Apocalypse: Master of Soul Beasts

The meeting was adjourned.

Everything that needed to be said, Wen Yu had said. The remaining task was for each major settlement to work together to craft a solution, which wouldn’t take long.

Three days later, when Wen Yu had completely moved the Star of Africa and had already taken away a small portion of the Soul Puppets, Lin Haifeng visited again.

This time, he represented the entire Human Race.

...

”The specific plan is here, but there are some details we don’t understand.”

Lin Haifeng said this, then unfolded a map, revealing the flat analysis map of the tiered battle ground, the Ring Star Sector.

”We intend to arrange the entire tiered battlefield in a circular configuration. The area surrounding the main city is a Level 1 territory, and the outermost area is Level 10. As for the distribution of Demon Realm’s Gates, Level 1 occupies twenty percent, Level 2 twenty percent, Level 3 twenty percent, Level 4 twenty percent, Level 5 ten percent, Level 6 five percent, Level 7 two percent, and Levels 8, 9, and 10 are all one percent. This is mainly to alleviate the pressure on the front line battlefield, while also increasing the efforts to cultivate lower-level life forms.”

Upon hearing Lin Haifeng’s explanation, Wen Yu nodded: ”This arrangement poses no issues.”

”Also, regarding the zoning, we’ve placed all mainland blocs harboring Demon Realm’s Gates within the 0 to 30-degrees angle of the northeast area, which is designated as the main battle zone of the tiered battlefield. We’ll deploy troops around it for tight security. We’ve also had discussions with the mutant beasts; both parties will send people. The other areas will serve as our base for thriving.”

A conventional arrangement, likely containing each party’s careful considerations, but all these will be consolidated by Lin Haifeng, so Wen Yu doesn’t need to be concerned with them.

”Where I’m puzzled is here.”

Lin Haifeng gestured towards the Level 10 battle zone planned within the tiered battlefield.

”Once we are defeated in this location, will these Level 10 demon fiends be trapped in this area, or will they...”

”The latter. Once any battle zone shows no sign of Earth life, the protective zone at the edge of the battle zone will be lifted, and the demon fiends of that level will be completely unrestrained. This equally means the loss of the battle for that zone, allowing demon fiends of that level to roam freely among various level territories, and this process is irreversible, unable to reconstruct the level protection grid! Either hold on or collapse, those are the only choices!”

Regarding this issue, Wen Yu had inquired about it from 001 three days prior. The Dominator had entrusted the tiered battlefield to the Human Race not for them to hide within to thrive and amass strength. As Wen Yu mentioned, this is essentially a large battlefield. Although the Dominator has set up stringent defensive measures between levels, these defense barriers aren’t absolutely firm like the Level Locks.

This serves merely as a protective measure; if you really regard it as a lifeline, it can only mean you truly don’t understand the Dominator’s stance...

Listening to Wen Yu’s explanation, Lin Haifeng nodded, then lowered his head to gaze at the map for quite a while before softly sighing.

”Then this arrangement needs to be adjusted; the Level 10 zone... when the Level 10 Level Lock is broken, this battle will be challenging... Do you have any advice?”

”Yes!”

Wen Yu promptly nodded, then pointed at the map: ”Expand the Level 10 territory as much as possible, I plan to allocate one-third of the mainland blocs into the Level 10 battlefield. Actually, there’s a loophole in the rule that’s not so much of a loophole, which lies in ’a battle zone shows no sign of Earth life’. You could simply understand it as long as one Earth life form remains in that battle zone, the level protection grid can’t be breached. At crucial moments, a strong individual or one adept at hiding could linger alone in the Level 10 battle zone to buy time...”

Upon saying this, Wen Yu fell silent, pondered for a moment, then shook his head: ”Level 10, it’s tough... when the Level 10 Level Lock is broken, it also signifies Level 11 powerful experts from the Demon Tribe can pass through the Demon Realm’s Gate, with Level 10 stature confronting possibly numerous Level 11 experts and a Level 10 Demon Realm army. Imaging it is difficult...”

”We’ll deal with it when the time comes.”

Lin Haifeng said this, then gestured once more to the map on the table.

”Most of the mainland blocs you need have been placed at the rear, do you think this arrangement works?”

Upon hearing this, Wen Yu glanced over the map on the table for quite some time before gently shaking his head: ”No need to take special care of my Soul Puppets, place them on the frontline battlefield, leaving a small portion behind as seeds will suffice.”

”Generous!”

Lin Haifeng said to Wen Yu with a smile, and then took out a pencil, marking on the map for a while before placing it back in front of Wen Yu.

”See if this works now?”

”Let’s go with this.”

Wen Yu agreed.

...

Once the matter was settled, Wen Yu led Lin Haifeng through the permanent large transmission channel outside the Soul Experiment Lab to the main city of the tiered battlefield.

In just three days apart, there were already scattered figures of Soul Puppets on the streets, and most of the shops on the Star of Africa had been relocated to the commercial area of the main city. In the future, this would become the main place for Wen Yu to scavenge from around the world.

Wen Yu led Lin Haifeng to the central control tower. Along the way, Lin Haifeng, who was visiting for the first time, couldn’t help but be amazed — this place was so similar to the Eternal Sky City. Despite each arrangement, each function being just as good, with the jewel in the crown that is the Eternal Sky City existing already, Lin Haifeng couldn’t deny the Dominator seemed to be mass-producing mega-sized cities — somewhat like a form of perfunctory...

Upon arriving at the central control tower, Wen Yu, following Lin Haifeng’s direction, continuously adjusted the positions of the mainland blocs. In no time, the entire Ring Star Sector’s mainland blocs had been adjusted to match the design on the map, the next step being the placement of the Demon Realm’s Gates.

Wen Yu just about to do this but suddenly paused his actions, turned to look at Lin Haifeng.

”Once the Demon Realm’s Gates are placed, demon fiends on Earth will become like trees without roots, are you prepared to wipe out the residual demon fiends remaining on Earth?”

”We’re prepared, rest assured that none of them will escape.”

Wen Yu nodded — beforehand, Wen Yu had already sent a message to Zero urging a swift return to the Demon Realm, employing this secret agent had been quite satisfactory.

With arrangements in Africa already settled by Wen Yu, since Lin Haifeng stated they were prepared in this regard, Wen Yu refrained from further questioning, simply using his authority to begin relocating the Demon Realm’s Gates on Earth.
