The Valued Lady is Truly Dominant

Chapter 138: Chapter 138 Punishment

Madam Song kicked Furong to the ground; it was the first time she had been so humiliated in front of her husband since their marriage, all because of this wretched servant.

”Madam, spare me, madam!” Furong cried out, clutching tightly to Madam Song’s legs, sobbing desperately.

Madam Song’s anger grew even more, and she shouted, ”Is everyone dead? Why hasn’t anyone dragged this wretched servant away!”

Shao Yao and Jie Gen immediately rushed in from left and right to pull Furong away.

Old Madam Fang arrived upon hearing the commotion; she had only stepped away for a moment, yet this wretched servant had managed to break in.

”Wretched servant.” Without another word, Old Madam Fang slapped Furong twice across the face, then turned to the wheezing Madam Song, ”Madam, there’s no need to get angry with this wretched servant. Hai Tang, quickly fetch a Heart Cleansing Pill for the Madam.”

Madam Song gripped Old Madam Fang’s hand tightly, glaring at Furong with a face full of anger, ”I’ve been kind to you, yet you choose to disgrace yourself, daring to show off in front of the Prime Minister. You wretched servant, you must have a death wish.”

Furong cried uncontrollably, ”Madam, I dare not, I truly don’t want to leave you, madam.”

”Don’t want to leave? Do you think I don’t know you want to offer yourself to the Prime Minister? Wretched servant, you dare, you think you’re worthy? Have you looked at your own status? Do you think the Prime Minister would take a fancy to you?” Madam Song’s anger was real; even though she had thought of having her serve Song Zhiyuan, that did not mean Furong could seek him out without her consent.

In consideration of their time together, Madam Song had planned to let her quietly leave the manor, as a gesture to maintain face for both mistress and servant. Who knew, her attempt to do good was met with deception from this wretched servant.

Madam Song had never been this angry, especially in front of her own husband; that glance truly humiliated her.

”Madam, madam, let me continue to serve you, madam. Didn’t you also like Furong, and wanted Furong to serve the Prime Minister...” Furong wept bitterly.

”Shut up!” Madam Song yelled angrily, ”What the master gives you, you can take. But if you dare to reach for something without the master’s permission, you are betraying your master. I don’t need such a wretched servant, lest you sully my sight.”

”Madam, I...”

”Say another word, and letting your parents take you home to marry a farmer would be considered giving you face. If you refuse, do you want the matchmaker to take you away and sell you to some filthy place to get peace of mind?” Madam Song sneered coldly.

Furong’s face turned deathly pale at these words.

Old Madam Fang said, ”Why are you still standing there? Drag her away and stuff a cloth in her mouth, so she doesn’t disturb the masters.”

The matrons came and took the gagged Furong away.

Old Madam Fang had already fetched water, and after taking the Heart Cleansing Pill from Hai Tang, she helped Madam Song take it, soothingly rubbing her back, ”Madam, calm down. It’s not worth getting angry over such a wretched servant. If you’re truly angry, you can have her beaten to death later.”

For such a maid who dared to climb into the master’s bed and betray her mistress, beating her to death would not be questioned by anyone. It’s only that madam remembered their days together that she let her go back, but alas, this wretched servant didn’t cherish her fortune.

”I’m angry at her overestimating herself, and even more so at her making me look bad in front of the Prime Minister, especially on such an auspicious day,” Madam Song said furiously. ”And the guards in this courtyard couldn’t even keep this wretched servant out, deduct a month’s salary from all of them.”

”Yes.”

Madam Song was still not appeased and coldly stated, ”Have the matchmaker sell her entire family, far away.”

If they don’t appreciate the face given, then let them all be gone.
