All these factors can affect the lifespan of several components in this model of generator, and each component can lead to greater wear and tear, more severe cracking and deformation in others.”

”As expected, things are just like this...”

Bai Xiaosheng and the others quietly followed behind, without uttering a word, fearful of interrupting Rogge’s inspection.

Every time old Rogge shook his head and sighed, it made everyone nervous, and each nod of optimism eased their tension.

After making the round, old Rogge became silent again, evaluating the overall situation.

Bai Xiaosheng was somewhat anxious to ask if the generators could be repaired and if the power station could be brought back to operation.

However, in the end, Bai Xiaosheng calmed himself and waited for old Rogge to speak first.

”Mr. Bai, the situation is very serious, and in some aspects, it’s even beyond my expectations,” old Rogge started, causing Bai Xiaosheng and the others’ hearts to pound.

”Is it still possible to repair them?” Bai Xiaosheng asked cautiously.

This question made Lin Weiwei, Lei Ying, and Tieluoga somewhat tense.

After a thoughtful consideration, old Rogge finally delivered an exhilarating answer, ”They can be repaired!”

Upon hearing this, even Bai Xiaosheng couldn’t help but breathe a sigh of relief and smile.

Old Rogge looked at Bai Xiaosheng and laughed, ”Mr. Bai, choosing me means you’ve found the right person. I dare say, when it comes to repairing this power station, no one else in the world has more authority than me.”

”I’ve studied this sea area for many years; salinity, temperature, water flow rate, I know everything like the back of my hand.”

”I’ve fished here for over ten or twenty years, and in my spare time, I’ve been deducing numerous problems, imagining countless solutions...”

Looking at the idle equipment, old Rogge’s expression was more confident than ever, ”No one is more suitable to fix it than I am!”

Bai Xiaosheng smiled and nodded emphatically.

The others also listened with enthusiasm and encouragement.

”There’s more,” old Rogge continued with Bai Xiaosheng, ”Although I have been reclusive here for many years, no longer appearing in the public eye as my previous persona, I have taken on some students online in recent years. They are all top experts in this field. Even when they were still in college, they often sought my advice, and now they are managing on their own. Of course, they don’t know my identity, but as long as I send out an academic invitation, they would agree to come and help.”
